Ecunopolis 1: Hyllus building
Valerica was in a eting with her mbers of the board. They were mostly family, cousins, so close family friends and wealthy business partners. The usual for Noble families private business'.
"So, with the forr head of this branch out of the family, I propose my sister's grandson Ryan take over this branch temporarily. He is young, only twenty seven, but he has been in all the top business schools and passed his exams years before they needed to be taken. I think with supervision he could-"
Suddenly a chiming went off within the room causing Valerica to frown. "I said no communicators!" She yelled and stared at everyone, waiting to punish whoever had one. This was an important eting after all. If sothing got leaked, it would be bad.
As the ringing carried on, she beca aware that the ringing was coming from behind her? In her coat pocket. Valerica frowned, that communicator was for threats to the entirety of Spartari, for when war councils were called.
As she picked it up with a worried expression, she answered. "This is Valerica Hyllus." Her voice dripped with a silent seriousness that had the others in the room concerned. "Hey Valerica, it's ."
In a total 180, the biggest smile anyone had ever seen from the forr head of the Hyllus family blood across her face as she scread with delight. "Apollo! Is that really you! Oh my baby, I am so happy to hear your voice!"
I smiled hearing her delight to hear from , it left feeling warm inside. "Yeah it's . Are you busy?" Valerica sat down in her chair and put her feet up on the table. "No, nothing important, just a thing at work, I'll just blow it off. When are you back ho? Are you already back ho? Kathrine told she would tell when you got back. Has my kitten been keeping you all to herself? I'm going to kill her!"
"Woah, Valerica take it easy haha." I chuckled at her intensity. "No, I'm not back. I'm on my way back, but I have run into so trouble, which Is why I need your help." Valerica suddenly beca incredibly defensive as she stood up she slamd her fist down on the table, breaking it as she growled.
"Who has hurt you? I will break the fucker over my knee then burn them at the stake! I am a guardian, I can do it publicly without repercussions!" She exaggerated, mostly... "No it's nothing like that. We were running out of fuel on the way back and stopped by Hailey's checkpoint to refuel, but she apparently finished her rotation and the new centurion has seized my ship 'until further notice' so I'm stuck here. I think she might have a rivalry or sothing with Hailey and after finding out about from the troops is using to get at her because I'm Hailey's friend."
There was a pause for a mont as I assud Valerica was thinking. I was right as a few seconds later she replied. "Ok my darling boy, can you call back in ten minutes? I will call in a couple of favours and get you off that rock and back into my loving embrace. Talk soon, I love you so much!"
After hearing say goodbye, she forgave for not saying 'I love you too' She will get his love from him later. She then hugged the communicator close to her heart, so glad that he called her before using the sa communicator to ring a certain friend of hers.
She stood up as it was ringing and left for the door. "Hey, Hecate, glad you are finally awake, you old bat. Listen, I need a favour and I need it-" The door suddenly slamd shut behind her leaving behind a group of stunned individuals. "I guess we resu the eting later?"

I called back Valerica ten minutes later and she instructed . "Ok Apollo, I need you to go outside near your ship and fire a pulse of Psionic energy into the air. Once you have done that, my friend shouldn't take long to find you. She will sort everything out. ok?"
I nodded, even though she couldn't see . "Ok, thank you Valerica. I'm looking forward to giving you your present. I will see you in a couple of days. Bye."
After ending the call, I was not aware that Valerica was now expecting two portions of love when we reunited and made my way to do as she asked.
Making my way outside, the deputy was standing there, walking back and forth, biting his nail. When he noticed , he jolted and ran over, assuming the worst. "Archon Apollo. Forgive , but I cannot let you back onto your ship. Please understand, we don't want to have to detain you.
From behind , both Keyla and Orchid snorted derisively at the comnt. After turning around and giving them the eye, I turned back and replied to the deputy. "We aren't here to board my ship. Regulations are regulations. I am here to fire so Psionic energy up into space."
"What?" The deputy said, baffled. "Sir, I cannot allow that either. What if it's retaliation? I cannot give you permission to do that." I blinked at his statent before asking. "Would it assure you if I gave permission for you and a couple of your friends to hold weapons upon my body as I do so? That way if it was an attack I was doing, you could stop it."
"No, that is um... Well, If you are willing to put yourself in harm's way to guarantee our safety, I suppose... Just. Just don't tell the Centurion ok?" I smiled and gave my word and the Deputy ca back with two other guards who were confused.
"So what? We just stand here until you are done with your magic?" One asked. "Yeah pretty much. Should literally take five seconds." I replied, causing the second one to counter ask. "How do we tell if your magic is a threat?"
To that, I smiled. "Because if my 'magic' was a threat, you wouldn't see it coming." I said with a chilling smile before laughing jovially. "All right let's do this. Weapons up." With the guards feeling safe, I reached my hands up and channelled a small ball of neutral Psionic energy before simply shooting it up into the air, past the do.
I had no idea what I was doing so I put my hand back down as the three individuals holding their weapons ends against my body were still looking up. "Ok, all done." I said, causing the three to look at confused.
"That's it?"-"Yep."-"What did you even do?"-"No idea, but I think it was a flair."-"That was a bumr."-"Most Psionics are. It's not all fireballs and lightning after all." Just as I finished saying that, A rift about ten feet tall opened up ters away from , causing the three present to aim their weapons towards it. The deputy gave a look and I just shrugged my shoulders. "This isn't ."
From the rift, a figure appeared . The figure was a woman who appeared to be 6ft3 and looked around with a sort of isolated serenity about her. What really took my intrigue to the next level was that the woman was clearly floating above the ground.
She was wearing a luxurious woven blue robe that accentuated her curves and revealed her open cleavage. She wore a necklace with blue gemstones and a pair of sandals that matched her entire ensemble.
The woman herself was radiant. She had a mix of jet black hair with streaks of blue running throughout that she left wavy with braids mixed in throughout the ocean. Her features seed ethereal and quiet. She had bright blue eyes that held a depth of knowledge behind. She had high cheekbones, round, bouncy lips, sharp eyebrows and a soft, yet sharp chin.
She seed detached from the world as she fully erged through the portal, until she looked directly at and spoke in a soft whisper that could be heard no matter the distance. " You must be Apollo? I am Hecate, I was-"
"Oh Hecate? I rember Valerica telling about you!" She called you a hot head, though that doesn't seem to be the case." My comnt seed to snap the vail on her façade, the etherealness of her presence disappearing as she stopped floating and proceeded to shout. "She said what about ! Oh that little..."
A smile returned to her face as she looked at . "No matter. I am sure my forr student and I will be having words later. Once again I am Hecate, and you are Apollo? Valerica tells you require aid-Wait!"
I was suddenly without warning in the air upside down as This Hecate woman began looking at my body like she was reading sothing off it. A few monts later she gasped, put down and took a few steps backwards before asking shocked.
"How. How have you had multiple Psionic awakenings at such a young age!"
