So this forest land, even though covered by huge dense trees, still felt the warmth of the sunlight.
Tangled tree roots like woven ropes ford bridges and paths in various places high overhead.
Upon arrival, everyone couldn’t help but turn their heads to observe.
"So kind of relic?" Bobo inquired.
For on many trunks and vines, there seed to be traces of construction, with so stones rged with the vines.
At the bases of many tree trunks, traces of destroyed man-made structures could be seen.
Once, this should have been a city amidst the forest, but it had long been destroyed.
They soon saw what might be their destination.
On the hillside, there was no obstruction from any giant trees.
This hillside, surrounded by giant trees, was bathed in unobstructed sunlight, turning it into a warm golden area.
But on top of the hillside stood a very conspicuous man-made structure, like a wonder.
Unknown power constructed it; it was a place resembling an altar.
Gray-white stone pillars descended from the sky in sunlight.
Intertwining, supporting each other.
The stone pillars built a circular altar, the platform supported mid-air by the pillars.
The once intricate carvings had beco rough under the erosion of ti, obscuring their original form.
Below the altar could be seen Cui Yu’s forr resting place, with a significantly large and neat nest.
Next to the nest, a deep pit collapsed down the side of the hill, with an ominous aura emanating from it.
Even without explanation, everyone knew just by looking there, perhaps below was the sealed and suppressed Void.
Cui Yu stopped.
"This was once a ho for a group of beings, but the Void erged from that pit, destroying it.
