Now reading: Chapter 373 - 335 I’m a Delivery Guy, So It Makes Sense That from The world has turned into Hell's Game, why should I stay human?, a Fantasy novel by Runaway Bottle.

The ink from the cannonball automatically gathered onto the bone hand, sticking it to the cannonball like glue.

Liu Zheng tried hard to pull, attempting to yank the sea monster free.

anwhile, the sea monster’s tentacles curled even tighter, like a bizarre blooming bud.

"Initiate a strength contest."

The voice of the Sea Maiden finally rang out again.

Four ten-sided dice appeared above the heads of Liu Zheng and the sea monster, then started spinning on their own.

"Almighty God of Dice, I am willing to exchange a lifeti of silence from Ghost Hand for one successful roll."

He quickly prayed in his mind.

After all, Ghost Hand couldn’t talk, so trading its silence didn’t matter.

The dice soon stopped spinning.

Liu Zheng’s score was 87, while the sea monster’s was 56.

"Player number 2 wins the strength contest."

The Sea Maiden announced the result.

Innurable ink spots seeped from Liu Zheng’s bone joints, then turned into black flas.

His bone mass evaporated in the black fire, and his skeleton beca even finer.

However, in this explosive unleashing that spared no expense, his power increased further.

"Ha!"

With a loud shout, Liu Zheng flexed all three bone hands at once and finally yanked the sea monster out of the water, hurling it towards the pirate ship.

The sea monster struggled mightily in the air, but upon being completely removed from the water, its strength beca much weaker and feeble.

Invisible sound waves spread through the air, filled with terror.

Neither its growth experiences nor the knowledge within its bloodline had ever prepared it for this experience.

Unfortunately, it wouldn’t have the chance to pass this experience on.

Liu Zheng raised the bone hand, caught the hurtling sea monster, and then bit down hard.

With one bite, he took off its eyes and half its head, swallowed the flesh, which then turned into purple bloodlines that spread from his vertebrae to his entire body.

Soon, the entire sea monster larva disappeared amidst Liu Zheng’s wild consumption, becoming part of his body.

But, the battle wasn’t over.

After a brief sense of satisfaction, a deep emptiness took hold of him.

The purple bloodlines didn’t beco bones; they kept flickering with light, seemingly responding to sothing deep in the sea.

Liu Zheng also felt the calling of this sea region, beckoning him to complete integration with the ocean.

"No way."

After thinking, he exertively took control of his body.

Droplets of ink erged again and, like herding sheep, drove the bloodlines towards his feet, eventually expelling them from his body.

Once the bloodlines left Liu Zheng’s body, they automatically integrated into the hull of the pirate ship.

And the broken parts of the pirate ship were automatically repaired, except the repaired parts all sprouted suckers similar to the tentacles’.

"Huh?"

As the pirate ship finished repairing itself, Liu Zheng was surprised to find that he had rged with the pirate ship.

"What the hell is this?"

He couldn’t help but ask.

No one knew what was happening, not even the Sea Maiden.

After a long silence, her voice finally rang out.

"The instance storyline has branched into an unknown direction, hence it is temporarily closed for adjustnts. Rewards will be settled after the instance is refined, and the next round of the campaign will continue."

As dizziness overwheld him, Liu Zheng felt his perspective pulling farther and farther away.

Before his view left the world of the instance completely, he saw a pirate ship with a bone flagpole sailing towards the horizon of the vast sea.

In a daze, a slender and moist palm grasped his tentacle and pulled him out.

"You really are sothing else, always stirring up trouble no matter what you do."

The Sea Maiden said speechlessly.

"I’d also like to play normally, if only my strength would allow it."

Liu Zheng boasted arrogantly.

Although actually, it was his dice luck that wouldn’t allow it.

"Save that line for the boss."

The Sea Maiden said irritably.

"So did I clear this or not?"

He asked.

"I don’t know either, but it seems like you did? The boss didn’t seem angry when he communicated with ."

The Sea Maiden pondered then spoke.

"That’s good enough for . I’m off then."

Liu Zheng nodded.

As long as no one was picking at him, he was okay; rewards didn’t matter, with or without them.

