The world has turned into Hell's Game, why should I stay human? Chapter 1234 765: Kowloon Walled City2
"Okay, got it."
izhen's voice steadied a bit.
"I'm looking for soone nad Fat Biao in Kowloon Walled City. Do you know him?"
He asked.
"I know three people nad Fat Biao. Not sure which one Mr. Liu is looking for?"
izhen replied.
"Tell about them."
"One runs a gambling stall, another sells drugs, and a third runs a fight pit."
izhen said.
"What's a gambling stall?"
Liu Zheng asked.
"It's where the house picks one na out of thirty-six people or animals, writes it on a slip of paper or bamboo, seals it in a jar, then gamblers place bets. When it's ti, the jar is broken and the winner is announced."
izhen explained.
"Oh."
It sounded familiar; soone he knew once played it.
"And the one with the fight pit?"
Liu Zheng asked again.
"It's for underground fights. But Fat Biao isn't a fighter; he's a manager."
izhen replied.
"How do you know these three?"
"They've all dealt with before."
izhen replied.
"That's quite the coincidence. By the way, the Fat Biao I'm talking about is 'fat' as in 'plump,' and 'Biao' from 'tiger.'
He emphasized.
After all, so nas sound similar, so he had to be clear.
"Their 'Fat' is surely that 'fat,' but which 'Biao' I don't know, as they wouldn't write it down for ."
izhen said.
"True. Among the three, which one is the strongest?"
Liu Zheng asked.
"Probably the one with the fight pit. He used to be a fighter but beca a manager because he couldn't fight anymore. He once bragged to that after winning too hard, when soone ca to trouble, he managed to kill more than a dozen henchn by himself."
izhen thought and said.
"What should I do if I want to find them?"
"Finding the gambling stall owner and the fight pit manager is easy; at this hour, they're mostly at their places. Just go there directly. The drug dealer is hard to find, as he seems to often be outside Kowloon Walled City."
izhen replied.
"Can I enter Kowloon Walled City directly?"
Liu Zheng asked.
"There are over ten entrances to Kowloon Walled City, each guarded by different factions. As long as you're not a rival faction or the police, they usually let you in. After all, you can't squeeze much out of the poor souls inside the Walled City."
"But your status is special, so I can't say for sure."
izhen said.
"Here's an idea: I have a friend who works independently. If they won't let you in, just call her to co and get you. But you'll need to pay her a fee afterward."
She thought again and said.
"Money is not an issue. What's your friend's na? What's her number?"
Liu Zheng asked.
"Her na is Ah Piao, and her number is 177XXXXXXX."
izhen reported a string of numbers.
"Good. Let her know in advance so she won't be clueless when the ti cos."
He said.
"Alright."
"Hand the phone to the Queen."
Liu Zheng said.
"Sure, sure."
izhen hurriedly handed the phone to the Queen.
"Anything else?"
The Queen said impatiently.
"Tell Zhi Zi to wait for near Kowloon Walled City."
Liu Zheng said.
"Are you sure? If people from Kowloon Walled City see Zhi Zi, it's even less likely they'll let you in."
"You're overthinking. I brought gifts and just want her to pick them up."
He said.
"What are you plotting, man?"
The Queen frowned.
"You're overthinking too, woman. Just building rapport. I bought hundreds of these, not missing your share."
Liu Zheng rolled his eyes.
"Got it."
The Queen hung up the phone.
He put away his phone and focused on driving, soon nearing Kowloon Walled City.
"Wow, this structure, no wonder it's called a Walled City."
Liu Zheng looked at the buildings in front of him and said.
This deford construction is made of countless buildings cramd together, one attached to another, layer upon layer, like a mouth within a mouth.
Each building not only varies in height, but the architectural style of each floor is also different.
The upper floor might be reinforced concrete, while the lower one is an adobe house.
And judging by the exterior façade, it's clear that these buildings weren't built at once but have been stacked and rebuilt countless tis.
"It's amazing it hasn't collapsed. Truly an Extraordinary World's feat."
