Under Liu Zheng’s scrutinizing gaze, the underling also drew a card from the lower part of the deck.

He flipped it open, revealing a "King of Hearts."

"Welco to Ping’an City Gambling House."

The masked woman bowed slightly and then stepped aside to clear the way.

"Thank you."

Liu Zheng politely expressed his gratitude, then strode into the gambling house.

Compared to the Demon Casino where Niu Ma took him, Ping’an City Gambling House was much larger and had significantly more patrons.

Moreover, most of the gamblers were humanoid creatures, unlike the chaotic mix at Demon Casino.

"Exchanging gold for chips is a bit troubleso, so we need you to wait a mont."

The masked woman followed him in and said.

"Then I’ll use cash instead, the gold bar was just a knock-on-the-door token."

Liu Zheng pulled out a wad of cash.

"Alright. Yai."

The masked woman handed back the gold bar and then gestured over a twin-tailed, idol-dressed, pretty young girl.

"Take good care of this distinguished guest from the Bloody Restaurant."

She instructed the twin tails.

"Alright, Lady Rixiang."

The twin tails replied.

"I have other matters to attend to, so I can’t accompany you further, Deliveryman, enjoy your ti."

The masked woman bowed to Liu Zheng and then disappeared into the crowd.

"Do I also need to call you Deliveryman?"

The twin tails tilted her head and asked.

"Then you can call Master."

Seeing her sunny and playful smile, Liu Zheng suddenly felt a mischievous urge.

"Alright, Master. Is there anything Yai-chan can do for you, Master?"

The twin tails quickly got into character.

"Go and exchange so chips for first."

Liu Zheng handed her the wad of cash, and from it, he drew two bills and tucked them into her ponytails.

"These two bills are a reward for Yai-chan."

He said.

"Master is so kind, I’ll be going then."

The twin tails walked away happily.

As soon as she turned, Liu Zheng’s expression turned serious.

He wandered through the gambling house with his hands in his pockets, his sharp gaze sweeping across the gambling tables and patrons.

Soon, he found his target.

A disheveled-haired, bearded man in a worn-out samurai robe was standing in front of the roulette table, leaning forward so much that his ear almost touched the wheel.

"Start!"

With the croupier’s announcent, the wheel began spinning rapidly.

The small steel ball danced up and down in the wheel, like a lost bee.

And the gamblers’ hearts followed the bee’s up and down, like honey being harvested by it.

Finally, the bee stopped flying, and the steel ball landed in the black "13" slot.

"Damn it!"

The man slamd his fist down on the gambling table fiercely, leaving a shallow dent in the sturdy wooden table, with irregular cracks in it.

"Mr. Shi, you’ve damaged the tables multiple tis; if this continues, you’ll either have to pay for damages, or we’ll have to ask you to leave."

The croupier frowned and said.

"Don’t tell about this, keep going, keep going."

The man refused to listen, placing almost all his remaining chips on "8."

The croupier didn’t start the next round imdiately but instead took out a walkie-talkie.

"He’s going to call the manager."

Liu Zheng thought.

Although he wasn’t afraid, reducing trouble was always preferable.

So he stepped to the table before the croupier could call anyone.

"I’ll pay for the table he damaged."

Liu Zheng casually took out a wad of cash and tossed it in front of the croupier.

"Alright, thank you, dear guest."

The croupier put down the walkie-talkie and adeptly pocketed the money.

He didn’t even ask why Liu Zheng was paying for the man’s damage.

In places like casinos, anything can happen.

He’s even seen chips being used for a rain before.

The man glanced at Liu Zheng, said nothing, just grabbed his chips and moved to the next gambling table.

And Liu Zheng said nothing either, quietly following behind him.

The next table was for dice; without hesitation, the man threw all his remaining chips on "Big."

The croupier shook the dice cup, casting nurous phantoms until it suddenly stopped.

"Open!"

With a loud shout, the dice cup opened.

Four, four, two, ten points, small.

Lost everything in one go, but this ti the man didn’t yell in frustration; instead, he looked coldly at Liu Zheng.

