Naturally being told that a not only younger but also weaker opponent had bested them in a 4v1 situation, without the need to use any spirit techniques, made the captain as well as his remaining subordinate freeze for a second.
The captain especially refused to believe it, his original target wasn't Nina but Lina after all, so if he was being overwheld to this point then… he had no chance against Lina to begin with.
The problem is that the other option, which would that she was able to use spirit techniques without the need to call out their nas, was even worse.

The captain considered Nina's state to be "half-baked" because only a portion of her flas had turned blue, though he said it with disdain, the truth is that he was stuck in a similar situation until not too long ago when he advanced thanks to the resources that they were rewarded due to their "service" to the family, but in his case it was the border of his flas the one that used to be blue toned before he finally advanced.
"What are you two ungrateful pieces of trash discussing in secret with so much interest, if you aren't going to co, then I'll take the initiative", said the youngest of the three sisters as she pointed her gladius at the remaining star axys guy.
"Booom!", Nina's currently blue eyes glowed and flas gathered at the tip of her sword, before being shot in the form of a concentrated fire stream that crossed the distance between herself and the remaining star axys enemy in a fraction of a second.
Feeling the danger coming at him, this ti the enemy did react in ti by using a movent spirit technique.
"Blazing Path!", he shouted in a rushed way to then flash away, retreating by quite a few hundreds of ters just in ti before he was engulfed by the fla stream shot by Nina.
The star axys guy felt a shiver running down his spine, it was brief but the mont that fire stream was the closest to him, he felt as if he was going to be boiled alive.
"Her attack only turned completely blue when it was about to reach you, so as we thought she can't properly control Blaze Commandnt and has to use more spirit energy than normal to make up for it and if that's the case…", said the captain who appeared next to the remaining subordinate a fraction of a second later.
Nina who saw those two taking their sweet ti to talk instead of fighting, felt her blood boil due to anger.
"Get slashed down and burn to a crisp you trash", she mumbled as she turned into a blue-orange teor that shot itself towards those two.
Surprisingly, instead of eting Nina's attack head one, those two not only dodged but actually retreated way before she reached their vicinity.
"What the hell are you doing!", exclaid the youngest of the three sisters as she chased after them, the previous resulted in three fire streams to make countless turns around the battlefield.
Each ti Nina missed them, the blue glow in her eyes increased and the fierceness of her flas followed it, resulting in her speed also increasing a bit, this continuous fire explosions were what caught Aster's attention, making him fly towards Nina's battlefield, arriving just in ti to see the youngest of the three sisters finally getting close to catching up with the star axys guy.
"What the hell, didn't you say she would be out of spirit energy by now, how is she getting faster, then!", he shouted to the captain as he saw the deathly glare on those pretty blue eyes of Nina, as she ca close to him.
Unfortunately for him, the captain also had no idea about what was going on here, by logic after releasing wave after wave of those enhanced flas, her spirit energy reserves should have hit rock bottom a long ti ago... if she was using a spirit technique like Blaze Commandnt that is.
"Fool, even if you keep running around like that, she is not going to run out of spirit energy, there is no way you'll be able to win those three just by stalling for ti", disdainfully said Aster.
The three sisters went against those Orcrary guys back at Esralda's realm, that race had innately strong bodies and they were body cultivators, it took twenty of them to force the three sisters to a corner and each one of them had higher realms than the three sisters back then, their endurance was no joke.
Had it not been by the fact that so of them used a strange power to take the sisters by surprise as well as Victor's betrayal at a critical mont, they wouldn't have been forced into a corner like that, which made Iris stop her fight with their leader to give them a hand and retreat together, ultimately leading to the red-haired girl to join hands with Aster, which ended up being for the best.
Also, and unlike the enemies, now that he saw Nina up-close, Aster could easily understand why Nina was still fine despite having released wave after wave of those flas, during the past five minutes or so.

'But what if she already had attained that whole 20% and was instead lacking when it ca to the previous section which is… related to lineage, constitution and fortuitous encounters'.
Aster reached this conclusion after inspecting Nina's flas and the enemy's ones with his dragon eyes, on the outside they looked the sa at least when it ca to the ones from the captain which were at the first level.
But there was a major difference to them, through the usage of a spirit technique, in other words Blaze Commandnt, the captain was improving the properties of his fire attributed spirit energy and that put a lot of pressure on his body, which resulted in his physical energy being drained at the sa ti.
It was a technique that mixed aspects of two paths, the soul one was needed only because it was a difficult process and because learning it would have been even harder, had they not been soul cultivators.
