It was the call of the night, and when Zia led the six nuns and their priestess to the lowest room of the underground levels beneath the church, the seven of them froze as they saw the Forr Saintess asleep in a coffin with a simple white blanket covering her.
After Arad killed her and she was turned into the first angel Eris made, the Saintess seems to have been reborn as an angel of blood, having many of the sa properties as vampires, yet empowering her blood magic with divine power. While Eris was surprised to find out that even angels could be born as vampires, Akasha already told her that her mother, Aka, also known as Hel, the Divine Goddess of Vampires and undeath, also had vampire and zombie angels.
The six nuns and their priestess were already brought up to speed on all of the vampire and Eris’s second na earlier, and while they were shocked at first, it seems that they have relaxed a bit, knowing there was another place for them besides being cast into hell.
It seems as many speculated in the ancient book, each god has their monsters, and Eris wasn’t an exception to that rule. It didn’t matter who the divine was or what they represented; they are bound to have a flaw and a second face that flips their entire existence on its head.
Eris, who put people to rest and granted their dignity after death, was a murderous divine whose main existence is for killing people and desecrating their corpses; she was the patron god of murderers.
Amaterasu, who was the most generous of the gods, was also the sa one grilling the sinners in hell and funding the devils, which was utterly unbelievable.
But what surprised those seven more was that, Eris herself was a vampire, and a powerful one at that, second only to... the emperor himself, which was a being above vampire called a Pricolici. The six nuns started at Arad’s massive body, and then at each other.
They knew he was a powerful dragon, they knew he was strong enough to wipe a kingdom from the map with ease, and they didn’t fail to hear the rumors about him actively fighting and killing gods and demigods. No one was stupid enough to think Arad was weak, and so even firmly believed that he could actually defeat Eris as a goddess.
But what they couldn’t have believed was that he, too, was a horrid, horrifying, and ugly nightmarish monster that was far above vampires, a Pricolici. They saw those black wings, leathery and hairy tails, long, forked tongue with a stinger, the rancid poison, the eyes, the face and ears, the form, and the utter monstrosity that his true form was.
But, at least for them, seeing that form right in front of their eyes, they weren’t scared, and instead they were... aroused. "Hear out." One of the nuns claid, "This isn’t really that bad if you look closely at it."
Another nodded. "Sure, he eats people alive, sure can probably kill us by just looking at us, and I’m sure that poison burns and hurt like hell... but I don’t hate for so reason."
The priestess nodded, "Yeah, it’s ugly cute, like a pug!"
One of nuns threw a glance at the sleeping Saintess, and then turned to approach Arad. "But... this form is your true one?"
Arad shook his head, and his voice rang in her head like a distant echo. "No, just a transformation. At the base, I am a dragon, a human, and recently, a Nymph."
She shivered, "Ah, that tickles! It’s like sothing is crawling inside my skull..." She wiggled like a worm for a mont, and Arad sighed. "As a Pricolici, I can talk directly into your mind by either using high-pitched sounds that gets heard by your ear but only understood by your subconscious mind, or by directly controlling the blood inside your eardrums to generate the sound."
"Well, I can’t say I understand any of that... but did you just say you’re a Nymph? Aren’t they all won?" She lifted an eyebrow and Arad sighed, "It’s a long story, but I got multiple incarnations that are all doing different things, mainly reconnaissance work. And no, I’m not bringing the Nymph here, she is now exploring a dangerous region of the abyss."
"The Abyss?!" One of the nuns gasped, "That place really exist?!"
Zia walked behind her, and grabbed her by the butt so hard that her nails dug into her skin, "Now, do you want to shove my foot inside you? I caught you at that vile Abel’s shop with actual demons!"
"Ah! Be gentle!" The nun moaned, "You can’t bla ! The church only opened recently, what do you think my job was beforehand? Or are we not allowed to switch back to the path of god!"
Zia was getting angrier, "No one was talking about what you were doing before joining the church! I’m talking about what you were doing AFTER wearing this sacred robe!"
"But! But... they paid five tis the usual rate! So even ten tis!"
Zia finally snapped and lifted the nun by the butt. "Yeah, and thanks to you seven, so demons now think that Eris’s faithful are cheap and can be bought with gold. Do you even understand what it ans for a demon to just throw one of my paladins a bag of gold and ask her to please him?"
It seems that what the nuns were doing eventually gave so demons the wrong idea, it spread, and eventually reached the demons the vampire nuns were fighting against all across the empire, causing a lot of mayhem, and that was the reason for Zia’s rage.
"Listen, how could I have known it would’ve resulted in this? I thought the demons allowed into this world were fine." She then cried, "And, AW! My precious lump!"
Zia rubbed her head feverishly as she tossed the nun to the ground, "Demons are demons! They are fundantally different than all mortals. They are the spawns of destruction, and that ans they are bound by fate to bring ruin and degradation to anything they touch. There are no good demons, just ones that know how to pretend to be good."
The priestess stared at them. "But if there are no good demons, what about... Kali?"
Zia glared at her. "She is the worst and most deranged of all demons. But... Arad is keeping her in check. I know she is far stronger than him, but for so miracle, she seems to enjoy sucking up his toes."
While Zia and the rest didn’t know anything, Eris and Arad were fully aware of the reason Kali, the Demon Goddess of Destruction, was perfectly docile and obedient. She knows he is AO, and this already sees him as a being stronger and of higher standing than her, checking her demonic primal instinct for domination with sheer violence.
The priestess threw a glare toward Arad, "Well, I can’t say I don’t understand how she feels." And imdiately, she got smacked down by Zia.
"Ah..." Arad looked at them, "Hear out for a mont." He then pointed back, "She is awake."
The Saintess finally opened her eyes, and she sat up, letting the white blanket drop. Her eyes have fully regenerated and are now glowing pure red, her blond hair flashed golden, and her skin beca even paler than before.
Her eyes seed to stare into the horizon for a second, and then, her entire body flashed pink as the blood rushed into her veins and skin, then... she lted, filling the coffin she was in with bright red blood.
As an angel, her true form was a puddle of blood, and that puddle would only grow larger the stronger she gets.
Zia looked at the priestess, "Go, and expect it to hurt a lot."
The priestess finally stopped smiling, and she glared at the blood-filled coffin with a fearful face. She then took a deep breath, sighed, and stripped down. Then, she approached the coffin and looked at it.
"What are you waiting for? Take a dip in." Zia poked her in the back, and the priestess looked at her with a worried face. "Can’t she just... bite my neck and suck the blood that way?"
"She can’t, she just fully transford, and she can’t maintain a fake form like a humanoid body. Look at her, she can’t even flow out of the coffin from how starved she is." She pointed at the coffin, "Expect her to bite more than your neck. Thousands of fangs will most likely pierce your entire body from head to toes."
"I might die if that’s the case..."
"You’re the one who caused all of this ss in the first place and dragged those six nuns in with you. She is now hungry and would most likely be rough with you since she doesn’t even know how to do it herself. You’ll have to suffer first so those six would have a slightly less horrifying experience."
But as they were talking, Arad already had his arm deep into the puddle of the water, causing them to gasp.
He was silent, and then lifted an eyebrow. "She isn’t biting..."
Akasha looked at him with a tired face. "Your blood is too spicy even for Eris to drink. That angel would die of starvation before daring to sip a single drop of your blood."
He pulled his hand, and the priestess gulped. "Well, I’m going in."