After all, Liu Zheng had fulfilled his promise, and those three players still had to help him find soone; the trip hadn’t been in vain.

"You’re just going to leave like that?"

The sea lady gave him a faint glance.

"What, you gonna offer a al too?"

Liu Zheng rubbed his head and asked.

"We only have staff als, we can’t give them to outsiders."

The sea lady glanced at him disdainfully.

"So, are you inviting to use your restroom? But now that you ntion it, I really do need to take a shit, got a toilet on the second floor?"

Liu Zheng clutched his butt as he asked.

"No. Go ask the stupid bat yourself on the first floor."

The sea lady said expressionlessly.

"Oh. Well, you keep up the good work, I’m off to take a shit."

He dashed downstairs, ignoring the death glare that followed him from behind.

After he emptied his inventory, he walked out of the gaming house, feeling refreshed.

"I’m off then, Witch."

Liu Zheng looked up to greet her and walked on, only to bump into an invisible wall.

He raised his head again and t the Witch’s scrutinizing gaze.

Liu Zheng didn’t speak, but silently prepared himself for combat.

If they couldn’t co to an agreent, he’d start an instance. He had troubled enough big shots, one more wouldn’t make a difference.

Ti ticked by slowly, but Liu Zheng wasn’t in a rush.

After all, he was more or less done with his tasks, as long as it wasn’t past the delivery ti limit.

Fortunately, the Witch didn’t have much patience either.

She raised her hand and took off her head.

A salty and fishy sll of sea water sprayed out from her neck, falling like rain.

Liu Zheng got soaked, but he casually wiped the seawater from his face and suddenly found a golden belt in his hand.

"Na: Animating Golden Belt"

"Type: Equipnt"

"Quality: Fine"

"Effect One: Transforms into a rope to automatically bind targets (please be aware that the target breaking free in this form may damage the equipnt)."

"Effect Two: Floats around the player, blocking flying projectiles."

"Remark: Don’t use such a precious piece of alchemy for weird stuff, hey!"

"Can it be taken out of the instance: Yes"

"Nice item."

His eyes lit up.

It had both binding and defensive capabilities, and it was even an intelligent piece of equipnt.

Though the possibility of the equipnt getting damaged was new to him.

Speaking of which, even if Liu Zheng had been smashed into minceat, the equipnt on him always stayed intact; probably thanks to the system’s protection.

"Thanks, Witch."

Getting good gear had dispelled much of Liu Zheng’s anger.

In the tropolis, forcing a sale was nothing unusual, as long as the goods were authentic and of good quality.

What he did himself was just a bit more forceful delivery.

The Witch held her head, but did not put it back, instead watching him quietly.

"Um, Witch, is there anything else? Or maybe, should I help you put your head back on?"

Liu Zheng asked cautiously.

The corners of the Witch’s mouth seed to twitch, and then she lifted her foot.

An invisible force struck his sphincter, kicking him out of the gaming house and beyond the three-bag range of the doorstep.

"No need to help if you don’t want to, but why kick? Bosses these days are so impolite."

Liu Zheng shook his head and headed towards Jidao Public Bath.

Having just emptied his inventory, it was the perfect ti to soak in a bath and get a massage.

And the Witch just stood there, holding her head, watching his departing figure until he completely left the street.

She turned her head and looked at her neck.

The sea water sprayed forth again, not scattering, but gathering into a towering pillar.

Within the water column, a boat small enough to fit in one’s palm wobbled, with a striking white bone mast.

Noticing the Witch’s gaze, the mast collapsed into a four-ard, three-handed skeleton.

He locked eyes with the Witch coldly, as countless ink spots seeped out of his body onto the deck, and a black tentacle ramming horn sprouted at the bow of the ship.

The little skeleton gestured forward, and the ship burst out of the water column, charging towards the Witch.

As it flew, the ship grew larger.

By the ti it reached the Witch, it was the size of a human head.

The Witch calmly opened her mouth, a withered, ancient arm reaching out from within to seize the boat, then dragged it into her mouth.

The Witch closed her mouth, put her head back on, twisted it a few tis to ensure it was back in place, and turned back into a statue.

The wind died down and the rain ceased, as if nothing had happened.
