Du Heng glanced at Du Jun's wife on the bed, then pulled Du Jun outside and whispered, "My sister-in-law is very weak right now, and she has been possessed by evil qi. This was just too much!
Du Jun stood there, stunned, while Du Heng and Du Ping nearly burst out laughing. They hadn't expected the potentially awkward situation to be resolved so easily.
After leaving the house, Du Ping took one of the boxes, and he and Du Heng shared a smile.
Yu Haiting, however, didn't understand what his two companions were laughing about. He quietly asked, "Dean, what did you an by your last words just now?"
Du Heng pursed his lips, then smiled faintly. "It was nothing. I just wanted Du Jun to treat his wife better and stop causing her trouble. That's all."
"Oh." Yu Haiting was still a little confused.
Du Heng didn't plan to explain further and said directly, "Let's go. We'll head to my place first, then we'll leave together."
Yu Haiting rubbed his hands, smiling. "It's my first ti visiting your house, Dean, and I didn't prepare any gifts. I'm a little embarrassed."
