East Coast.
The eastern coast of the Safro Kingdom, both the Royal Capital and Sea Cape City are close to this slightly straight coastline, where there are two large ports.
About 20 kiloters northward from Sea Cape City, at the highest point on a coast, there is a massive camp.
The location of the camp is the highest point on this stretch of ocean, allowing a clear view of the sea surface as well as the situation on the hillside behind.
The most conspicuous aspect of the entire camp is undoubtedly that lighthouse, standing at a height of a dozen ters on the highest point of the Sea Cliff, guiding the way for ships in the dark night.
Of course, that was its forr function. Now, apart from the Blood Race's ships, any ship misguided to dare approach would only face two options: beco a Ghoul or beco food.
Around the lighthouse, there are several stone buildings, surrounded by a circle of wooden walls.
Obviously, there are still so troops stationed here.
On the watchtower.
A sentry from the Blood Race seed to sense sothing and looked up into the sky.
At his current height, he could only vaguely see sothing that resembled a bird in the sky. But being able to see it from such a height suggested that the bird's size was absolutely astonishing.
"What kind of bird is that?" asked the Blood Race sentry.
Another soldier on duty with him in the lighthouse looked up, squinted a little, and said offhandedly, "Who knows, maybe it's a dragon or sothing."
Upon hearing such a reply, the sentry said, "Then we can start waiting for our deaths already," laughed, and paid no more attention.
Extending the view into the sky, they could see that the creature they described as a small bird was a Winged Dragon.
Grey Fang was riding on the Winged Dragon, watching the camp below. With excellent vision and his accumulated skills as an aviator over the years, he could easily analyze the layout of the camp below and the troop distribution visible from above.
After circling the area and scouting thoroughly, he departed from the sky above.
For those below of the Blood Race, it was only a seabird hovering up high that left, nothing more, nobody cared.
About 2 kiloters away from the camp on the backside of a slope, there was a dense grove.
Within the forest, Kana and others were hiding and resting.
"How is it?" George asked Grey Fang as he descended.
"Enemies, many, tower, inside building."
He gestured with his hands again: "Turn circles, two."
George easily understood and nodded.
Although Grey Fang didn't have a vast vocabulary, having been with them for quite so ti, progress in language wasn't very smooth.
But he was able to express what he ant with simple words.
George nodded and conveyed to Kana: "There are quite a few enemies in the camp, apart from the lighthouse we see now, there should be so buildings below with people inside.
There are only two patrolling the outskirts; if we handle it carefully, we should be able to launch a stealth attack at night."
After speaking, George turned to Grey Fang and asked: "Is this what you ant?"
Grey Fang nodded, giving a thumbs up: "Good!"
Kana gave a helpless smile: "Since enemy patrols are few, let's move closer to investigate."
Without need for Kana's detailed orders, several Half-Elves nodded and slipped out from the forest.
After a while, the Half-Elves returned with detailed information, one even drew a simple diagram on the ground.
"Patrols are very loose, they seem to have never considered the possibility of an enemy attack."
Upon hearing this report, Kana roughly understood.
"Then we prepare, direct stealth attack at night."
Hide and rest.
Nightfall ca swiftly.
Even towards the seaside, it was still pitch dark.
One could only look far towards the horizon to perhaps see so twinkling stars and the moonlight falling through gaps.
This provided ample convenience for their stealth operation.
The most nurous Dwarves and Kana, they all had a bit of night vision.
The only ones without night vision, the Half-Elves, once slightly accustod, could also roughly see their surroundings.
"Just as we discussed, disperse."
After the command, everyone imdiately scattered.
Forming a semi-surround, they moved towards the camp.
At night, there were still two Blood Race Knights, seemingly patrolling on horseback.
But calling it a patrol, it seed that the Knights patrolling in different directions gathered together, seemingly chatting casually in the dark, and now and then their laughter could be heard.
Relaxed deanor, as though they never considered anyone might attack them.
George glanced toward the lighthouse.
The torch on the lighthouse still burned fiercely, and atop it, there were two sentries scanning, although their gaze seed always towards the sea.
"No Ghouls, no giant bats, seems we can almost confirm that most here are Cultists, perhaps all."
Kana summarized.
It's simple, those with cult beliefs inevitably have issues, seems the Blood King also anticipated and made arrangents before.
Worshiping the Evil God, they couldn't continue commanding the Ghouls and giant bats which are the two most nurous troop types.
