Seeing this, Larilo was totally perplexed, and Qiu Tu... was just as baffled—he had no idea when he'd ended up at the desk.
The only one in the room with a calm face was Zhao Ji, holding a report, focused intently.
Then, like she'd only just heard Larilo's words, she looked up, coldly gazed at Larilo, and spoke: "What are you talking about?"
"We're working."
She paused, then shot back, "Actually, you're the one—why are you barging in here at midnight and interrupting us?"
Not gonna lie, Zhao Ji's aura was way too strong, and her face way too serious, so Larilo had no idea how to reply for a mont.
She opened her mouth, wanting to argue and ask more questions, but she honestly didn't know where to start.
