"I'll deal with Qiu Tu, Sindo goes up against Qing Lan and Candle Dance, you stall Zhi Yan."
"I think we can still fight this battle."
i La heard this, opened her mouth, wanting to say sothing.
But Guang Chan seed to have already guessed her thoughts and cut her off right away, "Say no more, I've made up my mind."
"Besides, it's not like I absolutely have to fight Qiu Tu to the death."
"My plan is to fight him first, let him see our strength. Then take the chance to propose leaving."
"If we skip the fight and just beg for rcy, he'll walk all over us, making unreasonable demands."
"But after a fight, once he recognizes our strength and weighs the risks, he'll be much quicker to let us go."
Hearing Guang Chan's words, Sindo chid in from the side, "Exactly. If we don't show how powerful we are and Qiu Tu underestimates us, he'll directly force us to make an 'Oath,' demanding our loyalty. How are we supposed to deal with that?"
Seeing Sindo also support Guang Chan, i La's face couldn't help but shift through various emotions.
Deep down, her instincts told her that things could really go wrong if this continued. But…instincts aren't sothing you can quantify, nor are they enough to convince others.
In fact, even if she reasoned it out, she felt Guang Chan's plan was sowhat feasible—definitely more sensible than surrendering outright.
So she hesitated, hesitated again, and hesitated once more—then finally sighed and agreed.
Thus, with their front unified again, the four began to recover after their exertions, waiting for Qiu Tu's descent.
They believed, with Qiu Tu's 'Domain Master' abilities, their every move would be watched by him.
And four gods at full strength—let alone Qiu Tu's so-called Eighth-Rank Peak, even a real Eighth-Rank Peak would have to treat this cautiously.
So, most likely, Qiu Tu would appear on his own, taking the initiative to make the first move and settle things early.
Their plan seed sound, but…everything turned out completely differently than they'd expected.
The four sat quietly restoring their power, and as ti passed, their auras grew steadily stronger—yet Qiu Tu never showed up.
At one point, they wondered if Qiu Tu, seeing they were really ready to fight it out, had lost his nerve and decided not to act against them.
So they tried to see if they could leave the 'Sangma Region,' but…the answer was still no.
And so…a bold guess started to take shape in their minds: Could it be…that Qiu Tu was deliberately giving them ti to recover, planning to crush them at their peak?
This suspicion unsettled them—themselves included.
After all, just how confident would Qiu Tu have to be to act like this?
But…it really was the most reasonable explanation.
And so, in this uneasy and anxious mood, the four gods spent more than half an hour recovering one after another.
When the last god—Sindo—slowly opened his eyes, the skies over the 'Sangma Region' seed to sense it, then gradually darkened.
Layer after layer of dark clouds churned and roiled, forming a massive vortex in the sky.
The cloud vortex pressed downwards, the clouds shifting from gray to black, until the whole sky was swallowed in darkness!
Next second, the black clouds spun down from the high heavens like a waterfall, crashing to the ground! Then transforming into black mist, they rapidly spread in all directions!
The four gods instantly slipped back, putting distance between themselves and the black mist!
Monts later, as the mist cleared, the small group led by Qiu Tu appeared before the four gods.
Qiu Tu stood in front, expressionless, looking at the four like they were already dead.
Qing Lan and Zhi Yan stood behind him, their faces filled with astonishnt.
Last ca Candle Dance and…Princess Xi, a little dazed but now physically whole, unmistakably resurrected.
The mont they saw Princess Xi, not only was she stunned, but the four gods were a bit dumbfounded too.
They'd seen Princess Xi die with their own eyes—how was she alive again?
Did Qiu Tu save her?
So…is his Cataclysmic ability related to resurrection, to life?
If so, then this ability is terrifyingly strong.
Unable to make sense of it, the four gods were left with a storm of questions swirling in their minds.
But before they could unravel it, Qiu Tu spoke first.
Qiu Tu looked at the four gods, face utterly cold, with a gaze that held not a trace of warmth.
He stared at the four as if they were already corpses and then said, "Did I just hear soone say they want to show what they're capable of?"
On hearing Qiu Tu's words, the twin Sindo brothers turned to him in unison, responding chanically, "Please don't misunderstand, Lord Qiu, we truly don't want to be your enemies."
"We only wish to prove our strength, resolve our misunderstanding, and gain the power to leave the 'Sangma Region.'"
"Perhaps Lord Qiu doesn't know us—we're high-ups of the 'Northeast Region—Heavenly Punishnt Alliance.' In our 'Heavenly Punishnt Alliance'…"
"Noisy!" Before Sindo could finish introducing his side, Qiu Tu coldly cut him off.