Liu Zheng remarked.
"Knock knock!"
Suddenly, there was a tapping sound from the car roof.
He got out of the car and saw, as expected, Zhi Zi had arrived.
"Leave a portion for Jennifer (originally the elevator operator at West River Center) and that kid (the sex worker's son delivered food by Niu Ma), and the rest you guys can divide."
Liu Zheng handed the remaining drinks and desserts to her.
"Oh. Can I have two helpings?"
Zhi Zi was tempted by the dessert's aroma.
"Of course, if the Queen asks, just say I approved."
Liu Zheng chuckled.
"Thanks."
Zhi Zi suddenly leaned over and licked his face twice.
"Who taught you this way of thanking people?"
Liu Zheng wiped off the slobber, asking with an odd expression.
"No one taught ; I learned on my own."
Zhi Zi replied.
"Good learning, but don't do it again. Alright, head back. I have work to do."
He said.
"The Queen said I should stay nearby in case you need my assistance."
Zhi Zi said.
"No need. It's just Kowloon Walled City; if I can get in, I can get out."
Liu Zheng shook his head.
"Alright."
Zhi Zi nodded, and in the next second, she vanished into a blur.
"Truly here one mont, gone the next."
Liu Zheng raised an eyebrow.
With the utmost speed and attack power, Zhi Zi would be much more suited as an Assassin rather than a bodyguard.
But compared to being an Assassin, protecting the people he cares about brings much more joy.
Strength, ultimately, is what you need to choose your path.
He collected his wandering thoughts and headed for Kowloon Walled City.
Since he didn't know which entrance was best, he simply chose to enter through the main gate labeled "Kowloon Walled City."
Since Liu Zheng got close to the main entrance, a few people lounging around had been keeping an eye on him.
As he reached the gate, one of them quickly ran inside the Walled City, while the others gathered around him.
"You look new, brother. What's your na?"
A man in a V-neck floral shirt, with a floral dragon tattooed on his chest, asked with a grin.
"Liu Zheng, just call Ah Zheng. And this brother, what's your na?"
Liu Zheng too grinned and asked.
"I'm Fei, if you respect , call Brother Fei. Don't, it doesn't matter what you call ."
The one in floral shirt said.
"Hello, Brother Fei. Here, have a cigarette."
He took out that pack of special cigarettes, pulled one out, and handed it to the floral shirt guy.
The guy didn't refuse, took the cigarette, and then they stared at each other.
"Got a light?"
Finally, the floral shirt guy couldn't resist and asked, holding the cigarette between his lips.
"Ah, sorry, I don't smoke, so I don't have a lighter."
Liu Zheng said awkwardly.
"Bring a lighter with the cigarettes next ti, got it?"
The floral shirt guy admonished, taking out his own lighter and lighting up.
"Wow, Ah Fei, this is a good cigarette."
He's an old hand at smoking and could tell this was the real deal as soon as he took a drag.
"A friend from the sanitation departnt gave it to , said it's a special supply. I don't smoke much, keep them for people on special occasions."
"Sanitation Departnt? Aren't you with the Bloody Restaurant? What's with the sanitation departnt connection?"
The floral shirt guy asked accusingly.
"So cooperation with them."
Liu Zheng vaguely replied evasively.
"Oh."
The floral shirt guy nodded, not paying much heed. The whole City Hall doesn't care much about Kowloon Walled City, let alone the sanitation departnt.
"So what brings you to Kowloon Walled City?"
He asked.
"Looking for soone."
"Who?"
The floral shirt guy pressed further.
"I'm looking for Ah Piao; I heard her service is excellent."
Liu Zheng said.
"Ah Piao? Never heard of her, do you guys know her?"
The floral shirt guy glanced at the others.
"Brother Fei, I know her. She's in the northern district, runs her own show, lives above Zhang's Dog at Restaurant. A friend of mine said her high-speed vacuum suction is amazing."
A lackey with slanted bangs raised his hand and said with a lecherous look.
