Now reading: Chapter 137 - 12: Signing the Contract (Part 2) from This Giant Dragon is So Powerful!, a Fantasy novel by New Furnace Old Fire.

Is my eldest son really born with such an exaggerated talent? Looking at this physique, could he have already achieved Legendary Power?

Leanna began to feel envious... then envy gradually turned into jealousy and... suspicion. She thought it was still too exaggerated; how could anyone have Legendary Power in just eleven or twelve years? Even humans can’t reach that speed.

This body and muscle, could it all be just for show?

Despite her doubts, Leanna held back the urge to test things out, considering Udi’s physique was truly intimidating, plus there was indeed an overwhelming presence coming from the opposite side; weak he couldn’t be.

"So, why did you co back looking for ? Do you want my treasure or are you just in heat, unable to find a female dragon, wanting to climb on ?" Leanna asked coldly.

Giant Dragons don’t follow human moral ethics. Humans avoid close-relative marriages because the probability of their offspring having diseases and physical defects increases significantly, unlike dragons. Dragon genes, not to ntion close relatives, can blend with insubstantial ghosts to easily give birth to offspring, completely unobstructed, free from all restrictions.

It’s often found that if two close-relative giant dragons have noble bloodlines, their offspring’s talent becos even more terrifying, benefiting the spread of the clan’s bloodline.

Udi grinned, unfazed by Leanna’s bluntness, having accepted so much knowledge of Dragon Race heritage over the years, he truly couldn’t be shocked. Within the heritage knowledge were things far more shocking, that this ranked far below in surprise.

"If I have such needs, I’d naturally find other female creatures to resolve them. To not lie to you, my territory has over a hundred beauties from different races, too many to have ti to indulge all." Udi retorted, snorting.

But upon hearing this, Leanna looked even more mockingly, "They’re presumably low-level races, right? Is it worth boasting mating with those low-level races?"

"...Let’s not talk about that; I ca to discuss serious matters." Udi felt at a loss for words, unable to retort against Leanna, for whether it’s humans or Aegean Beastn or Harpies, in the eyes of the dragon race, they’re indeed low-level races, mating with them akin to mating with bugs. Unless one reaches Legendary status. By reaching Legendary, the life tier ascends. Though one’s race remains human, in a dragon’s view, they’re no longer human but a new race, an advanced human.

Udi stopped bantering with Leanna and outlined the reason for his visit.

"You provide a powerful subordinate army?" Leanna’s look turned peculiar. Initially intending to speak about what powerful subordinates a teenage dragon cub could possibly have, let alone a subordinate army, but seeing the opponent’s impactful physique, Leanna held back those words, even starting to doubt, is it possible?

If truly possessing Legendary Power, further willingly recruiting so powerful subordinates, then it seems... really feasible?

"Indeed, I’ll provide you a powerful subordinate army; you lend your Spiritual Monk profession to research for a period. How does this trade seem to you?" Udi nodded slightly.

"Heh, you’re dreaming; a re subordinate legion can be made if I wish just so, yet you wish to exchange it for such a precious profession." Leanna sneered several tis, directly refusing.

Udi raised an eyebrow, blandly stating, "It’s three thousand large army, all Level Four. Even if you can nurture such, will you have ti now? Will Yalbit Kingdom specially wait for you to nurture a subordinate legion before creating such a good invasion opportunity for you, or do you plan invading the kingdom with a bunch of trash demons?"

Upon hearing a three thousand strong army, all reaching Level Four, the dragon’s eyes narrowed; astonishnt and temptation arose but she nevertheless shook her head, refusing,

"It can’t earn my profession scroll; the value disparity is too great. As to how I’ll invade the kingdom... heh, that’s not your concern." Leanna didn’t mind how Udi found out about her intent; possibly Gray’s assembling of a monster army was too conspicuous.

"rely letting borrow for a period, not an exchange. We can establish a contract; no need to worry about either party reneging." Udi argued.

