Talos’ processors flickered at rapid speed at what Jinx just said. He punched out so hard the hook, which was holding the Damatrium chains, bent and Jinx was sent flying across the room.
Talos then dashed in the other direction and began firing towards the ceiling. Fractions of a second later, A jagged pillar of ice several ters thick crashed through the ceiling, exactly where Talos was just standing.
Talos understood in a mont Jinx’s plan of enraging him. She wanted his full attention upon her so his wrath would blind him to his temperature gauges, the external temperature was already below zero and he was truly blinded by his rage.
A series of explosions suddenly sounded off in the distance, followed by screams of rage and pain. The compound was under siege. This was inconceivable! This place was deep into Cartel Verenya’s territory. A ’neutral’ faction. There was no way Timmy’s little troglodytes could find this place.
Inconceivable!
He had no ti to ponder though and would figure out betrayals later. Talos jumped and bashed his own hole through the ceiling of the warehouse. Up in the air, surrounded by a cloud of moisture, there he was. Timmy, looking down at him.
White death looked down at Talos and narrowed his eyes playfully. "It is good to see you Talos, It has been a true sha we have not fought once during our little ga of war."
Talos did not reply verbally, however. The night snowy sky was illuminated by thousands of tracers as Talos did not hold back. This was a staging area. He had enough munitions here to level the surroundings hundreds of tis over.
White Death shook his head and tensed his arms out in front of him. As he did so, a do of ice blue energy erged from his body and protected himself from the volley. His eyes squinted narrowly in amusent. re months ago his Mindspace defence projection was flimsy and would have shattered under the strain. Now? It felt like a tickle.
White Death did not say anymore to goad his adversary. The ti for talking was over. Only one of them would leave here alive today. White Death didn’t just float there and allow Talos’ ordinance to continue to bombard him.
He suddenly vanished, turning into the mist that was wrapped around where his legs were just before an ice rain began blanketing the surroundings. He was not just content with killing Talos after all. All these enemies had to go.
Ice pierced deeply into unknowing fools severing wires, breaking gear and for the more fleshy of the bunch, just causing the run of the mill injuries that being impaled with a few inches sharpened icicles would cause.
Talos had co up with contingencies however. He knew his opponent well. All battle data was always sent back to headquarters. He began loading Chira breath shells into his mortars autonomously from within his fra before firing towards the cloud. He also released the mini bots from his body, little munition carriers to fetch resupplies on the fly.
The very sky seed to set alight as the blue flaming rounds spat out their dicyanoacetylene. Those not blinded imdiately by the sight could sll ozone burning as the projectiles fired.
White Death saw this and beca flesh once more he did not support his suspension and dropped. Monts later, the shells exploded proper where he just was. He was admittedly quite resilient to heat, but when vapour, he was a lot more susceptible to it.
While freefalling, he drew vapour from the air as a hasty shield of ice. The flas hit the shield instantly, lting it, but the explosion’s force had sped up his descent, pushing him clear.
White Death saw the ground reaching closer and held his hands out and began shooting ice below him in a constant stream. An arch ford that caught his feet and with his hasty speed he continuously created an ice road before him, skating at a blurring speed, straight towards Talos.
Talos stomped into the ground, anchoring himself and pointed his whole arsenal towards Timmy. The sheer recoil of all his munitions towards Timmy rocked his entire body, forcing extra tension clamps to dig into the ground that sprang from his legs.
Talos didn’t bother on calculating his friendly fire chances from the shots missed. He could already tell that Timmy had brought seemingly his entire force. Tens of thousands against his thousands. He had a higher probability of hitting an enemy with a stray round than an ally and he had no problem with the risk to their safety.
White Death had long put professional skaters to sha as he was in his elent. Dodging and weaving shots as he approached the big tin can in front of him. Still he had to be cautious. His ntal barrier was defending the smaller fire, but as he got closer not only did Talos’ long range weaponry get more oomph, but his close arms weaponry were actually piercing though his defence, His left arm already had multiple through and throughs, but he kept going.
White Death couldn’t afford to dick around for too long, Talos, while a giant cunt, his battle prowess was no joke and his tallic ass had very illegal technology within him. His battle processors were not sothing to scoff at as he was already predicting where White Death’s next sheet of ice would be, attempting to destroy his montum. While his shots towards White Death himself, were already getting more accurate by the microsecond. Once within a hundred ters, White Death forewent evasion and started straight towards Talos.
Talos had less than a second before Timmy reached him. His firepower had been blocked by a huge and incredibly dense sheet of ice that Timmy had erected as he turned towards him. All his firepower beca calculated. Aiming all towards the weakest point of the ice sheet.
This was all or nothing. A gamble by both leaders. Timmy was right. One of them would die here today. Either Timmy would get turned to minceat after his sheet was destroyed, or he would perish to whatever braindead sche Timmy had co up with.
Ti slowed to a crawl The rumbling of ammunition and ice cracking was all the two heard. Talos watched as the ice sheet continued to loom closer. His weapons were not going to cut it as they were. He was so close... But then he opened his chest cannon.
It was risky firing this close. WIth the modifications, if the wall held his chassis would lt due to the recently acquired alien tech being as powerful as it was, but if it broke through...
Being advanced black technology of mysterious origins, there was no warm up. The shot fire from his chest. The recoil broke his leg clamps, in fact his entire legs were gone and as he was slowly falling backwards, he watched as the ice gave way. lting, disintegrating. Destroyed.
However, Timmy seed to have his trump card at the ready. A large lance made of an ice so black, Talos felt a wrongness just staring at it. The lance did not lt as the miniature sun ricocheted.
Still, White Death was not unscathed. His barrier lted away, the pain from the Psionic backlash was pushed aside as burns licked at his skin, swathes flensed and boiled off in fractions of seconds. White Death at this inhuman pain seed unphased however and kept his lance true.
The Black ice parted through Talos’ exposed chest thanks to the opened cannon and all the way through the back, through the missile upon his back that miraculously did not then explode. The montum of the attack imbedded ters into the ground behind Talos until Both enemies were literally face to face.
Talos’ entire lower body was offline, severed. His main weapons were out of ammo and his missile inert, aning he couldn’t just blow up the whole compound. Still, he had one advantage over little Timmy still after all this damage. He no longer felt pain and was still at fighting strength.
As White Death felt the urge to scream out in part as almost his entire epidermis was just no longer in existence, he suddenly felt the air pressure change as a fist with a chain blade moved towards him at incredible speed. He couldn’t react in ti and was gored in the gut, followed by a butchering of his innards as the blades continued to spin.
"GRaaaaah!" White Death. Scread. Not out of pain, but rage as another blue lance erged in his weak hands and with all of the strength he could muster drove down through all the pain straight through the last piece of humanity that was Talos...
With the Lance through his Head. Talos’ subroutines fired off hastily to find a way to recover... But it was too late, systems shut down and the tallic fra went limp.
"Aaaaaaghghhh!"
White Death scread out in agony as he pulled the chain blade from the hole that was once his torso before looking down at the ’corpse’ before him. He spat on his enemy’s remains before collapsing down atop his vanquished foe...
