A roadside inn.
This inn is located within the Blood Race Royal Court, which was once the Safro Kingdom.
It stands tall on the black and red earth, towering beside the wilderness road.
Beside it, a few skeletons are impaled on a wooden pole, and a brand-new Blood Race Royal Court flag hangs beside the wooden inn.
A small transport team of the Blood Race is slowly moving on the road, heading towards the inn.
"Let’s take a break up ahead." One of the Blood Race Soldiers said.
Another Knight nodded: "I’m a bit hungry too, hopefully there’s so fresh blood or atballs inside."
"Soone like us can only eat unknown stuff mashed into atballs, the blood is stinky." Another Blood Race Soldier spat on the ground.
The leader, who seed to be their Captain, turned around and scolded: "Enough, stop complaining, better to do more work, you never know when you’ll get promoted."
Upon hearing this, the soldiers behind him looked disdainful.
Yeah, right.
Slowly, they reached the inn.
One soldier shouted: "Where is everyone?"
The Captain keenly sensed sothing was wrong, and pulled out his Weapon with a frown.
Seeing his actions, the other team mbers drew their Weapons as well.
Before they could see what was happening, a gust of wind howled past, kicking up a large amount of dust and sand, causing them to instinctively raise hands to shield.
"Whizz!"
A sharp sound of sothing piercing the air, a Long Spear cut through the air, instantly piercing the Captain’s chest and pinning him to the ground.
The Captain of the Blood Race Soldiers tried to get up imdiately, trying hard to pull the spear from the ground to regain freedom.
However, he heard the sound of hoofbeats.
Just as he turned his head and barely saw the armored horse, his head was chopped off.
As the world spun, he saw the person on horseback.
"A bit weak, chances are there isn’t any Gemstone this ti." Raelia sighed.
The enemies were too weak, so probably they wouldn’t escort such Gemstones.
Since such Gemstones are extrely valuable, both the enemy and they need them.
The ambush ca very suddenly, even though the team quickly raised their guard, they were still mostly wiped out without a chance to fight back.
As those ambushed around rushed out, the team was almost cleaned up without any resistance.
Although Raelia talked idly, she still poked the corpse with the Long Spear.
Flipping back and forth in inspection.
Looking to see if anything was hidden on him.
Searching around, a small package fell down.
"Oh?!" Her voice was high.
This packaging, hidden so thoroughly.
Directly poking it up with the Long Spear, she caught it and opened it, finding a small Gemstone fragnt the size of a fingertip in her hand.
"Hahaha, seems like my luck is good!" She laughed heartily as she held up the Gemstone fragnt.
Blake ca over, took the Gemstone, and after a look he thought it should be similar to what he had seen last ti. The shape was roughly the sa, just the color slightly different.
Thinking a mont, he handed it to Abis.
Abis took it, and covering it with her hand, brought it close to her ear.
"The wind says this is a treasure."
"Then this should be what His Highness wants."
Just as Blake took it back and carefully stored it, George’s voice ca from behind.
"This carriage seems to be full of valuable materials, but so of them I don’t understand."
Upon hearing this, everyone gathered around and uncovered the cloth on the carriage, revealing a large number of strange items inside.
There were tals, unknown gelatinous substances, along with various dried materials and disgusting things soaked in liquids contained in jars.
"These should all be Alchemy materials." Abis said.
She only recognized so of the herbs.
Getai jumped up, looked around, and confird: "Those tals are quite valuable, but they are generally not used for equipnt crafting."
"So we got lucky this ti? Not only did we get the Gemstone but also grabbed a cart of materials."
In previous battles, they didn’t gain anything, not even one piece of equipnt from the enemy had Special Effect, only Ordinary stuff.
However, George poured cold water: "Though it’s true, the Gemstone is fine, but it’s too risky to transport a whole cart of materials."
"That’s true." Raelia slumped again.
Looking at a whole cart of treasures, not being able to take them was truly difficult.
"His Highness has a piece of equipnt to store items, it was cleared when we set out." Blake ntioned.
After thinking for a mont, he said: "Tomorrow is the ti for gathering, if there’s no issue, we will bring this cart of Alchemy materials over."
Everyone nodded in agreent.
...
Elsewhere.
A thunderous sound struck downward from the sky, directly hitting the enemy’s ranks.
A large number of Blood Race Soldiers imdiately fell to the ground, trembling.
Taking advantage of this, the Night Watchers ambushed nearby rushed in.
Yet, there was a Blood Race officer whose strength was obviously much greater, he forcibly broke free from the paralyzing Effect, waving a blood-red Greatsword as he charged.
But waiting for him was Lurik.
Faced with the datafied Lurik, who could receive equipnt effect boosts, this Blood Race officer didn’t manage to gain any advantage.
