Eighth Sanctuary. Supre Council. "Lin" 1026 eting.
This was a temporary eting convened by the Supre Sanctuary Council of the Eighth Sanctuary.
However, the eting was of high standard, not only were all the council mbers present, but several Deputy Speakers, along with the Speaker, Rao Shou, were also in attendance.
Rao Shou was an elder with a celestial air about him, appearing kind and benevolent, his re presence imparted a warm and affable feeling.
But in fact, it was sowhat the opposite. As the representative of the "Iron-Blood Faction" of the Eighth Sanctuary, Rao Shou's thods were always bloody and ruthless.
Born in the military, he used to be the largest warlord in the region, commanding a heavily ard and well-equipped force.
Even after the establishnt of the Eighth Sanctuary, when various warlords and ard forces were reford into the military, he still retained the largest military authority in the Sanctuary.
And the leaders of various factions within the military were mostly his disciples and grand-disciples.
For instance, Ye Mingfeng, was a "disciple" he had taken a liking to in recent years.
This was a true champion who, with his own strength, impressively commanded the respect of other influential figures.
Sitting beside Rao Shou were five Deputy Speakers, representing the other five major factions of the Sanctuary: the Fengtian Faction, Free Democracy Faction, Local Ard Alliance, Academic Faction, and Reformist Faction.
These five factions held most of the power in the three major institutions of the Sanctuary. It was their cooperation, compromise and competition with each other, that had allowed the Eighth Sanctuary to develop rapidly in just over a decade.
Among them... Wang Guochuan, the leader of the "Reformist Faction" whom Qiu Tu had t before, was seated in the last position among the Deputy Speakers.
The atmosphere during the eting was slightly different from that of previous ones, which always seed tense and ready for conflict.
But this ti, most were engrossed in studying several reports in their hands and occasionally offering their own views, providing new ideas for others.
For example, a council mber from the military's "Iron-Blood Faction" openly praised the "Boundless Heart Sea Developnt Plan" submitted by Ye Mingfeng and Dai Yukang.
He acclaid it as one of the most valuable plans for the Eighth Sanctuary in recent years.
Similarly, an "Reformist Faction" mber from the City Hall lauded the feat of Liu Xiongyuan commanding and slaying Larilo.
Claiming it to be the most outstanding combat plan of the Eighth Sanctuary in the past two years.
Of course, in addition to praising individuals from their own factions, they also discussed the authenticity and feasibility of these reports and proposals.
The outco of the discussions was, of course, that the reports were genuine and the proposals were feasible.
So mbers expressed concerns that the "Boundless Heart Sea Developnt Plan" might be too aggressive, especially since the true intentions of the Evil God had not been verified. If they entered the "Boundless Heart Sea" rashly, it could lead to disastrous losses.
But... opportunity always cos with risks, so even though others shared these concerns, in the end, they felt that such a once-in-a-lifeti chance should not be missed.
The Speaker and the five Deputy Speakers listened quietly to the council mbers' discussions throughout.
But judging by their consistently unopposed deanor, they seed inclined to proceed with the plan.
So, by the end of the eting, the mbers' discussions had shifted from the feasibility of the plan to the idea of inviting so experts, and having Ye Mingfeng and Dai Yukang give a remote presentation of the entire plan, before finally deciding on this "Grand Developnt Plan."
At that mont, a mber from the Investigation Bureau's "Academic Faction," noted a blind spot in several reports.
He pointed to the na "Qiu Tu" that appeared several tis in the reports, then said, "I think it's fine for Ye Mingfeng and Dai Yukang to explain the plan to us... "
"But what about inviting Qiu Tu to share his thoughts as well?"
"I just checked his identity. He is a local, born and bred in Xinjie City, and beca an investigator when Xinjie City was established."
"In just a year, he advanced rapidly and eventually beca the Deputy Director of the Political Departnt."
"And in several reports, both Liu Xiongyuan and Ye Mingfeng have ntioned him."
"If ti allows, perhaps we could let him share his opinions as well."
Most council mbers paid little attention to the suggestion.
After all, a Deputy Director from the ordinary city's Investigation Bureau Political Departnt was too far removed from their ranks, and with everyone's busy schedules, finding the ti to listen to Ye Mingfeng and Dai Yukang's reports was already comndable.
Thus, the suggestion was quickly passed over. The council mbers turned their attention back to the "Boundless Heart Sea Developnt" plan.
However, what the mbers present failed to notice was that when the "Academic Faction" mber ntioned the na "Qiu Tu," two Deputy Speakers seated in the front row exhibited contemplative expressions.
They continued listening to the mbers' discussions while skimming through the reports, pausing at the parts ntioning the na Qiu Tu.
Among these two Deputy Speakers, one was Elder Wang Guochuan, the "Reformist Faction" leader whom Qiu Tu had previously t.
The other was... Tang Xingyun, the leader of the "Fengtian Faction"....

anwhile, as the temporary eting of the Supre Sanctuary Council proceeded apace.
Qiu Tu was not idle either.
After learning that Ye Mingfeng and Dai Yukang had agreed to collaborate, he eagerly headed to the Security Departnt to claim a vial of the Cataclysmic Potion.
The na of this Cataclysmic Potion was "Spiritual Sense Sharpening," designed to greatly enhance one's Spiritual Perception, allowing one to sense danger in advance or detect the Power of Change.
