Have the discussions concluded?
What do you an? Maxim and Heiswantha were montarily bewildered.
For a mont, they did not understand what Kana ant by his words.
When did these discussions happen?
Confusion swirled in their minds, but answers eluded them at this mont, and there was no ti to think carefully.
Because Kana spoke.
"Your application to join has been approved. Now, you just need to take the oath and receive the Blessing to officially beco a Night Watcher."
Although unsure why, Maxim and Heiswantha smiled and nodded.
However, Maxim was still more concerned about the "discussion" they had ntioned. He wanted to know what kind of discussion it was.
Before they could ask or ponder, Kana directly and simply asked, "First, you need to make an oath to the world. Do you want to start now or wait?"
"Now, can we start now?" Maxim was a bit surprised. Isn’t this a bit too hasty?
No preparations at all?
Kana shrugged indifferently, "It can be done now. Night Watchers don’t place much emphasis on ceremonial aspects.
What matters is the willingness to pursue the Night Watchers’ ideals and make an oath to resist the apocalypse."
This unexpectedly resonated with Maxim, and he nodded in agreent, "You’re right, many things should be straightforward and efficient, without unnecessary waste."
Clearly, among the Elves, cumberso processes, useless ceremonies, and low efficiency have beco a source of frustration for many ambitious Elves.
"So, shall we do it now?" Kana asked directly.
Maxim nodded, "Of course, no problem, if it’s not too much trouble."
"Then let’s go. Take us to your camp."
Maxim led Kana and the group to the Elves’ camp.
Clearly, many Elves in the camp were waiting for Maxim’s return. Seeing Kana and others behind him, the Elves were both puzzled and sowhat excited.
Maxim was about to step forward and say sothing when Kana patted his shoulder.
Facing his puzzled look, Kana whispered, "Before we begin, I need to lay out so rules. Is that okay?"
Maxim thought for a mont and nodded. After all, he was an Elf and knew Elves’ ways quite well at tis.
Seeing the slightly worried expression on his face, Kana said directly, "Don’t worry, I won’t say anything excessive."
Saying so, Kana walked to the front of the gathered Elves, noticing that so of them were still carrying injuries.
Kana even saw, in the distance, so Elves’ bodies covered with leaves and branches.
The battle against the Void had also cost the Elves greatly.
"First, I must express my condolences for the Elves who sacrificed their lives, just like the Night Watchers who have fallen.
Their sacrifice was for the world, for everyone in this world. It’s worthwhile and they must be called Heroes.
Although there were conflicts when we first t due to differing ways of doing things.
This does not prevent the Night Watchers from offering help upon understanding the ideals of all of you Elves. So we ca here.
To defend your ideals, as well as to fulfill our path.
In these days of battle, we fought side by side to eliminate these Intruders."
When Kana finished speaking, an Elf below shook his head in a self-mocking manner, "Compared to you, we’re far behind. Without your help..."
Clearly, the series of defeats had caused these young Elves to lose much of their previous confidence and pride.
Kana waved his hand to interrupt, "No, that’s not right. I assure you that when facing these monsters invading the world, you did much better than most, even most Elves.
At least your steadfast will in the face of the Void’s erosion is admirable. To date, not a single Elf has willingly turned to the Void out of fear or cowardice."
Here, Kana tapped his head with his finger, "Only the Spirit and Will are our fundantal Powers against these Intruders."
"So, you don’t need to belittle yourselves; you truly deserve to be called the children of Life, aligning with the Elves I know.
Proud, powerful, with unwavering will."
At this point, Kana’s tone suddenly beca serious, with furrowed brows, "Therefore, when facing your application to beco Night Watchers, we agreed.
But there are so things I must say beforehand: the Night Watchers’ organization is not so vast and well-known entity.
From your Elves’ perspective, the inception of this organization is but a fleeting mont.
Yet, our objectives and ideals are grand. I listen to the voice of the world, peering into the impending darkness.
After witnessing those Intruders and the future dark scenes, I established this organization.
To protect the world, annihilate Intruders, and punish all fallen.
Having said that, Kana raised his hand.
The Magic Power in his hand ford into fla, creating a torch symbol above.
"To join the Night Watchers, you must take an oath to the night.
At the mont of making the oath, the gaze of the world will fall upon you, henceforth, you will walk the path of fulfilling the oath.
Any deviation or rebellion will lead to unimaginable fear you will face.
