And the curse it had just cast had already succeeded.

After cursing for a while, the Evil Rat spoke again.
Seeing its power gradually fading away, Kana felt waiting a bit longer was fine.

Streams of silver liquid gushed from the ground, transforming into leaves and vines, becoming Kana’s most reliable assistants.
One puppet after another appeared in front of Kana, and using the traits of the puppets, they bore one curse after another for him.
But the curses were too many and too frenzied, ultimately a few still fell on Kana.

The Evil Rat’s claw scratched Kana’s arm, pulling out a few deep gashes, and the filthy power instantly spread, rapidly withering Kana’s entire left arm, shaping it like a dried corpse.
The intertwining of silver liquid and blood reford the shape of the arm, the front end morphing into entwined vines, once again penetrating the Evil Rat’s body.
Most of the Evil Rat’s body was penetrated by silver branches, suffering the severe injuries dealt by the god-slaying force.
"Hahaha!" Yet the Evil Rat let out a burst of manic laughter.
The two fought back and forth, completely ignoring the severe injuries on their bodies, as if plunged into a frenzied battle.
anwhile, the Blood God, returning to the sky, was thrilled at what it saw, shouting loudly within its domain.
It wished desperately to unleash its power, but at this mont the world’s rules barred it, allowing no participation.
Nurous curses piled up puppet remnants around Kana.
Even with these puppets sharing the burden, Kana still carried quite a few curses on him.
His face was covered in wrinkles, and even one of his eyes had turned gray-white.
The evidence of repair with interwoven silver liquid and blood was all over his body, with not a hair left on his head.
And the Evil Rat’s condition was even more miserable.

It believed Kana would either choose to perish with it or give up the attack.