Even though his eyes were tightly shut, Liu Zheng seed to see a pair of blood-red eyes.

Liu Zheng smiled faintly, took out a wad of cash, and placed it in front of the man.

The man grabbed the cash and once again bet on "Big."

"Sir Shi, only chips allowed on the tables."

The croupier reminded.

The man tossed a mocking smile at Liu Zheng, then threw the cash back in front of him.

"Sir, I finally found you."

At this mont, the twin-tailed girl ran over, holding a tray filled with chips.

"Thank you."

Liu Zheng took the tray and poured all the chips onto the betting table.

"Well, now we have it."

He said.

The man’s smile widened a bit, and then he used his rough and dirty large hands to gather the chips into a pile, pushing them all onto an eye-catching spot.

"Six six six!"

The onlooking gamblers gasped in surprise, and the croupier’s expression slightly changed.

The odds for three sixes are 1:150, but the probability is only 1:216, which is 0.46%.

Those who dare to bet on three sixes are either truly skilled or truly foolish.

Of course, now there’s a third situation, which is using soone else’s chips.

But what if he really wins...

The croupier looked at the pile of chips.

In this case, it would output nearly ten million dollars.

With this thought, beads of cold sweat appeared on his forehead.

"Hurry up, what are you waiting for? Afraid you can’t afford to pay?"

The man urged.

"Yeah, hurry up, why are you guys dawdling now?"

The other gamblers chid in noisily.

"Open!"

The croupier gritted his teeth and opened the dice cup.

Six four one, eleven big.

"Whew~"

The croupier let out a long breath.

It seems he really is just spending soone else’s money without concern.

The other gamblers felt both disappointed and relieved.

Disappointed not to see a big scene, relieved that others didn’t win money.

The man still said nothing but slapped the betting table forcefully.

The aning was clear, "Give the money."

"Go exchange again."

Liu Zheng took out another stack of cash and handed it to the twin-tailed girl.

"Yes, master."

The twin-tailed girl quickly returned with chips again.

"Give it to him."

Liu Zheng pointed at the man and said.

"Yes, master."

The twin-tailed girl poured the chips in front of the man.

And the man once again gathered the chips into a pile, then pushed them onto "Four."

The odds for the three dice totaling "Four" is 1:50, and the probability is 1.4%.

Obviously, the man didn’t plan on winning, just wanted to enjoy himself.

"Open! Open! Open!"

Once again, the gamblers stirred up a commotion.

This ti the croupier was much more relaxed, with a smile, he shook the dice cup and then with a force neither light nor heavy, placed it on the tray.

"Open!"

The croupier called out, revealing the dice cup.

Then, his smile froze on his face.

Two one one, four points.

"Hiss!"

A chorus of inhaling sounds rose around the betting table.

This ti the chips Liu Zheng exchanged were exactly one hundred thousand, aning the man just earned five million dollars.

With this, not only could he repay all his debts, but also live a life of luxury for the rest of his days.

"Ha."

However, facing such good fortune, the man rely sneered and turned to leave.

"Mr. Shi Yidao, don’t you want your chips?"

Liu Zheng asked.

"Those are your chips, they’re none of my business."

The man finally spoke, his tone indifferent.

"Since it’s placed through your hand, the winnings naturally belong to you. If you insist on being generous, how about we split it fifty-fifty?"

"You scum from the Bloody Restaurant, what do you want to do?"

The man glared at him and asked.

"How about we talk sowhere quieter?"

Liu Zheng suggested.

"Whatever."

The man replied flatly.

"Do you have a private room?"

Liu Zheng turned to ask the twin-tailed girl.

"Yes, we do, master."

Having witnessed a five-million-dollar win or loss, the twin-tailed girl was also sowhat exhilarated.

"Find us a private room, this is yours."

He took out a chip worth ten thousand dollars and tucked it into the twin-tailed girl’s chest.

"Alright, I’ll arrange it right away."

The twin-tailed girl sped off to the second floor, her twin tails fluttering in the air like dragonflies.
