"Father still refuses?"
Outside the Royal Capital Castle.
A few n were conversing with each other.
Faced with this question, Wolft shook his head.
"Just as we predicted before, father wants to abandon this country."
"What exactly does he want to do?" one man asked in confusion.
If the king wants to abandon this country, he must gain sothing, right? So the question arises: what does he want to gain?
This is presaged but incomprehensible.
"What else could it be, it’s obviously that precious stone of his," another man said nonchalantly.
Indeed, that was the case.
At this point, it’s natural to abandon the country to gain so kind of power from that stone.
Otherwise, it cannot be explained.
"What do you plan to do now? Without the main forces returning to support, the Blood Race’s Royal Court cannot exist."
This question was directed at Wolft.
"Sigh."
Wolft sighed.
He was a bit confused at the mont, unsure how to respond.
That’s how the situation was now.
The issue lay in handling the approaching United Army.
Another man also said, "Recently those cultists have been stirring; they are very dissatisfied with your actions, and you must also be careful.
In front of father... we may not hold that much status."
Wolft nodded.
After so thought, he said, "Let’s act according to the previous plan. Sothing must be left behind."
Hearing this, everyone quieted down.
"And you? My brother."
"Soone has to stay behind; otherwise, it would be too obvious, and there would be guards."
Communicating with Wolft were his siblings.
Also the siblings of Vainsha.
Compared to the younger generation, they, the elder ones, understood more clearly what their father wanted.
So from beginning to end, they remained relatively low-key, having experienced more and therefore understood more.
They were also the first to perceive the signs of sothing wrong with the king.
"The ships should all be ready now, take what you need with you and leave.
You guys... might be the only ones left."
The few of them looked at each other and nodded silently.
"Perhaps we’ll have to beco pirates in the future, hahahaha, how is that different from Martin now?"
One of them said with a laugh.
Everyone laughed and departed.
Only Wolft stayed behind.
Unlike his brothers and sisters, Wolft was the only one among them who had been king.
He had a different emotional attitude toward this country.
...
The Safro Border.
North of Durian City.
Here, it was the rear of the city that had not yet been attacked.
But this fact need not be of concern.
Because the main forces were confronting the main forces from Durian City outside the city.
The surroundings were actually not dangerous.
Since there weren’t enough troops to be on guard outside.
Only occasionally could one see stray Ghouls in the fields.
This was a very normal situation.
After all, these Ghouls only had instincts and were not very intelligent, less so than ordinary hyenas.
They needed higher-ranking Blood Race mbers for control and commands.
Here’s the problem.
Once the number of Ghouls increases, not every Blood Race mber can perfectly control them, leading to occasional minor lapses in Spirit.
These lapses are sotis of no concern.
But the problem lies within this lack of concern.
There will always be so who don’t receive commands, aimlessly wandering the fields until a team passes by and casually pulls them in.
It might sound strange, but that’s how it is.
A Night Watcher squad was performing a "map illumination action" here.
It ans erasing dark areas on the map.
This was not a main action but rather an activity done by Night Watcher squads from ti to ti.
This would lead to Night Watchers roaming the map when there was no pressing matter.
Upon careful inspection of the map, one would find many squads doing the sa.
This particular squad.
Was just an ordinary Night Watcher squad.
A level 5 Captain and a few level 4 team mbers.
Professional Ability, each with their own function, working in harmony.
[There’s a team up ahead, marked in red]
An Assassin-type Ranger said in the channel.
After all, this was enemy territory, so they were spread very far apart.
They couldn’t see each other’s figures, but they shared intelligence over the channel.
Other team mbers looked at the map and also saw the red dots on it.
[There’s sothing off, this team feels a bit strong and... sowhat familiar.]
As the captain, Robbie looked at the information in the channel and frowned.
[Familiar?]
[Yes, I’ve seen these people sowhere before, but I can’t quite rember where.]
[I’ll have soone else check it out.]
Robbie said while sending another teammate in the channel to investigate.
The information soon ca back.
[I rembered who they are. They seem to be from Giant Rock City, the ones who were chasing us around before.]
The one speaking was a Dwarf.
Among the earliest Night Watchers, such individuals were now rare, yet Robbie’s team happened to have one, since Robbie himself had participated as well.
Possibly compared to the Dwarfs, his mory wasn’t as good.
To so extent, Dwarfs have excellent mories, especially if they hold a grudge; they’ll rember you for a lifeti.
The pursuers from the Giant Rock Layer matched this criterion.
[Does this team have any purpose? Can it be seen?]
[They seem to be escorting sothing... they’re definitely cultists.]
There are a lot of cultists among the Blood Race, but you can’t assu all mbers of the Blood Race are cultists because of this.
To so extent, you can only cut one down and see if it gives any Experience to judge.
After many battles in such situations.
So Night Watchers could simply sense whether certain Blood Race mbers were cultists.
Never underestimate a Night Watcher’s intuition.
Especially regarding cultists.
Experienced individuals have a success rate of over 90%.
Those who aren’t cultists are often in the process of corrupting.
It’s an indescribable feeling, perhaps due to having made an oath and so systematic reasons.
Or maybe the Evil God’s Power is increasingly invading.
In any case, seeing a cultist makes one’s heart feel uneasy.
[Co back, I have sothing for you guys.]
Quickly, this Dwarf arrived beside Robbie, and Robbie handed him a cylindrical Gemstone from his waist.
This Dwarf was knowledgeable. Seeing the focused Gemstone made his eyes light up, knowing what he had to do.
Holding the Gemstone, he quickly slipped away.
[It lit up.]
A big catch.
Robbie thought to himself.
