It was seven days until Apollo went away to the college. Janine was incredibly nervous. She had been forgoing telling Apollo about her change as she didn’t want anything to change. She loved Apollo, even when she didn’t feel the way she does now she loved him.
She loved their rapport, how they acted so carefree around one another. Janine didn’t want that to change. He was her best friend. What if admitting her feelings to him and going behind his back to have her genes altered would make him angry at her?
The very thought was enough of a blow to her heart. so if it actually did happen... Janine couldn’t comprehend how she would cope. However, Apollo was about to leave again. She couldn’t sit on this information until the next ti they spoke, it would eat her alive.
Janine had gotten herself dressed up. She was wearing the white dress she bought recently, she was wearing her necklace Apollo had bought her and had Talia do her makeup once again.
"Honestly babes, I don’t know how you can sit on it like this. It takes my everything not to beg him to fuck every ti I see him." Talia said as she was brushing in Janine’s highlights.
"Well, Apollo and I are still friends first as far as he is concerned. I am just so nervous. I both do and don’t want things to change. Honestly if I could just stay by his side, I won’t feel the need to tell him. I am fine with unrequited feelings. I care about him so much after all."
Talia shook her head at her friend’s comnt. Even if Janine had whatever weird thing done to her reversed, she is still a really weird Sepiida. After so final touches, Talia smiled. "All done. Are you going straight up there now?"
Janine sighed heavily. "Yeah... While I would prefer to do it with so liquid courage, I think Apollo would just assu I was being slutty drunk again. Nah I’ll go now, he doesn’t usually fuck during the day so I am less likely to interrupt anything."
Janine then stood up to go look at herself in the mirror. She proceeded to take several large deep breaths before nodding her head in affirmation to herself. "Ok, I am going. Wish luck!" Janine said, causing Talia to yell. "Good luck! Don’t forget to encourage Apollo to invite your sister into the fold once you have established yourself!"
Janine laughed at Talia, her tension lding away for a mont before swiftly returning. Janine then left her room and made her way to the elevator. She didn’t wait long until the door dinged open and as she was about to step in, she suddenly went.

"Oh!" Janine said as she looked up at . "Hey Janine, are you free for a mont? Or are you going out? I need to talk to you about sothing." She was dressed up and was looking very pretty right now, so if she was going sowhere, I would need to be quick.
Janine seed to pause a mont as she looked up at before replying. "No, I am not going anywhere, Talia was just relentless about dressing up again and I had nothing else going on. Please, co in." She said, waving her arm behind her cordially.
As I entered the apartnt, I began making my way to the couch with a binder under my hand when I spotted Talia. She was wearing a very familiar shirt that dropped off her shoulder and acted like a dress for her. She entered the living room from the bedroom holding a rather large cake with a fork sticking out of the top.
She didn’t seem to notice at first. But as she walked past perpendicular to where I was standing, she stopped after a few steps and sniffed the air like a hound. She then pulled MY shirt up to her nose and sniffed confused before turning around. most likely to discover the scent source and suddenly beca wide eyed upon seeing .
With what she was wearing and what she was holding, this is not how Apollo was supposed to see her! "KIYAAAHHHH!!" A high pitched scream suddenly threatened to blow up my ears. "Apollo! Don’t look! Don’t look! Don’t look!" She scread over and over as she ran into the bedroom, most likely to get changed.
I had a smile on my face watching that bit of entertainnt, but another question arose. "Seriously, where did she get that shirt? I put it in the wash myself... I am just going to have to start buying disposable clothes at this point whenever I am here..."
I then made my way to the couch and sat down. "So." I started, but paused as Janine was standing a bit of a distance away. "Janine? Is sothing wrong? Co sit down." I said, patting the cushion next to .
Even then, Janine stayed motionless for a mont before sothing spurred her on. "Apollo, there is sothing I need to tell you." She said as she walked forward with determination. "Oh really? Well, so do I. Is your news good, bad or neutral?" Janine’s montum was suddenly halted by that question. "Um, what?" She asked.
"Well, I am of the following that good news should always be told first. So co on, is what you want to tell good, bad or neutral?" Janine stamred out so vocalisations for a mont before replying. "Neutral?" though her tone seed unsure of itself as she said it.
"Ok, then. Well, plant that gorgeous ass here and listen to what I have to say first then." I said with a smile and watched as Janine moved to sit next to . She sat right next to and I took that as assuming she wanted a cuddle, so I wrapped my arm around her waist, causing her to jolt in surprise.
I smiled at her startled expression, but didn’t comnt on it, I was excited to give her the good news. "So, as you know. I am going away to the College of Psionics next week." Janine nodded her head. "How could I not? It’s all everyone is talking about around here."
"Mhm, well as you know. You are technically my Sepiida. And I have been looking into the rules of the college and it states that those who have Sepiida are allowed to bring one with them to the college to see to their needs. And while I don’t need you for anything like that, I thought that maybe considering you are Psionic, you would be interested in going with ?"
Janine looked up at shocked, her eyes wide and moist. "W-What?" She mumbled to herself, though I heard it. "Yeah, think about it." I said opening the binder I brought with to a page with a list of classes. "With you being able to attend classes as my ’servant’ You would also be getting an education on how to train your Psionics, because let’s face it, I suck at teaching. With this loophole, you would be the first Sepiida, while not publicly, to have a Psionic education from the college. How cool is that?"
Janine blinked in surprise. This... Isn’t what she had suspected at all. How could she have? With a smiley slowly creeping onto her face, she asked, just to make sure she heard correctly.
"Y-You want to go with you to the college?" I nodded my head to her question. "Well, yeah? You are my best friend and I love you. I already felt bad leaving you when I went ho for a while, though I am very relieved that you enjoy working for Sophia. But we are in it for the long haul, you and I. I can’t just up and leave you every five minutes, that isn’t fair on our friendship."
Janine felt tears welling up in her eyes, but she sniffed them back as she smiled at . "Thank you so much!" She said and proceeded to hug tightly. "No need to thank , I stick by my friends and family. You are all, my everything."
Janine’s happiness had just hit a plateau. If she died this mont she would be ok as she was so happy! That was until a question was thrown her way that made her throat sink into her stomach. "So, now that that is out of the way and we can discuss further in a mont, what neutral news do you have for ?"
Janine paused. The only reason she had managed to build up enough nerve to tell Apollo how she felt was because she thought he was leaving her behind again... But now? Quickly panicking, Janine suddenly made sothing up.
"Oh, nothing as important as I made it out to be, I was just going to ask Sophia for a raise as I have been working hard recently, but that can sod off now. I’m going to college!"
