The rest stood behind them.
"Count Vainsha, have you decided to lead your followers and join the Night Watchers with Lake Shore Village?"
Kana asked seriously at the beginning.
Although Lake Shore Village was also built by Kana and his group, and had intricate ties with the Night Watchers,
at least nominally, it was still the Count’s territory.
Facing Kana’s question, the Count nodded.
"As soon as you’re ready, we’ll swear an oath to join the Night Watchers."
Kana nodded in response.
"Then let’s begin the important eting now."
After speaking, Kana knocked on the table with his hand.
"The first matter to decide and discuss is the complete structure of the Night Watchers that we need to build moving forward."
This is the most important issue, and the reason Kana summoned everyone with even a slight position and power within the Night Watchers.
After speaking, Kana stood up directly and pushed a makeshift wooden blackboard over from behind.
So lines and structural nas were drawn on it. George distributed the docunts he had been holding to everyone.
Including those standing behind.
"I believe everyone has an idea of the overall frawork of the Night Watchers, which I have envisioned up until now from the information on the docunts."
Everyone looked at the docunts in their hands.
Aside from Alyris and her group, the others were seeing it for the first ti.
Lurik glanced over with so surprise, not knowing when Kana ca up with all this.
The structure was relatively complete, or rather, a rough frawork had already been completely constructed.
"Firstly, at the top of the Night Watchers is the highest decision-making body - the Torch Council."
Everyone looked at the top of the chart behind Kana and the docunts in their hands.
[Torch Council]
"This council will determine the direction of the Night Watchers’ progress and adjust various major affairs, representing the highest interests of the Night Watchers."
Listening to Kana’s words,
everyone looked at the docunts in their hands.
Smart or not, looking at the docunts, they all felt strange.
They assud the highest leader would be Kana himself.
But it turned out not to be the case.
Even though, without such a council, Kana’s rights and decisions were pretty indisputable.
The existence of such a council would at least spread out Kana’s power.
For Kana himself, this council was also necessary; apart from integrating various interests, it also made it more convenient for him.
Although Kana now had confidence in himself, he truly didn’t understand or was unclear about so basic matters he hadn’t explored in the ga.
Thus, a council to discuss major matters and address key important issues beca a necessity.
Even though this would dilute his power, as long as he held the core authority, everything else wasn’t an issue.
At least for now, the Blessing still had to be perford by Kana.
To so extent, Kana was now the world’s spokesperson, and this role was gradually aligning more closely with reality.
Kana was slowly feeling this.
Even later, Kana was already thinking about how to turn the Blessing into an automated ritual.
By then, he wouldn’t need this to maintain his authority.
Therefore, in summary, such a council was beneficial and essential, both for the entire Night Watchers and for Kana himself.
Seeing that everyone had roughly understood, and sensing soone wanted to speak, Kana tapped on the blackboard behind him.
"We’ll discuss any questions later. Let first explain all the structures."
"Below the council, for military matters, there are three subordinate military organizations: [Night Patrol], [Light Guardian], [Soul Guardian]."
After finishing, Kana briefly explained, "These three military organizations face different situations and possess different military strengths."
If roughly divided into three facets, it would be intelligence reconnaissance, frontal combat, and special operations.
After finishing, Kana continued without giving much ti for thought; there would be ti for mutual discussion later.
"In addition, there are further subordinate organizations, but these aren’t purely military units.
Currently, I’ve envisioned [Great Library], [Alchemy Laboratory], [Comrce Association], [Logistics Departnt]."
These four organizations don’t need much explanation; their nas alone imply their general anings.
Perhaps the only one needing explanation is the [Great Library]."
Kana’s conception for this organization was for various magic professions, and to conduct research on different magic rituals, as well as organize and store intelligence and ancient texts.
"Besides these, there’s one departnt I haven’t fully decided on or conceptualized.
The function of this departnt is to distribute salaries, awards, and penalties to the Night Watchers."
These words stirred so unrest among the attendees, who spontaneously started discussing.
Clearly, even those present had scarcely considered the issue of compensation.
After all, they indeed experienced the miraculous Blessings.
Let alone fighting for the world.
Fighting for the world and then swearing an oath, followed by receiving wages for their actions, seed very strange.
However, Kana didn’t allow much ti for thought after the explanation, sitting down in his place.
He rely outlined the general structure, giving everyone a simple concept in their minds so he could later explain each part slowly.
"Now, you can raise questions and discuss the entire structure."
