Now reading: Chapter 112 - 80: The Foal in the Forest3 from The game has become a real alternate world, a Game novel by Drink cola or not?.

Without waiting for everyone to react, he picked up a stick from the fire and held it up as a torch, leading the group towards the forest in the night.

"The wilderness at night is dangerous," Anita reminded.

"Don’t worry, since there are so many Forest Demons, it ans this territory belongs to them. Other creatures wouldn’t dare to co here.

Moreover, we have taken out so many of them, including their leader, they definitely won’t return to their nest but will scatter and flee.

They collect so decent-looking items and store them in their nest.

Sotis, they even capture captives and keep them as backup food."

Kana explained as he walked, saying that this area was the territory of the Forest Demons. He was familiar with it and quickly led everyone to the nest.

You naturally can’t expect such a great nest from these Forest Demons; you can sll a stench from afar.

Like the sll of urine.

However, Kana kept a straight face. Although reality endowed him with senses that he didn’t have in the ga, like sll and taste,

after experiencing the stench of the Rotting Monarch, these odors really were nothing to him.

"See? Between those large trees."

The nest of the Jungle Demons was built in the trees. You could see so rudintary structures there, all simply tied together with vines and branches.

"Are there no Forest Demons left in the nest?" Bobo asked, perplexed.

"It seems so of the Forest Demons that just escaped have returned, and when they saw us chasing, they ran with them."

After speaking, Kana turned his head to George: "Go up and take a look, see if there’s anything valuable.

We might hit the jackpot, haha."

Hearing this, George got quite interested too, rubbing his hands together before climbing up one of the nearby trees using both his hands and feet.

"Hmm-hmm..." Apparently, the sll above wasn’t pleasant. As soon as George got up there, he protested against the odor.

It wasn’t long before so noises ca from above.

"What’s going on?" Blake imdiately asked from below.

"N-nothing, just got startled," George replied.

Kana frowned, startled?

The noise just now clearly indicated sothing alive, aning there happened to be a captive in the nest.

What a coincidence?

Considering the size of the Forest Demons, they wouldn’t capture humans, and even Dwarves aren’t on their radar.

Could it be a Goblin or perhaps the cub of so animal?

"Hey, little guy, I an no harm." George’s voice ca from the nest above.

He seed to be conversing with so creature.

It was clearly not an animal, and definitely not a Goblin, those ugly brutes.

He felt like he was about to hit a jackpot.

Kana motioned to Blake.

Blake jumped up holding a faint Holy Light as illumination in his hands.

And then there was another burst of struggling and chaotic sounds.

Along with cries similar to a child’s.

The two jumped down from the tree, and in their hands, there was a tiny struggling creature.

They placed her on the ground.

"Hmm-hmm-mm!"

The little creature bared its teeth but was quite brave.

"What is this? Is it... half human, half horse?" Alyris was startled.

She hadn’t been this surprised even when seeing a Ratman.

After all, Ratn are just enlarged rats standing up, but this was sothing far more complex.

Let alone her, everyone present was shocked.

Including Bobo and Anita, although they weren’t as exaggerated as Alyris and her group.

They were more astonished at why such a creature was here.

"A little Centaur, looks like I hit the jackpot," Kana flashed a radiant smile.

It was a small foal, though you had to ignore that growing from the horse’s head was the upper body of a human.

And it was clear she was really young, making you wonder if she had just been born. Moreover, she was a little girl.

She wasn’t much larger than a Goblin in size.

"Wind Slave." Kana uttered in a strange tone, using so peculiar language.

Upon hearing Kana’s words, the little foal imdiately showed a look of surprise, her large rounded eyes fixing on Kana.

Then Kana pointed to himself: "Good person."

Pointed at the foal: "Safe," and extended his hand towards the darkness: "Ho."

The little foal babbled a string of words, but Kana couldn’t understand, only shaking his head to indicate his lack of comprehension.

He could speak but not understand.

So adults in the Centaur Tribe knew the common language, which is why Kana hadn’t learned any while being a Player.

He only knew so simple words, enough to speak but not understand.

After this exchange with Kana, the little foal visibly cald down.

Kana slowly approached, repeating the sa words.

He went to her, reached over, and gently patted her head, then personally untied the vines entwining her.

Pointing into the night, he said: "Ho."

The clever little foal nodded, also repeating the solitary word: "Ho."

"How did such a small Centaur end up here?" Bobo asked curiously.

Then the little foal saw Bobo, a large upright white rat.

"Aahhh!"

Her terrified scream pierced the night.

Even though she didn’t show fear in the presence of the group, she reacted as if seeing a ghost, screaming and crashing directly into Kana’s arms, tightly hugging him.

Her body trembled incessantly.

Everyone suddenly fell silent.

"Ah! Damn it, I’m really fed up with this hellish place!"

Bobo shouted in despair.

The kind-hearted Alyris crouched down, gently stroking her head in comfort.
