In the snowy mountain hollow.

Raelia leaned close to the campfire and asked, "What did Kana say?"

Abis glanced at Terger and spoke with a puzzled look, "You’re an Ice Elent Mage, right?"

Terger nodded, "I do major in elents—cold."

"Then can’t you stop the snowstorm?"

"Huh? ?!" Terger pointed at himself.

This is expecting way too much, there’s no way he could stop a blizzard like that.

That would need to be done by a renowned Great Mage; before that, one would at least have to learn the large-scale spell Blizzard, perhaps it might be possible then.

He is still so distance away from mastering Blizzard; even though he’s researched it before, stopping such an outrageous storm is beyond him.

If he could do sothing like this, he wouldn’t have nearly died to those Yetis before.

He quickly waved his hand, "No way, no way, I couldn’t possibly do such a thing."

"What if it’s just stopping or weakening a small area of the snowstorm, at least enough for us to pass through?"

Though Abis is employed as a Mage, her actual profession is a Priest.

Despite years of studying mage-related literature and knowledge, deep understanding isn’t so easy.

However, she knows that to so extent, this might be feasible.

This knowledge cos from Maxim, a Three-Elent Mage, whose understanding in this area should be trustworthy.

Moreover, she just inquired about it on the channel.

Being able to quickly exchange information and intelligence like this is really great; support in terms of intelligence and knowledge to solve current challenges is readily available.

Terger opened his mouth to refuse but couldn’t help but consider this possibility.

Honestly, it’s not impossible.

But saying it and actually doing it are worlds apart; he hasn’t reached that level of skill yet.

Thinking it over, he could only shake his head.

"Not likely, though your thod is feasible to so extent, it depends on my understanding of this snowstorm.

But this is simply impossible unless I have extre sensitivity to the magic power flow of this blizzard.

How could I possibly achieve that?

Only by eting these two conditions could I potentially open a feasible path for our progress."

He explained so much.

Abis furrowed her brows then said, "What if I can sense it? If I can precisely feel the flow direction and nodes, and mark them for you, can you do it?"

"Can you do it?" Terger was a bit surprised.

Is this sothing one can do casually?

"If it’s really precise and we practice coordinating a bit, there’s a possibility."

That’s all he could say, not daring to boast unduly.

"Then let’s give it a try."

Abis decisively stepped out from the rock face: "Let’s test it in this area by the entrance."

With that, she blinked, focusing her attention on the identification of the magic power flow.

Instantly, her world turned gray and white.

Only the flow of magic power gradually beca clearer in the air, with the ice elents mixed in the frenzied snowstorm clearly visible.

"There." Abis shouted.

In a certain area in the snow and ice, a point of light flickered.

That was a beam of light magic cast by Abis, used for regional positioning.

"Huh?" Terger was taken aback.

Weren’t you just starting to observe? How have you already determined it?

Who blinks and looks twice to discover it? Shouldn’t you perform deep ditation and then make arrangents?

He always thought that in terms of difficulty, Abis’s task was much harder.

Why does it seem so easy for her?

"It shifted, it’s here now."

Abis continued without interruption, focusing intently on observing the nodes.

The light spot shifted place again.

Terger couldn’t care much about it now and started opening his palms to control.

He couldn’t see or feel it, he could only control it as if simulating the flow, directing it towards the position of the light spot.

This control was akin to squeezing the magic power, curbing its excessive frenzy.

Natural elents have varying degrees of activity.

A snowstorm like this is the pinnacle of active behavior, so focusing just on lowering the control is enough.

With his control, the area appeared to genuinely weaken.

"It’s moved."

Following Abis’s reminder, he imdiately shifted his control of power.

This was sowhat challenging and strenuous for him, but he could only grit his teeth and try.

With practice, the snowstorm at their entrance seed genuinely weakened, with the wind blowing in less intensely.

It wasn’t so cold anymore.

"Hmm, it seems to be working." Raelia shouted.

"I, I can’t do it anymore, I need to adapt a bit." Terger quickly said.

It was only then they stopped.

Abis appeared a bit relaxed, after all, she only needed to identify, provide so attention.

With the skill of Identification, the consumption was not large, even considered easy.

"Since it’s feasible, let’s practice more."

And so, they started training.

Roughly by the second day.

Terger already began keeping up with Abis’s shifting speed.

But once they moved, it beca a hassle.

So practice was still needed.

The snowstorm had no intention of stopping, it’s already the third day.

By the fifth day.

The snowstorm instead intensified, seemingly realizing they hadn’t left, becoming more fierce.

By this ti, Terger could already start moving.

"Co on, it’s ti to cross this area."

The group gathered together, beginning to move forward.

One light spot after another flickered around them.

With the flickering spots, Terger had no choice but to raise his hands repeatedly to control.

Moving slowly along with the others.

Fortunately, he walked in the middle, shielded from the snowstorm by everyone, allowing him to catch his breath sowhat.

They just slowly moved forward.

After almost an hour of arduous struggle, they seed to have finally crossed the snowstorm’s blockade.

It felt like passing through a barrier, as they crossed, the snowstorm rapidly weakened.

Forming a wall of snowstorm behind them.

"Phew! Phew!"

Terger knelt on the ground as soon as he got out, face covered in sweat, dripping onto the snow.

"We actually did it, really... aweso, ahead, ahead is the destination?"

He was a bit excited.

About to see the thing he’s been pursuing.

"Soon." Annabelle said.

As soon as this was said, Raelia and the others turned to her.

"What’s with the look? We’re really close!"

Unhappy with the suspicion from her teammates, she shouted loudly.

"Rumble rumble!"

"The sound." Grey Fang activated its hearing.

Everyone imdiately quieted down.

The rumbling sound didn’t cease.

"Run quickly! It’s an avalanche!"

Massive piles of snow on their side began collapsing, rushing towards them.

Grey Fang leapt onto the shivering winged dragon beside them without hesitation.

Grabbing the kneeling Terger, flying into the sky.

Raelia and the others frantically ran forward.
