Rita Enke, his eyes still vigilant.

"Are you from the Safro Kingdom? How do you know about these things? Even clearer than us?"

After speaking, Rita Enke looked at Lurik, his tone serious yet curious, "Yata, why, why do you trust a human so easily?"

In his view, this was extrely strange, the human’s behavior was highly suspicious.

"The behavior of this human makes even suspect that the so-called plague curse might be manipulated by him behind the scenes."

Rita Enke spoke without hesitation.

"Shut up, Grey Mountain would not treat friends this way."

But clearly, this dwarf nad Rita Enke held a different status compared to Getai and these dwarves.

Faced with Lurik’s words, he wasn’t afraid, and instead frowned and argued, "This matter is so serious! Why trust a human so easily?

What you’ve experienced and seen along the way might have been his actions to win your trust.

This is really too coincidental."

Saying this, he pointed at Getai, "This fool drank too much and was captured by goblins, and conveniently rescued by this human.

Then coincidentally encountered a situation, ca back and conveniently found you helpless, leading you to find this human.

Moreover, the human just happens to know so much, don’t you think it’s too much of a coincidence? You have been fooled, Yata."

Their argunt caused Getai to begin pondering beside them.

"It is indeed a coincidence, but I trust Kana is not an evil person."

"You trust?" Rita Enke was troubled by no one getting angry, pointed at Getai and cursed, "You big lump, you were captured by goblins, what good is your trust?"

Getai’s face turned red with anger, yet he couldn’t find a reason to refute for a mont. The matter of being captured by goblins was the strongest weapon against him for everyone.

"Those aren’t ordinary goblins, so many of these sick patients have been cursed by that group of goblins.

If it weren’t for Getai, you wouldn’t even know why you are cursed, you have no reason to use this matter against him."

Kana said softly beside him.

Hearing Kana speak up, Rita Enke glared at him with unfriendly eyes, "Human, don’t think you can blind my eyes, I am a warrior of the mountain, your every conspiracy will be crushed into powder."

"Shut up, you short fool, how dare you be so disrespectful to the prince!" Alyris erupted, drawing her sword and standing in front of Kana.

The reddened veins had begun to spread around her neck.

Her eyes already bore a crimson glow.

The entire scene suddenly beca tense, the surrounding sick dwarves, who had been listening to their quarrel, began to look for weapons.

"Enough!"

"Boom!"

A roar filled with thunderous rage.

Lurik was already wrapped in electric light, having smashed his long-handled warhamr that matched his height onto the ground.

The powerful flashing electric light on his body caused all the dwarves to back down.

Kana also reached out and held Alyris.

Bobo was clearly angry too, glaring at the dwarf, muttering, "I should write about Grey Mountain Dwarves in a book, these dwarves actually treat soone trying to help them like this."

As the scene quieted down, Lurik then said, "I trust him, and I will guarantee his friendship in the na of Grey Mountain."

Rita Enke shut his mouth but continued to look at Kana with unfriendly eyes, evidently still very cautious about him.

But when Lurik said this, he could only nod, "The will of the mountain."

Other dwarves also bowed their heads and said, "The will of the mountain."

"Alright, you rest well, we’ll head out first."

After speaking, Lurik led the group out of there, heading to the command room of the stone tower.

This appeared to be Rita Enke’s office.

Besides Rita Enke, Lurik called in several other dwarves.

Picking up the mountain map, he said, "Besides the Flat-top Peak outpost, the surrounding four outposts have tribesn cursed with plague.

Last night we crawled out from a pit 100 ters away from this outpost, leading from the Goblin Cave at the foot of the mountain directly to here, so close to the outpost yet no one discovered it!"

As he spoke, Lurik seed to grow angry again, just a re 100 ters, basically right under their noses.

Rita Enke lowered his head and said, "It’s my fault, I arranged the patrol to start a mile away from the watchtower.

Never imagined there would be enemy-dug tunnels so close."

Kana silently watched him from the side, probably already knowing Rita Enke’s approximate position.

Not unexpectedly, all the dwarves in the northern part of the mountain fall under his jurisdiction.

He just proclaid himself as a warrior of the mountain, which is both a profession and a title of honor.

Arguably the bravest among the warriors.

A high status, but the problem is Kana didn’t know him.

Soone of such status in the ga Kana could not possibly not know, not be familiar with, or have never heard of.

Getai as an ordinary dwarf not having been heard of by Kana seems normal, considering there are a thousand or two dwarves here.

Lurik being a high-status dwarf, although Kana didn’t recognize him at first glance, after conversing and knowing his na, he recalled.

Yet this Rita Enke, until now Kana hadn’t rembered any information about him.

Which ans, at least after the plot begins, this dwarf may already be gone, highly likely sacrificed.

The eting continued.

"Now, check all surroundings of the watchtowers thoroughly, find all the tunnel entrances leading to the bottom of the mountain.

I will summon more warriors, it’s ti for these damned followers of the Evil God to taste the mountain’s will."

All the dwarves nodded, took orders, and walked out.

Rita Enke cast one last cold glance at Lurik, "May the mountain bless you, be wary of plots."

After saying this, he didn’t wait for a response and walked out, casting a look at Kana as he passed and made a snort.

Brushed past.

Lurik sighed, looked at Kana apologetically, "Apologies, my friend, Rita Enke is a Guardian, a warrior of the mountain, please forgive his rudeness.

He must keep enough vigilance to guard Grey Mountain, believe later he will feel ashad for his foolish words."

Confronted with Lurik’s apology, Kana didn’t mind, and instead smiled, "He may not feel ashad for his words."

"What?"

Kana looked at his status bar.

[Status: Corruption Mark]

[Corruption Mark: You’ve been marked by followers of the Corrupt Monarch, when battling followers of the Corrupt Monarch, the mark could be triggered, thereby receiving a plague curse.]

This is interesting, no wonder this na wasn’t heard of in the subsequent ti.

No wonder this matter wasn’t much heard of among the dwarven tribe.
