Tavor's brass pipe lightly tapped a hollow stone slab. Amid the puzzled glances of everyone, he smiled, revealing that old rotten tooth.

"Twenty-two steps southeast, three moss-covered stones," the old man muttered, walking to a specific spot, prying a seemingly unremarkable mud stone slab with a broken sword.

Upon hearing this, everyone ca to their senses, hurriedly fumbling to push the heavy stone slab aside, which landed with a loud thud.
Underneath, a board-covered entrance was revealed. Was this a cellar for hiding things?
Eagerly, the old man lifted the cellar cover. Dust and a moldy sll drifted out, though mixed with a hint of cured at fragrance.
They were so hungry that even the faint scent was keenly discerned by them.
Toby did not act first.
Zahanu was the first to dive into the cellar, more eager than the others.
"Let him go first; he's surely better than you in a fight, young man." The old man blocked Toby with his pipe.

He ca out hugging a blackened ham and several bottles, even finding a few swords wrapped in oilcloth, looking satisfied.
"Ham, rum! Isn't this a curved saber? There's definitely supplies from the ship here." Toby cheered excitedly.
Swade couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.
Everyone hurried to a structurally intact building to start replenishing food.
For a ti, conversation decreased, leaving only the sounds of eating and drinking.
"Ah~ Comfortable." Lisa Lisa flopped down ungracefully.
Suddenly, rustling sounds erged.
Three ratman scouts sprang from the reed clump by the wall's hole.

Swade's curved saber was just unsheathed when Zahanu threw a dagger, piercing the last ratman's tail precisely.
Toby, startled by the sudden attack, paused for a mont, then reacted by picking up a nearby rock and throwing it at the ratn.
Luck or skill—it hit the fastest ratman squarely on the head.
This strike caused the ratman's weapon to veer, chopping the floor instead, sparing Lisa Lisa.
"Nicely done." Swade strode over, swung his curved saber, and cleaved the fallen ratman's head.
The ratman's head was completely severed, a stinking blood splattered everywhere.
Lisa Lisa, once reacting, kicked the second ratman away.
"Daring to ambush at this ti, you reckless bastard!"
Agilely, Lisa Lisa crossed a few steps and raised her leg high, striking down hard.
Her heel instantly smashed the ratman's brains out.
"Ugh!"
Living freely on the ship, without suffering abuse, she's hardly a helpless noblewoman.
Zahanu quickly dealt with the ratman he targeted.
The old man, having packed, urged the group: "We need to leave quickly, the enemy's here, aning there must be camps or strongholds around. Maps don't mark such places; we may have trespassed their territory."

A slender greatsword swung continuously, slicing incoming rats with armor and all into fragnts. Blood spread everywhere.
"Chaotic Snake Thunder Continuation!" Vier shouted, raising her tal magic staff high.
A bolt of lightning struck the ground, dispersing into countless tendrils, chaotically moving everywhere.
"Ahhh!"
The rats scread, electrocuted, then fell paralyzed.
"Woohoo, always a thrill watching this move!" Tyr joyfully called, clad in heavy armor, wielding a giant heavy hamr, jumping from the land bird, swirling his hamr.
Under the hamr, explosions sounded like bursting waterlons, at and blood splattering everywhere.
"Damn it, stay away from us!" Yorndaren shouted angrily, face sared with nauseating rat remains.
Cleaning lightly with a spell, Yorndaren resud his arrow shooting, occasionally using a lengthy magic-powered firearm, firing frantically.
Ratman priests and commanders, unexpectedly hit in the head, exploded suddenly.
"Quick and decisive, our target lies in this area; it requires ticulous work to clear all the rats."
"I love this talk." Bi'an, the half-demon, grinned, disappearing into shadows.
Little did they know, elsewhere, ordinary people with slight combat abilities were fiercely pursued by rat swarms.
Enduring a siege they shouldn't, an early taste of potential Night Watcher life.