Nina on the other hand was directly combining spirit energy and physical energy, the orange part of her flas was born out of her body path while the core which had now turned blue due to so sort of change, derived from her spirit energy, which would explain why her eyes turned blue, sothing similar happened in the Drage family with the red eye color that supposedly signaled one to have a really high talent in the energy path
'It's a lineage ability, or the starts of one at least, how amusing, so that technique those guys are so proud of is but a re imitation of this', concluded Aster.
In few seconds that it took Aster to make a solid conclusion based on what he knew and what he could see with his dragon eyes, the youngest of the three sisters caught up with the star axys guy.
"Not only did you wield a sword in front of a Bladeheart's disciple but you also dared to use a "Blazing Sword" after being an ungrateful piece of trash, my great grandmother who founded our family branch revised and compiled the first three levels of it into Earth To!", roared the youngest sister as she slashed at the enemy.
"Boooom!", along the way, the gladius which only had intent cladding it, actually exploded in blue flas.
"M-rcy…. Aghhhh!", before the sword got to cut the star axys guy, the sole exposition to the flas made his body burn from the inside, he got to scream unlike his other friends, since Nina wasn't in direct contact with him, it didn't last long for even a second before he was beheaded by the youngest of the three sisters though.
"Clang!", the captain who took the chance to sneakily attack Nina with his rapier, felt his heart drop all the way from his chest to his stomach when his sword was blocked by a short sword which a second later exploded in blue flas.
After seeing what happened earlier, the captain imdiately let go of his rapier and fled for dear life, without looking back, especially because he caught a glimpse of that black haired monster high into the sky.
"Humph", Nina softly snorted, the blue flas from the captain which were covering the rapier transford into her orange flas with a blue core and the spirit weapon actually lted into a puddle!
Breaking a spirit treasure is usually easier than lting it, with enough impact a sword will break, after all a sword isn't ant to defend but to attack, unless we are talking about heavy swords.
However, lting one ans that the fire used has surpassed the one that was used by the spirit blacksmith to make it and in this case, that rapier was a low Stellar grade spirit treasure, aning that a Sea of Knowledge cultivator would be the one to make the most out of it.
And it was made for fire attributed cultivators, so it should have been able to endure heat above that, in other words Nina's fire even if for a fraction of a second had surpassed the heat that flas at the Sea of Knowledge realm could produce.
This ti she indeed had paid a price, as her ragged breath suggested, it was natural, since she a middle stage Star Axys cultivator produced an offensive force that surpassed the Sea of Knowledge realm even if it was for a mont, the flas and intent cladding her gladius completely disappeared and the blue core of the flas that covered her, dimd down quite a bit.
The captain who was fleeing turned his head around and noticed the tiredness in Nina's eyes, as well as the fact that his prized spirit weapon was destroyed and hatred overca him.
"Go die you crazy bitch!", with a swift maneuver he took a detour and summoned his second rapier, which was only a peak sky grade spirit weapon to then aim it at Nina's chest.
"Blazing Sword!", he was still in Blaze Commandnt mode as he was using the blue flas to protect himself in case the enemy tried to attack his back, but then a second before he reached his target, he saw a smirk appear in Nina's pretty face and a sensation of dread.
Which was on point, considering that the remaining flas Nina had around her body gathered on her short sword, which she slashed at the captain.
'I was tricked…', was the last thing the captain managed to think before his rapier and his body were cut down and then burned into ashes, signaling the end of Nina's fight but not the end of the troubles, since the youngest of three sisters started to fall from the sky, she was genuinely exhausted now.
And that wasn't everything, a group of people with familiar looking clothes had reached the vicinity just in ti to see the captain being cut and burned to death by Nina.
"How dare you, you exiled scum!", four peak Star Tribulation cultivators who were friends of the captain that just died aid their swords at the youngest sister who despite being exhausted still pointed her gladius at them, naturally she couldn't produce any flas anymore.
"Stop!", a female voice coming from afar tried to interrupt those four but it was too late, they… suddenly lost their heads at the sa ti as a golden flash bypassed them.
"Lord of the Twin Sword Valley!!!", roared the female voice, which belonged to one of the two representatives from the Redheart family.
Aster who beca visible a second later, was now standing in front of the youngest of the three sisters, a golden sword without even a single blood stain was being held at his right hand.
"You bastard, why did you kill them!", exclaid the female elder to which Aster casually said.
"Mmm, normally I would say sothing along the lines of "I rember having stated that swarming anyone from my side was prohibited", but honestly, I simply felt like it, is there a problem with that?".