"Even so, no way; the value’s unmatched. You simply don’t understand the might and worth of my profession. Three thousand, even thirty thousand subordinate army won’t suffice." Leanna’s refusal was unwavering.

A subordinate army is rely a bunch of cannon fodder. Even if all Level Four, what then? Leanna, with a breath of Dragon Breath, rolling the Dragon Body several tis, could casually slaughter hundreds or thousands. Just heedlessly charging back and forth dozens of tis, the three thousand subordinates would virtually collapse.

To truly make Leanna feel remotely useful, subordinates must minimally reach Advanced levels. That’s why among the thousands of monster subordinates under Leanna, apart from Gray and a few others, the rest are garbage demons from Level 0 to Level 3-4, with Level 0 dominating the majority, despite that she could easily produce a batch of Level 3-4 Dragon Vein Followers just by giving so Dragon Blood and spending so ti. Because to her, Level 0 and Level 3-4 are all cannon fodder.

If all are cannon fodder, why impart precious Dragon Blood? Though ordinary Dragon Blood isn’t considered precious to dragons.

Finding Leanna so adamant, Udi thus abandoned acquiring his long-coveted Spiritual Monk profession. However, this further convinced Udi of the profession’s formidable strength!

So strong, enough for Leanna to refuse three thousand, even thirty thousand subordinate army—although rely borrowing, just to inspect.

Evidently, in Leanna’s eyes, this special profession was not worth any loss, unwilling to undertake the slightest risk.

"Alright, then let’s change terms. Three Upper-tier Magic, for three thousand subordinate army." Udi’s tone bore so regret, yet the trade must continue.

His subordinates were nearing saturation, even forcing him to suppress reproduction speed (mainly suppressing goblins, kobold types inherently weak; giant demons, goatn, celestial dog people, bear goblins types certainly wouldn’t be repressed, rather they’ll be encouraged to reproduce widely, as many as possible).

Rather than repressing reproduction speed, it’s better to bundle them off, having other dragons maintain them, assu responsibility.

Also, a chance to earn so ’hiring money’.

Facing Udi’s reasoning, Leanna hesitated, frowning, "I don’t have Upper-tier Magic."

"I know you don’t, but haven’t you got a chance invading Yalbit Kingdom? If truly unattainable, Middle-tier Magic or any other valuable items also count." Udi grinned, speaking.

Leanna gave him a deep look, pondered a bit, realizing it’s not a loss, and eventually slightly nodded,

"That would work."

Dragons really value their treasures, intolerant of others’ voyeurism; however, if collaborating to acquire others’ treasures, they band together for division. Of course, without a signed contract, evil dragons often beco hostile with companions during treasure acquisition, aspiring to monopolize all treasures themselves.

And Leanna’s thought was, she’d not learn magic, thus using unuseful things to exchange for a fairly strong cannon fodder army, seed worthy.

While looking down on such cannon fodder army, Leanna knew that owning this three thousand strong subordinate army would elevate her safety post-invasion, and enable her to plunder more treasures... it could even directly claim a portion of human cities, enslave thousands of humans, and establish her Dragon Realm.

"Alright, let’s sign the contract." Udi felt a surge of joy; although his best plan didn’t succeed, the current deal was sufficient.

Now being a Tier Nine High Mage, Udi wasn’t far from becoming a High-level Mage, and soon would break through. Currently, he had only one Upper-tier Magic, an attack magic, mainly fire attribute, which didn’t suit him. Hence, he urgently sought other Upper-tier Magic.

Udi’s Dragon Scale flew out, using Spiritual Power to inscribe the contract content. Once everything settled, Leanna confird.

Leanna carefully reviewed the contract content, finding its straightforward aning satisfactory, devoid of any bizarre patterns, imdiately nodded, pleased, transforming Spiritual power into invisible pen signing her true-na code.

Dragons need only extract a portion of a true na for contracts, effectively preventing full true-na exposure from being exploited by the scheming.
