"I heard that there is a ceremony to join, and a vow needs to be made. When will it take place?" The Master of Brewing asked curiously.
Although he was the oldest, he had never seen sothing so novel.
"It will be held shortly after you conduct the spirit comforting ceremony, spread over five days. We will prepare the venue at that ti."
Kana pondered for a mont and replied.
The dwarves had no objections and nodded.
At this mont, Lurik, with a serious expression, looked at Kana and said.
"I hope you can tell us the history we don’t know, about the Gray Mountain Dwarves, about the history of the once Golden Dwarves.
I want to know why the golden blood flowing through us is... Demon’s Blood.
That demon clearly knew us, it ca specifically for us."
Saying this, he looked at Kana: "You should know, right."
With these words, all the dwarves present looked at Kana, their eyes filled with yearning.
Don’t be fooled by how the dwarves seem to have recovered instantly, their expressions and emotions reveal their utter despair.
The collapse of a once-cherished belief, the Golden Blood they adhered to and took pride in, turned out this way.
It was an enormous blow to these dwarves.
Lurik hoped to get a clear answer.
Not just the dwarves, even Alyris and other Night Watchers were equally curious.
No one is unwilling to know about the stories of the past that were unknown.
Kana thought for a mont and nodded.
"That story is quite old, I do not know the details, but I can tell you the general outline."
Hearing Kana’s words, everyone sat up straight.
Lurik even took out a notebook, preparing to record Kana’s words. Afterwards, he intended to reorganize the dwarf history to so extent.
"First, we know that long ago, about a thousand years ago, the dwarves were united.
They lived on the northernmost continent—Tarir, where there’s a mountain range almost spanning the entire continent—the Spine Mountain Range."
This world contains four continents.
Located roughly in a more central area is the Tate Continent. This continent is not the largest, but it certainly has the best land and climatic environnt.
The elves’ main city and principal gathering place are on this continent, one might say this continent is mostly in the hands of the elves.
Then there’s the eastern region, not too far from the Tate Continent, the Lebia Continent.
Bobo, and Half-Elves co from this continent.
There are not too few elves on this continent either.
To the south is naturally the continent where Kana and the others are now located, the Anwein Continent.
This continent is essentially a human territory, except along so coastal areas where elves have no stations or influence.
In the far north is the just-ntioned Tarir Continent, the largest and most remote continent.
The other three continents are relatively close to each other, and due to ocean currents, they can easily engage in overseas exchanges by ship.
"After the dwarves split apart, they were essentially spread across various continents of the world, so even on remote islands.
Though collectively called dwarves, there was practically no main group anymore. They divided into different factions, and their lifestyles greatly varied."
In truth, the Gray Mountain Dwarves aren’t very familiar with this aspect. After their dispersion, they directly moved from the northernmost continent, crossed the sea, and settled at the edge of a peninsula in the southernmost mountainous region.
The population is only about 2000, rely a small faction of dwarves.
Essentially no different from the Safro Kingdom, both are rather insignificant.
Perhaps due to so deliberate ancestral influence and teaching, they also have little desire to communicate externally.
"As far as I understand, the Gray Mountain Dwarves can be pretty much considered the most traditional type of dwarves.
Their main belief is in mountains and the earth, mining ore veins, slting tals, and forging weapons."
"What? Aren’t all dwarves like that?" Getai couldn’t help but say.
He thought dwarves are supposed to be like this! What does it an to be the most traditional dwarves, do modern dwarves not do this?
Well-experienced Bobo couldn’t help but say: "Actually no, on the Lebia Continent, many dwarves engage in business.
There’s even a comrcial alliance of dwarves, with their own currency and largest comrcial bank."
Hearing this, not just the dwarves, even Blake and others twitched twice.
Mainly because it’s too bizarre.
Dwarves in comrce and trade.
A few couldn’t help but look at the surrounding dwarves, shaking their heads, truth be told, it’s hard to imagine such a scenario.
This information made the dwarves present lower their heads in contemplation, have they been isolated in this place for too long?
There’s an almost unacceptable feeling, truly too untraditional.
At this ti, Kana even added: "I even know that in the Magic Council, there’s a magic faction nad Peak Tower.
It’s a magic faction of dwarves, with a total dwarf population of about 20,000 to 30,000, and they have their own Magic City, built on a mountain peak."
Kana’s words made everyone on the scene purse their lips, montarily at a loss on how to respond.
The only feeling was the shock of the news.
