"Apollo Lambdason." Leanna addressed after picking her jaw up off the floor at Hailey’s emotional outburst. I turned around to the deputy head and replied. "Yes Mrs Dicaeus?" I replied formally, causing the woman to smile.
"I appreciate your respect for my authority Apollo, but teachers go by their first nas here, just call Leanna." She corrected before continuing. "Now, I would like to apologise for the sudden ’ambush’ upon your person regarding your new dispensation, I could understand why you displayed frantic behaviour in the few seconds you had to act."
’She could see that?’ I thought to myself. My brain when in battle mode does go into maximum overdrive and thinks faster than my body can act, so I was surprised she could tell the nuance of what I was feeling. Good.
I was starting to think I was pretty strong, while I am compared to normal humans, I was glad there were Psionic humans that I could aspire to grow past. With my already rapid growth this year, I was excited to see what was in store for now I was surrounded by equals and betters that are not either my enemies or my lover.

I suddenly gulped as I felt the gaze increase in temperant at my lack of response causing to grab the creature, who had stepped in front of , for protection and replied. "Mhm, no cris. Not a problem. It’s only my science that is a big no no after all and well, thanks to my friend, that’s not an issue anymore."
I obviously left out the part of being in a relationship with an alien species and have helped that species grow a cult on one of the core planets of the empire... But that was need to know information.
Leanna’s gaze continued for a few monts before, as though a switch had been thrown, her face gained a kind and nurturing look. "Good, I am glad that has been cleared up, I am sure you are going to simply adore your ti here at the college. Your laboratory will be ready for you tomorrow, you are not required to teach anything as this is a dispensation, but you are allowed seven student volunteers so if any co forward, please, feel free as to be perfectly candid, you can treat them like slaves and no one will bat an eye with the work you are going to be doing."
The fact the deputy head of the college just said I could treat so of my fellow students as slaves alard , just sowhat, but I rolled with it. "Ok, good to know. Thank you. Now, where did everyone go?" I said as I looked around at the empty lot. Even the old dude with his small bear had gone.
"Well, whatever your ’conversation’ with the praetorian was about, it moved a lot of heads. I ushered everyone away to get their housing sorted in case an ’incident’ occurred. You are free now to join everyone else now though. I will even fast track you to the front of the line as my way of apology."
I smiled at Leanna and thanked her. "Thank you, that is very generous of you, but I already purchased a ho earlier, we arrived a good while before everyone else." I explained, causing Leanna to mouth an ’Ah!’
"Well in that case, let tell you what everyone else will be told when they are assigned their lodgings. You have one week before any major lectures start. I would use that ti to acclimate to your surroundings. Smaller clubs might be holding etings, you will get itineraries sent to wherever you are staying by the end of tomorrow. Now, I won’t keep you any longer, I can feel Lady Valerica’s gaze on the nape of my neck for hogging so much of your ti."
I looked past Leanna for a mont to spot Valerica looking off into the jungle clearly having not just been spotted being a jealous mommy... The sight made smile and I extended my hand out to her.
"A pleasure to et you Leanna." She reciprocated and t my shake. "And you too Apollo. I hope you enjoy your ti here at the College." After that, she turned on her heel and began walking away before suddenly stopping as she walked past Nerissa.
"Humour for a mont will you?" She asked as she turned around to see Valerica already holding my arm betwixt her cleavage. "Sure." I said, not phased by the score of beauties around that Leanna just noticed herself.
"The Praetorian, Nerissa. What is your relation? She has been here many months saying she is waiting for soone, I did not expect it to be you... I didn’t know who to expect actually." She said candidly.
I smiled and looked over towards Nerissa. "Its pretty simple actually. Nerissa is my friend. Nothing more really needs to be said about it."
Leanna looked between Nerissa and I and nodded her head. "How intriguing." She muttered, causing a violent head turn from Nerissa as she stared down the deputy head. ’That’s my catchphrase.’
After the woman had left my vision. I breathed out a sigh of relief before looking around at my family and companions. "Well, that could have ended horribly. Hailey, in the future, no surprises ok? Just tell things outright. In fact, if anyone has anything to declare to that they have been keeping secret, now is the ti."
A silence lood over everyone as eyes began darting back and forth, sweat dripping from the heads of those with their deepest darkest secrets. "Um, I have sothing to say." A voice broke the silence after no one seed to speak.
I turned my head as Valerica grasped my cheeks and looked at with a seriousness I had never seen from her before, even in our fights. "Apollo... There is no easy way to say this, so I am going to be blunt... You are adopted."
My lips curled inwards as I stifled a chuckle before swatting my mothers hands away. "Get off! I was being serious!" Valerica then pressed forward. "And so was I. You don’t get your good looks from I’m afraid, if you did, you wouldn’t be able to walk down the street without getting gangbanged by everyone and everything. No, I am afraid that whoever you got your genes from, they were smoking hot, but not clearly as much as I am."
I paused and rubbed my chin. I had seen my female homunculi. I was pretty good looking as I was ant to be. "Yeah, I suppose that is true, my gene parents, or at least one of them, must have been incredibly beautiful."
Gabrielle’s smile threatened to turn bloody as she heard this and blushed profusely. She was simply fortunate no one was paying attention to her... Or so she thought. She was beyond lax in the presence of her son and his complints after all...
With the joke out of the way, I asked once more if anyone wanted to share anything, but with no response, I simply shrugged my shoulders. "Ok, well in that case, Orchid, Janine, Nerissa and I will go and check out our new ho, you are free to join us? I offered. This confused Hailey as she asked. "Wait, Nerissa is living with you? She has her own-
"-Apollo Is here. I am watching Apollo at all tis. That includes while he sleeps. You should listen to the rhythm of his heart as he sleeps. It is powerful like a bass drum." Nerissa declared, prompting Gabrielle to follow up.
"And you have no problem with this Apollo?" I turned to the woman with matching hair as my own and shrugged my shoulders. "I an I’m asleep, if she’s not and wants to spend her ti watching , who am I to say no? Besides, Nerissa is powerful, it’s like having a living intruder alarm."
She seed to have nothing to say to this. No one did. Seeing the conversation run its course, I began walking away and declared.
"Co on, no more lollygagging, I want to check out our new ho!"
