"Oh oh oh!"

"Revenge!"

"..."

The surrounding Dwarfs shouted, their voices filled with anger.

Next ca the preparation for the funeral ceremony.

The Dwarfs got busy.

Kana also temporarily dismissed the team, letting them wander around Gray Furnace Castle on their own.

He took Alyris and Bobo to a rock outside Gray Furnace Castle.

"Your Highness, was that last speculation of yours made up to deceive them?" Alyris asked beside him.

Bobo couldn’t help but glance at Kana in surprise.

So that sentence was to comfort them?

"Why do you say that?" Kana looked at Alyris and asked.

"Because I’ve been observing you, Your Highness. And such an important speculation, if not backed by solid evidence, you wouldn’t say it lightly.

After all, upon hearing such a speculation, those Dwarfs got very excited and even angry."

"That’s right." Kana nodded, unapologetically admitting it.

"Are these Dwarfs really related to Demons? My God, this..." Bobo was exceptionally surprised, feeling like she overheard so incredible information.

A Dwarf Tribe related to Demons, no wonder there are only a few thousand of them, hiding in these remote mountains.

"Alright, don’t ask further. Unless the facts are laid before these Dwarfs, they won’t believe it.

Even though Dwarfs generally have a decent character, they are known to be quite stubborn." This can be considered the common trait of all Dwarfs.

Hearing this, Bobo roughly understood. She had a deeper insight, as her travel experiences were no re joke.

Bobo asked, "You don’t want this matter to cause a rift between us and the Dwarfs, right?"

"Yes, precisely. Matters without evidence, even if spoken of, seem to have no point."

As he said this, Kana suddenly smiled, "However, the evidence should be arriving soon. Until then, I need you to do a favor."

...

As the funeral ceremony proceeded.

The atmosphere in Gray Furnace Castle suddenly beca heavy, and many Dwarfs were sending off the Warriors at the ceremony.

Many Dwarfs cried out loud, with no attempt to hide their grief.

"Where is Eric?" Getai asked in confusion after finishing his mourning sorrowfully.

Following his return with Kana, he faced a series of questions, and until now, he had the mind to pay attention elsewhere.

Not seeing Eric at this mont was really strange.

"Eric? He’s locked in the dungeon, he too was affected. And he was the first to be affected," a Dwarf Guard said.

Hearing this, Getai quickly turned to leave, intending to find Eric and check his situation.

They encountered Kana and the others on the way.

After explaining the situation, they entered the dungeon with Kana and his team.

"Be careful, Getai, don’t stay down there for too long. If you don’t co up within a certain ti fra, I won’t open the door for you anymore.

Because by then, you might also be affected." The Dwarf guarding the dungeon entrance said sternly, with no trace of humor in his tone.

"Got it, let us in."

The Dwarf opened the iron door.

They entered one by one.

As the iron door closed, Kana and the others who entered the dungeon stood still imdiately.

All of them furrowed their brows.

[Status: Praise to the Skull Lord]

[Praise to the Skull Lord: The frenzied aura of the Evil God surrounds, be cautious not to relax your will.

Avoid combat, avoid conflict, or you will fall into a frenzy of bloodshed. You will temporarily lose one point of Spirit.]

Right away, a warning shot.

"Is this... the power of the Evil God? Just getting close to soone affected results in such a situation?" Bobo said, unable to help herself as she looked at the status information.

Getai was a bit curious, "It even displays so clearly? This Blessing is really good."

"Be careful, don’t get emotionally charged," Alyris said to Getai, clearly reminding him.

Upon hearing this reminder, Getai turned his head and glanced at Alyris.

Muttering, "You’re more prone to getting emotional than I am."

Especially when it involves Kana.

Kana observed the situation in the dungeon, surrounded by cell doors made of sturdy steel.

One could see the individuals confined inside through the gaps, clearly ant to prevent the Dwarfs from killing each other. The cells were designed to hold one individual per cell.

"Eric? Are you in there?" Getai shouted directly.

Saying this was unnecessary. The mont he shouted, the sound of pounding on iron doors erupted around them.

"Bang bang!"

"Co fight, I’ll chop off your head!"

"Slaughter, give blood!"

The piercing sounds quickly spread throughout the entire prison.

Stimulated by such sounds, many cells clanged and trembled loudly.

"Here!" Eric’s voice ca from inside.

They quickly covered their ears and rushed down the central corridor.

Truly a bunch of madn.

Kana turned his head to look at each Dwarf inside the cells through the gaps.

Many Dwarfs stared with blood-red eyes, looking wildly outside through the gaps.

So Dwarfs seed still able to suppress their emotions, curled up in corners, only staring with their eyes.

When they reached inside, they saw Eric.

Unlike the other Dwarfs, his condition appeared to be considerably better.

"Getai? Why are you back?"

"I knew you could suppress it, I returned with Kana."

"Kana?!" Eric’s emotions flared montarily, looking outside through the gap.

He just caught sight of Kana.

"Long ti no see, but judging by your condition, it seems I’ve co at a bad ti to visit you," Kana said from outside.

"Yeah, I was saying we’d drink once you ca."

Eric was also sowhat dejected, yet his deanor was markedly better than others.

"Mind chatting with ? You were the first one affected, you must know more," Kana asked.

"No problem."

Eric started narrating his story, from clearing Goblins to witnessing the site of the ceremony.

On the second day after that, during his routine training, he lost control and injured his opponent.

He imdiately realized sothing was wrong with himself, having gone through the plague incident, he was particularly mindful of his ntal state.

After that, it was reported that so Dwarfs started losing their minds during battles or monts of emotional excitent.

It beca clear that the stronger the Dwarfs were and the firr their will, the less they were affected.
