"After following all this way, you finally decide to show yourself."

Liu Zheng raised an eyebrow.

"It’s our duty."

The Hunter Captain replied calmly.

"Does your duty also include preventing residents from going ho?"

He said.

"First of all, you are not a resident of Yate. Secondly, the man you knocked out is a hunter. Although he is not a Church Hunter, we still have a duty to help."

The Hunter Captain said.

"Where were you when he was going crazy just now? And, this little girl is his daughter. Flora, do you want to help your father, or these guys?"

Liu Zheng turned his head and asked.

"Of course it’s Mr. Liu Zheng."

Flora crisply replied.

"See, she doesn’t need your help."

He spread his hands towards the Hunter Captain.

"She’s just a child; she doesn’t have the ability to discern right from wrong."

The Hunter Captain shook his head.

"You talk as if adults have any clue. Speak plainly, what do you want? I’m very busy, and if you continue to waste my ti, don’t bla for not being polite."

Liu Zheng said boldly.

Aweso!

Xia Kai gave him a thumbs up from behind.

Truly a boss, daring to be so arrogant in front of a whole team of fully ard hunters.

Compared to him, his own behavior of hiding behind the graveyard to survive the instance seed utterly craven.

Of course, as much as he admired him, he would still continue to play it safe the next ti.

If you don’t have the life of a boss, don’t catch the illness of one.

"We want to know, how did you cure his Beastification Disease?"

After a mont of silence, the Hunter Captain said.

In fact, he was using all his might to keep himself from showing a shocked expression.

Even though the mobile squad was far away to avoid detection by Liu Zheng, thanks to the Hunters’ exceptional vision, they still witnessed the scene of Father John being rid of his Beastification.

Of course, they didn’t see clearly how Liu Zheng did it, only saw him put his hand into Father John’s mouth.

"I didn’t cure his Beastification Disease; I only temporarily removed the Beastification state."

Liu Zheng shook his head.

"That is surprising enough."

The Hunter Captain said solemnly.

As Church Hunters, they naturally knew so inside information about Beastification Disease.

Beastification is irreversible, and even high-level Blood Healing can only delay this process.

The fact that he could revert a fully Beastified hunter back to normal was as monuntal a discovery as when the Church discovered the mysteries of Blood Healing.

"If I tell you the thod, what can you offer ?"

Liu Zheng asked.

"Wealth, knowledge, Blood Healing, all these we can provide."

The Hunter Captain imdiately responded.

The "Holy Sword" Hunter, as a direct force under Master Beethoven, naturally did not lack these things.

"I don’t need those."

He shook his head.

The treasures of Yate are hard to price in tropolis.

As for knowledge, although the mory shielding of tropolis didn’t affect him, he couldn’t just use or sell Yate’s knowledge outright.

And Blood Healing was even more of an absurd notion, his blood infected by the Beastification Disease repelled by Father John’s blood, and vice versa.

If Liu Zheng dared to accept Blood Healing, even a severe hemorrhage would be considered minor.

The nightmare scenario would be if the system forcibly rged and mutated the bloodlines.

"Then what do you need, just say it; within Yate, the Church can provide a lot of help."

The Hunter Captain said imdiately.

"Is that so? Then I need a large amount of high-quality Blood Gems."

Liu Zheng pondered before responding.

"No problem."

Being directly affiliated with the Church’s Chief Hunter Beethoven, the "Holy Sword" Hunter certainly did not lack Blood Gems.

After all, they often had to enter the Tomr Ruins and battle with the formidable monsters inside.

"That decisive? Then I also need Tomr’s Holy Grail and the Divine Son’s umbilical cord."

He overstepped his bounds.

"The Holy Grail? The umbilical cord?"

The Hunter Captain showed a puzzled expression.

"Has anyone heard of it?"

He turned to ask his subordinates, and the Hunters shook their heads.

"We haven’t heard of what you’re talking about, but we can pass your request to our superiors,"

said the Hunter Captain.

"No need, your superior is already here."

Liu Zheng’s gaze moved past them toward the distance.

A man carrying a great sword was walking towards them.

He had golden curly hair that emitted a faint glow in the darkness, like the legendary Golden Fleece.

His features were as deeply etched as if sculpted, and although they bore the marks of age, they did not diminish his handsoness. Instead, they added a gentle quality to his serious deanor.

The man advanced with asured steps, and although he was walking alone, his presence was as formidable as a cavalry charge.

"Master Beethoven!"

The Hunter Captain exclaid in surprise.

The next second, the line of Hunters automatically split and stood to attention on either side of the road, like soldiers awaiting the inspection of their general.

"Mr. Liu Zheng, you should be careful,"

Anke whispered beside Liu Zheng.

"Why? Is he famous?"

Liu Zheng asked.

"Indeed, he is Beethoven, the Chief Hunter of the Blood Healing Church, and probably the most powerful Hunter in history,"

Anke replied.

"The most powerful Hunter, huh."

He looked towards Beethoven, indeed feeling a powerful aura emanating from him.

Especially the great sword on his back, which gave him a very dangerous feeling.

"That might be worth a fight to test."

Liu Zheng said, moving his limbs.

The enemies he had encountered since entering Yate had been too weak, or were like Father John, who were difficult to strike fatally.

If he could fight this Chief Hunter of the Church, he could also confirm his own level of strength.

While Liu Zheng was contemplating, Beethoven had already approached.

"Patrolling is hard work, knights,"

he first said to the Hunters.

Referring to his own Hunters as knights was a personal habit of "Holy Sword" Beethoven.

Because he always set ancient knightly heroes as his own standard and expected the sa from the "Holy Sword" Hunters he personally trained.

"It’s our duty,"

the Hunters responded in unison, their expressions excited.

Many in the "Holy Sword" Hunters were locals of Yate, and their feelings towards the Blood Healing Church and Hunters were quite complex.

It was Beethoven’s personal charisma that attracted them to join the Church Hunter force.

"I’ve heard of your situation, foreigner. In these troubled tis, I do not appreciate your actions disturbing the peace of the residents,"

Beethoven said, looking at Liu Zheng.

"Are you sure that in a place where there are Beasts everywhere and even your own people could turn into Beasts at any mont, the residents really have any peace?"

he retorted with a sneer.

The "Holy Sword" Hunters showed anger; this outsider dared to speak to Master Beethoven with such disrespect.

"That is our fault, but it doesn’t justify you entering people’s hos,"

Beethoven countered calmly.

"Indeed, but I had no choice. You have your duties, and I have my job,"

Liu Zheng shrugged.

"What is your job?"

"Helping a restaurant procure supplies."

"Have you finished that?"

Beethoven asked.

"I’ve completed part of it, but the rest is sowhat hard to find,"

he replied.

"Perhaps we can help you search. Great Archbishop Alia has asked to invite you to the Church, she wants to speak with you face-to-face,"

Beethoven said.

"Master Beethoven."

The Hunter Captain suddenly approached from behind and whispered in his ear.

"What?!"

Surprise rarely seen on Beethoven’s composed face appeared.

"Can you cure the Beastification Disease?"

He stared intently at Liu Zheng, his great sword glowing brightly due to his inner turmoil.
