Liu Zheng spoke indifferently.

He didn't really have any ill feelings toward Ma Baoli; after all, if he were in her place, he wouldn't want to sign for a delivery either.

But since they couldn't be friends, they could only handle business officially.

"What kind of reward do you want?"

Ma Baoli asked through gritted teeth.

"Two items of excellent quality. Or just give whatever you have, and I'll see if it's enough."

Liu Zheng said.

"I've been focused on martial arts without any possessions."

Ma Baoli said awkwardly.

The Mixed Pill Sect, after all, was only a small sect established a few decades ago, and her father wasn't very good at managent. The few items of excellent quality they had were spent on treating her father's illness.

"Then give an egg or sothing. I'm leaving. Ah Bao, you stay here and watch her from a distance. Once she's able to move around, you can leave."

He instructed.

Since he hadn't killed Ma Baoli, he naturally wouldn't allow her to die at the hands of others, nor would he allow Yi Zhiping's scene with the Little Dragon Maiden to play out in the tropolis.

"Why?"

The panda was not too pleased.

"You want to get closer? I didn't expect you to be interested in won; fine, I'll fulfill that for you."

Liu Zheng intentionally misconstrued its aning.

"Only an idiot would be interested in her; she doesn't even have fur, ugly as death."

The panda said disdainfully.

"She thinks the sa of you. Alright, I'm off. If anything happens to her, prepare to swap duties with Niu Daji."

He said.

"I won't work as a handyman. Got it, go on your way."

The panda waved a paw dismissively.

"Wait."

Ma Baoli called Liu Zheng back.

"What is it?"

"Why did you order your pet to protect ?"

Ma Baoli asked.

Before Liu Zheng could respond, the panda jumped up.

"I am not his pet!"

The panda said angrily.

As a legitimate pass-down from the Mystical Sect, even stronger cultivators couldn't take it as a mount without insulting the entire Mixed Pill Sect.

"Alright, alright, you're my grandpa. Now go play over there, be good."

Liu Zheng patted its large head comfortingly.

"Hmph!"

The panda walked off unhappily, secretly resolving to give this clueless woman a beating once Liu Zheng left.

"I have no grudge against you. Once the delivery is over, we're just strangers. If I saw soone fainting on the street, I'd slap them awake; we at least had a skirmish."

Liu Zheng, having soothed the panda, then spoke to Ma Baoli.

"It seems the people outside aren't as bad as my father says."

Ma Baoli mumbled.

Ma Fuguo cherished his only daughter and true pass-down disciple like a treasure, never letting her go out alone and always instilling the belief that the people outside were all evil villains.

"Then you're mistaken. People outside are ten tis worse than what your father said, I'm just a good person."

Liu Zheng shook his head.

He never considered himself a good person, at least not in the real world.

In the tropolis, if he couldn't achieve sainthood, it was because City Hall had set him up.

"Is that so?"

Ma Baoli looked at Liu Zheng's face, her expression enigmatic.

"If I promise to help you, will you really help cure my father?"

She asked.

"My biggest advantage is keeping my word. See that bear over there? I brought it out of the Ten Thousand Great Mountains just the day before yesterday under the condition of finding its kind. If you want to know if I kept my promise, just ask it."

Liu Zheng pointed to the panda in the distance.

"No need to ask, I believe you."

Ma Baoli said.

She wasn't foolish, she could tell the panda seed rebellious on the surface but was actually obedient.

"Unseal , I'm willing..."

Ma Baoli stopped midway and stared intently behind Liu Zheng.

Liu Zheng didn't need to turn around to know the cashier had arrived.

He quietly left, then drove away.

He didn't head back to the restaurant imdiately but went to Jiahe New Residence first.

"Sorry, Professor, this is all that's left."

Liu Zheng handed the Black Swan's goose intestine to the Mini People.

"Heh heh..."

The Mini People chuckled helplessly.

He was just a scholar, not a deity, and even a deity would find it hard to research anything from a single intestine.

"Tendaros."

He called out.

The Hound, waiting for a long ti, imdiately swallowed the goose intestine.

"In any case, you've worked hard for this trip, let Tendaros take you back."

The Mini People said.

"Thank you, Professor."

Although Liu Zheng suspected he just wanted soone to walk the dog, he still accepted the gesture.

On the way back, Tendaros showed great interest in the spirit car, constantly popping out from different angles of the cabin, having a grand ti.

And when it followed Liu Zheng's car to the restaurant outside, it found sothing even more intriguing.

An old, skeletal horse.

Tendaros extended its long, tubular tongue, tasting the air as if gathering the horse's scent, its body trembling slightly with excitent.

Purple-red smoke spewed from the holes on its body, and its outline continuously shifted in the smoke.

The constant shape-shifting was a trait only the Tendaros Lord possessed, and while Tendaros wasn't a Tendaros Lord, it surpassed its peers by far.

The malicious gaze fixated on the Skinny Horse, which seed oblivious.

"Grrrr..."

Feeling the disdain from the other, Tendaros made a sound like water boiling, a sign it was furious.

For a being like Tendaros, being angry only ant one thing.

To tear apart the creature causing its displeasure.

The purple-red smoke vanished without warning, reappearing just as suddenly beside the Skinny Horse.

A slender, tubular tongue shot from the smoke, aiming at the horse's heart.

"Tendaros, no!"

Everything happened in a flash, and by the ti Liu Zheng reacted, he could only shout a warning.

But clearly, Tendaros didn't heed his words.

The tubular tongue shot into the Skinny Horse's body, not its heart, but its mouth.

Its yellowing large teeth clamped down on Tendaros's tongue, the grinning horse mouth seed to mock its overreach.

Tendaros grew even angrier, and the smoke was sucked into another dinsion like a powerful extractor fan, taking its body along.

Then, the space around the Skinny Horse turned like a glass window, on the other side of the window was a mist filled with purple-red smoke.

The next mont, countless claws crash into the Skinny Horse, as if to flay it.

"Neigh~"

The Skinny Horse snorted, flas spewing black smoke shot from its nostrils.

"Brother Ma, give a break, don't kill it."

Just as it was about to move its hooves, Liu Zheng shouted loudly.

"Three bottles of Golden Label!"

As it hesitated, Liu Zheng shouted again.

As soon as he finished speaking, the Skinny Horse disappeared on the spot, reappearing inside the cabin.

It didn't speak, just turned sideways to show Liu Zheng its saddlebag.

Liu Zheng got the hint, imdiately pulled out three bottles of Golden Label and tucked them into the saddlebag, tossing in two extra bottles of Silver Label.

"Neigh~"

The Skinny Horse nodded in satisfaction, then flickered back to its original position.

It stomped the ground, black flas sprouting like weeds, then twisting everything up like a tornado.

Even the smoke hiding in another dinsion couldn't escape, sucked into the fiery tornado and spiraled into the endless sky.

"It won't die, will it?"

Liu Zheng asked worriedly, approaching the Skinny Horse.

The Skinny Horse looked at him and shook its head.

"That's good."

Liu Zheng breathed a sigh of relief.

Although Tendaros had initiated the conflict, if it died, he couldn't explain it to the Mini People.

As for any injuries, it didn't matter; if it stirred trouble, it deserved the lesson.

"Is Brother Ma here to take tomb-robbing?"

Liu Zheng asked.

The Skinny Horse nodded.

"Can I go in and explain first?"

He asked.

The Skinny Horse nodded again.

"Thank you, Brother Ma."

Liu Zheng expressed his gratitude, turning to enter the delivery path.
