Now reading: Chapter 820 - 556: Liu Zheng: What If I Want Them All? (Part from The world has turned into Hell's Game, why should I stay human?, a Fantasy novel by Runaway Bottle.

"Additionally, for inorganic life, the Aken Gemstone is a great supplent that can enhance their essence or even directly evolve them."

"Inorganic? Does that include Stone Essence?"

Liu Zheng had a sudden flash of insight.

"It should."

The projectionist replied.

"I see~"

His mind raced with possibilities.

General Services ntioned that the Stone Spirit Clan has a talent for finding Mountain Cores and that they reside in the Ten Thousand Great Mountains.

With their help, completing the task from General Services would definitely be much easier.

"What if I agree to accept the bidding?"

Liu Zheng asked.

"You can agree now, or wait a bit longer. Personally, I suggest you wait a little longer."

The projectionist said.

"Alright, then I’ll wait a bit longer."

He respected the professional’s opinion, while feeling a bit of anticipation in his heart.

An auction item that made his heart skip arrived so soon; there must be even better ones coming, right?

Under Liu Zheng’s expectant gaze, a collector joined the bidding.

"I’ll offer one of my tails!"

A tiger covered in green, orange, and brown patterns raised its sign.

"Wow, that’s intense?"

He couldn’t help but look at the tiger’s tail, only to find its rear obscured by the chair.

"This is a gecko, whose tails can regrow, much like a Black Mountain Goat Cub."

The projectionist said.

"Although I’ve read little, I still know a bit about biology."

Liu Zheng said, squinting.

"A gecko isn’t supposed to be a pointy-headed, bulging-eyed reptile?"

"Yes."

The projectionist nodded.

"Then how can you call it a gecko? Is its na Gecko?"

"Gecko’s father is a house lizard, and its mother is a white tiger."

Geckos often dwell in corners of human residences, feeding on mosquitoes. Ancient peoples referred to them as ’house guardians’ because of their behavior.

"Wow, pairing a small pump with a big tire."

Liu Zheng saluted Gecko’s father with respect.

"And because it’s a hybrid, it’s hard for it to have offspring."

"I know, like a mule."

He nodded.

A mule is the hybrid offspring of a donkey and horse, unable to undergo normal iosis due to abnormal chromoso numbers, resulting in reproductive isolation.

Of course, high infertility doesn’t an complete infertility. A male mule definitely can’t reproduce, but a female mule mating with a male horse has occasional successful cases, though the offspring often aren’t fully viable.

"So is it male or female?"

Liu Zheng asked.

"It should be male, right?"

The projectionist wasn’t entirely sure either.

For those attending the auction, changing or hiding one’s gender is too easy.

"Whatever, male or female doesn’t matter anymore."

Regardless of whether the rmaid’s first tear works on Gecko, it’s already bid on it anyway.

"Assess it for ."

Liu Zheng said.

"Alright. The gecko’s tail, once implanted, can absorb one fatal injury and temporarily enhance the implant receiver’s running speed to not exceed that of Gecko itself."

The projectionist quickly provided an assessnt.

"How fast can Gecko itself run?"

He asked further.

"In the last tropolis animal track and field event, Mr. Gecko won a third of the gold dals."

The projectionist offered a point of reference.

"Aweso."

tropolis is full of talent, and to achieve such results even in a restricted track and field event speaks volus about Gecko’s speed.

"What to do? I really want this too."

Liu Zheng found himself torn.

The effect of absorbing fatal damage goes without saying; you can never have too many life-saving tools.

The effect of temporarily boosting running speed is also great and might just let him win another Golden Champion dal from Dragonfly Captain.

"Heh heh, feel the allure of the auction yet?"

French Plane Tree saw through his thoughts.

"Felt it."

Liu Zheng nodded vigorously.

Truly a collector’s gala, the items casually brought forth made his heart skip a beat.

"I offer a recomndation letter."

A middle-aged man with glasses, dressed like a scholar, raised his sign.

"Choose any university, as long as you pass the interview, you’ll surely get admitted."

He continued.

"Hey, doesn’t that count as Extraordinary Items?"

Gecko questioned.

"The auction house never stipulated that only Extraordinary Items could participate in bidding."

The scholar said indifferently.

"Then according to you, I can just bring out a box of gemstones to bid, worth ten of your recomndation letters."

The dwarf sneered.

When it cos to financial power, they’re really not afraid of anyone, having extensively mined and tunneled for years.

"Ha, crude dwarfs like you know nothing of the value of my recomndation letter."

The scholar said dismissively.

"I reckon you know nothing about how hard my hamr is!"

The dwarf was so angry his beard bristled, reaching for his waist, only to find it empty.

"Guess why I allow you to carry weapons into the auction. Rick, spit out this guy’s hamr."

Penguin Captain ordered.

A penguin with a V-shaped dent on its head, looking smarter than a husky, hopped onto the table and spat out a short-handled hamr covered with saliva.

"Hiss!"

Penguin Rick appeared, and the collectors present gasped.

This penguin, having escaped the ntal asylum several tis, is undoubtedly tropolis’s most dangerous animal.

"Shaa!"

Penguin Rick spun its tongue around the room, saliva drooling over the table.

"Alright, Rick, put your tongue away."

Penguin Captain ordered.

Penguin Rick imdiately closed its mouth and stood behind Penguin Captain.

"You heard what my brother said? If you argue again, do it in its stomach."

Penguin Captain threatened.

"Captain, how do you assess this?"

The dwarf asked.

"Kawas, tell them."

Penguin Captain stated.

"Yes, Captain. Cough, objection is reasonable. Following the auction’s consistent rules, overly mundane items like a recomndation letter do not qualify for bidding."

A tall penguin with a rounded head and clear eyes also jumped onto the table, clearing its throat and said.

"Did you hear that?"

The dwarf looked smugly at the scholar.

"Hmph, then I’ll switch to this."

The scholar didn’t argue but instead took out a magnifying glass from his briefcase.

"What’s this?"

Liu Zheng asked.

"True Magnifying Glass, when it illuminates an object, the object’s volu is enlarged, with lower quality items being magnified more; however, it may fail on Extraordinary Items."

The projectionist said.

"If it fails, will the magnifying glass be damaged?"

"No, it won’t affect future use, and can be tried repeatedly."

The projectionist replied.

"Okay then."

His heart was stirred again.

The effect of enlarging dinsions may sound trivial, but its practical value is imnse.

For example, the Miniature Aken Gemstone brought out by the dwarf, its value easily increases tenfold if its size is doubled.

And that Epoch Acorn; if it beca fist-sized, French Plane Tree might go from street fighter to district demolisher after consuming it.

"Ti’s almost up, anyone else want to bid?"

The Penguin Captain asked loudly.

The collectors present had varied expressions but made no further bids.

"Alright. Does the seller have an interest in any of these three items?"

The Penguin Captain asked again.

"If you have no interest in any, the auctioneer will announce a pass. If you do, it will move to the final stage. But if you express no interest after entering the final stage, a service fee of one hundred thousand will be added."

The projectionist reminded.

"Understood, I’m interested."

Liu Zheng nodded.

Any of these three items would be much more useful to him than the rmaid princess’s first tear.

The projectionist confird and inford the room.

"If the seller is interested in a trade, then after counting down from three, this round will be concluded and move to the final stage."

"Three!"

"Two!"

"One!"