The female elder trembled due to anger but at this point she knew that there wasn't anything she could do to Nina with Aster present here, she was dying to force the truth about how she produced blue flas when she should be restricted to never learn Blaze Commandnt, but she couldn't even interrogate her.
Now imagine her expression when Aster smirked at her.
"Don't tell you are thinking of accusing her of "stealing" so secret techniques, if you haven't learned your lesson, I don't mind taking more stuff from you, one can never be too wealthy after all", he jokingly said, which reminded the female elder of how Aster basically robbed the Ocean Aquamarine and Mountain Amber families of half of their possessions to then still kill their mbers a second later.
"We'll retreat out forces from the battlefields, so let us part ways in a positive manner…", the female elder's words were interrupted by Aster saying.
"I don't care about those of you fighting against those unrelated to , but the ones facing those two and my cute juniors, can't leave, if they want to live, they must survive their fights against them and of course if they simply try to flee, their heads will "magically" separate from their bodies".
"What!", the female elder nearly lost it, he was basically telling her that the lives of her clan mbers weren't theirs anymore, which was actually the case, it was infuriating, but then her bravado was deflated by Aster adding.
"What, did you think your little sche would go unpunished, you should take all your other clan mbers out of the battlefields before I change my mind".
The face of the female elder twisted, knowing that the monster floating above her could casually kill till the last one of her clan mbers, and if that were to happen her head will roll once they return to the family, no, in fact she wouldn't dare to return if that were to happen.
"I will rember this…", she said as she turned around to leave, essentially leaving those from the Redheart family that were sent against the girls from the sect and the group of Aster, who haven't died yet, to their luck, unfortunately for her, when has Aster not made use of a chance to ss with an enemy.
"Speaking of which, those three were part of the "collaterals" specified in my contract with Iris and since you guys had tried to get to them without asking first, the debt will be increased by thirty percent".
The female elder nearly tripped on the air, the value of the materials that Iris supposedly owed the Lord of the Twin Sword Valley, was of around twenty percent of the main treasury of their family and he was adding more to that, it was insane and they couldn't do anything about it, since Iris had no relation with them, so if she sold her ti to the Lord of the Twin Sword Valley in exchange for said materials, only Aster himself could release her from her "duty".
While clenching her fists so much that her nails pierced her flesh, the female elder rushed as far away from this place as she could, leaving behind a Nina whose eyes were sparkling after seeing how Aster casually toyed with the elders that insulted and treated them like filth at every chance they had.
"And now, what should I do with a little girl who got too "heated up" and ended up using too much stamina in a single attack that could have killed ten enemies with the sa level as the one she was facing", jokingly said Aster as he turned to see the youngest of the three sisters.
Nina's face turned red as an apple out of embarrassnt, she got a bit too excited in the spur of the mont, it wasn't her fault though, the ones that she had a grudge with were those three, the captain should have been Lina's opponent, but it is true that she acted too childishly during a fight which was a grave mistake.
"Mm?", Nina who was looking downwards out of embarrassnt, felt a soothing and relaxing sensation easing her exhausted body, she looked upwards just to see Aster patting her head.
"Now, everything can wait until everyone is back safely, have a nice rest", he said, to which the youngest of the three sisters nodded, her blue eyes returned to their orange-red tone before they closed, she actually fell asleep on the spot, it was normal she was exhausted.
"Please take her back with you", said Aster to Lieze who was arriving at the battlefield right now, she went to get the resource assigned to them, since she saw Aster supervising her teammate's battlefield personally.
Lieze nodded and then Aster made Nina float towards her using his soul energy to gently let her fall into her arms, in case you think he is being too lenient with the youngest of the three sisters out of nowhere, like a certain dragon mother was thinking considering how she was gazing at him from the resting area, there is a proper reason for it.
'Don't look at like that, the other two sisters also took the dicine refined by but only she has shown such an extre change, so it was either due to a certain soone's dragon self, playing around with her newly acquired ability or because of close exposition to my Rigel's flas, in both cases it is only right to help her deal with the impulses brought by her lineage's awakening', said Aster.
To which Rya chuckled from the mind space.
'And the fact that she was looking at you with sparkles in her eyes, has nothing to do with it', unfortunately she underestimated Aster's shalessness.
'Well, she indeed looked cute', he casually said making the sword girl pout, while Lilia giggled at her.
'Don't underestimate my darling's appetite~', she said, as expected even if he could easily deal with Rya, he couldn't win against Lilia when it ca to teasing.
