Inside the cave.

An alchemy furnace sat in the center, providing warm flas, with a pot above it stewing food.

Around the furnace, Kana and others were resting.

anwhile, Linda the fairy flitted around the cave, flying back and forth among the group.

She seed never to tire, brimming with energy.

Hard to believe she had just been freed from a state of petrification.

Yet she seed to be pestering everyone.

Every now and then, she’d bombard them with questions, without any regard for courtesy or privacy.

The most irked of them all was, of course, Bobo.

Every now and then, she would poke this or tug on that.

This ti, she lay on Alyris’s armor and knocked on it with her head.

It made a loud banging sound.

She then touched her forehead, where a bruise was visibly swelling.

"Ouch, it’s so hard."

"Kana, do sothing about her; she’s your creation," Bobo shouted from across.

Kana laughed and said, "It’s fun, isn’t it?"

"What’s fun about it!"

Seeing that the group could hardly withstand her antics, Kana had to beckon Linda over.

With this gesture, Linda flew over, looking curiously at Kana.

Only then did everyone realize that since she’d erged, Linda had bothered everyone but Kana.

"I’m Kana."

"Kana!" Linda shouted in response.

Then she quietly settled on Kana’s shoulder, lightly humming while swinging her legs.

She surprisingly cald down.

Totally unlike her earlier noisy self.

"She’s finally acting like the kind of friend I wanted as a child," Alicia remarked.

To little girls, fairies in fairy tales have always been their dream friends.

The dream almost shattered just now.

"Why is she so quiet next to you?"

Bobo was puzzled.

Kana shrugged with a smile, "Because we’re friends, right?"

Linda nodded on his shoulder, "Yes, friends."

Faced with everyone’s gaze, Kana explained, "Well, it’s actually because of the world’s different focus.

What do you think a fairy is like as a creature?"

Lululuse thought for a mont and said, "I used to think they were made-up beings from fairy tales, but now that they’re real, maybe they have so of the abilities from the stories."

In various fairy tales, fairies are mostly linked with nature.

So can manipulate flowers, others vines, living in harmony with natural elents in forests and other environnts.

They seem to have magic-like control over elents, but only natural materials, and in a non-destructive way.

For instance, fire never appeared in the stories, nor was it wielded by fairies.

In simple terms, a fairy seems like a fictional being representing nature.

Like many beings truly imagined in stories.

But this touches on Kana’s knowledge gap; he didn’t grow up in this world and naturally doesn’t know these so-called fairy tales.

"The essence of fairies has so similarities to Cui Yu, this World Giant Beast.

They can all be called the Child of the World."

Everyone listened intently.

Only Linda swung her legs, lightly humming, seemingly indifferent to the conversation.

"World Giant Beasts can be said to represent various natural materials closely related to the world.

The beasts manage and maintain the balance of the world like they’re managing on behalf of their mother.

Fairies and beasts essentially share the sa duties, only beasts oversee the balance of the material world, while fairies govern the spirit.

Compared to their elder siblings, fairies appeared sowhat later, originating from the ergence of life in this world.

As life erged, the spirit realm began to form, distinct from the physical world.

This led to the birth of the first fairies; as life proliferated, more fairies began to appear, organizing the spiritual realm, ensuring it wasn’t entirely chaotic, and maintaining an order akin to the material.

However, due to fairies’ capricious nature, they sotis appear in the dreams of various creatures.

Occasionally glimpsed in reality by life, but they quickly disappear.

Thus, only stories and legends remain.

When a fairy appears in the spiritual world of dreams, it signifies that a dream, ant to dissipate like mist in a breeze, becos solidified.

It becos easier for the dreaming creature to vividly rember it, rather than having it fade swiftly upon waking.

After this simple explanation.

Kana looked at Linda on his shoulder.

"Linda, I want to visit the Fairy Garden, to visit a friend’s ho, and bring my friends along."

At these words, everyone around couldn’t help but hold their breath.

Linda remained as easygoing as ever.

"Sure, let’s go then."

With that said, she flew toward the cave exit without hesitation.

"Leaving now?" Her decisiveness puzzled the group.

"Let’s go." Kana was sowhat helpless.

The group quickly gathered their things and followed after her.

However, sothing seed off.

The fairy leading them seed unfamiliar with the way, occasionally turning left or right. Then after pausing to scratch her head, she’d backtrack.

Like she was lost, exuding an unreliable aura.

She wandered around in a large circle.

"I feel like I’m being played," Miguel West remarked.

The group agreed.

But since Kana kept following without saying a word, they naturally believed they were indeed progressing toward their goal.

After all, it’s said to be a spiritual entity and overseer; perhaps getting lost and looping is normal in the material realm.

They andered until late into the night.

They were still circling the area around the cave.

Turning left, turning right, and then retracing.

Finally, the fairy guiding them stopped.

"Are we there?" Alyris asked, puzzled.

Because she felt they’d been to this spot several tis already.

Right then, they heard Linda’s voice.

"How do we get ho? I forgot the way."

So she really was lost!

Even though it felt like they were lost, the group never seriously considered this was the case.

It turned out they truly were lost.

Everyone turned their eyes to Kana.

Kana awkwardly coughed.

"After being petrified for so long, it’s possible to forget the way, right?"

How could he have guessed, given the looping suited a fairy’s style?

"Hehe, hahaha!"

Linda laughed as she looked at them.

She t their gaze.

"Fooled you, didn’t I!"
