Now reading: Chapter 1072 Divine Game My World 17 from This Life, I Will Be the Protagonist, a Drama novel by Catlove12Fish.

"When you accomplish sothing that makes all the gods keep their eyes on you for a long ti, you will gain a new bullet."

After hearing that answer, the two players present who either owned or had once owned the Foolishness Ga looked at each other and fell into silence at the sa ti.

After a long mont, Rita asked with complete sincerity and not a trace of sarcasm, "If she did not want to give out new bullets, why not just say it directly? I was not that eager for them anyway."

Whether killing Foolishness in March and obtaining the second bullet truly followed this rule was still uncertain. But after that, the most impressive thing she had done was becoming an Adjudicator.

The only Adjudicator.

And yet even that had not drawn the gods’ attention long enough to activate a new bullet.

If Foolishness did not want people to get bullets, she should just say so.

Tingo Autumn Deer looked at BS Rita with the gaze of soone eting a kindred spirit. "Exactly."

Otherwise, how could it have given up the final fragnt so easily? This item was simply too punishing.

Too few bullets, and refilling them was absurdly difficult. Even though Tingo Autumn Deer vaguely suspected the gun was tied to the gods, its patience had long since worn thin.

While they were talking, Tingo Autumn Deer had already handed Delicious Funeral to Rita.

Although Tingo Autumn Deer claid it was willing to take the risk, Rita felt the real reason was that it was confident this divine relic had poor compatibility with her.

The first thing Rita did after taking Delicious Funeral was read its description.

Delicious Funeral Dustfire

"I enjoy sharing food, and I also enjoy sharing death."

She lifted her head with a strange expression and found Tingo Autumn Deer staring at her with anticipation and a clear desire to watch the show.

Rita looked Tingo Autumn Deer up and down several tis. She was certain the deer was a thief just like herself.

"You like sharing?" she asked.

Descriptions of divine relics were sotis vague, but sotis they were painfully straightforward.

Tingo Autumn Deer’s expression turned solemn as it began explaining its philosophy yet again. "Yes. We actually use very few items and curios regularly, but we keep gaining more and more. Eventually, many things stop circulating once they reach us. That is a waste. So anything I have not used within a year, I take out and share with friends, family, and my people."

So Tingo Autumn Deer was into minimalism.

That raised another question for Rita. "Then why did you enter our sacred and noble profession of theft? If you already have more than enough and keep sharing things with other deer, why steal from other players at all?"

Tingo Autumn Deer answered smoothly, "Because if those items stay with them, they will never circulate. I steal them so good things can move again."

Automatic self justification system activated.

Rita had been holding the bowl with both hands out of courtesy. After hearing this explanation from soone who was extrely compatible with the relic, she imdiately stuffed the bowl into the gacha and tossed it into the machine.

In her opinion, Delicious Funeral was even less compatible with her than Whale Falls in the Wind.

At least when pushed into a corner, she was willing to fight. But for most valuable things, even if she did not use them for ten years, she would never give them away.

Her inventory full of assorted junk was proof enough.

She even took half a step back, putting so distance between herself and Tingo Autumn Deer. "Alright. Deal completed. After the ga ends, we will trade the way you suggested. During these days, you can co to anyti to store or retrieve this divine relic."

Her original bottom line had been fifty World Graveyard. She planned to charge one extra each ti Tingo Autumn Deer stored or retrieved it. Since it was willing to give eighty, she did not bother haggling over small details. She expected to be very busy later in the ga anyway.

Tingo Autumn Deer nodded repeatedly. "I knew coming to you was the right call."

Being willing to return Whale Falls in the Wind to Pine Bloom during a transaction showed that this was a player who would not be blinded by greed.

Why force yourself to keep an item that did not suit you, especially a divine relic that clearly possessed so degree of awareness.

...

At eleven, rest ti began. Rita imdiately returned to her room, sat down on the balcony, and placed a small snowman she had made while waiting for the room to unlock beside her.

Nivalis whispered, "Do you feel like today is especially lively?"

Of course it was.

Balconies above, below, and all around were filled with players coming out to watch. So of them were certainly also eyeing the broken moons she was after.

Rita knew her actions were bound to draw curiosity. Her reaction after fainting had been strange as well. Even without obvious signs of excitent, the change in her presence was far too noticeable.

Everyone knew she had gained sothing.

Players close to their worlds might find answers. Those without connections would have to act themselves.

If BS Rita could turn moons into golden apples, how could veteran players with deeper experience lack similar abilities?

And even if they did not have them, they could simply steal the apple from her.

As long as soone possessed a rewind ability that erased the penalty for leaving the war cruise ship, they could attempt it.

Rita propped her chin on her hand and stared at the end of the river of ti.

If Waste Guide were still usable, things would be easier. But if it had not been sealed, she would never have been forced onto a different path. She might still be stubbornly trapped inside Cut the Moonlight.

Could she really keep the golden apple?

Skills could not affect other players, which ant her thods were sealed as well.

She could not use This Cat Right Here for crowd control. She could not twist perceptions or set localized rule changes.

She could not hold it.

At least hundreds of players would target anyone holding such a mysterious resource. The mont the golden apple appeared, it would be stolen.

Fortunately, she did not only have the current moon.

She could teleport back along earlier sections of the river to search for world docks she had missed.

The problem was that the river of ti was constantly shifting, changing every second, just like the constantly flickering illuminated paths she had once seen on the map.

As long as the war cruise ship stayed within her line of sight, it was manageable. But if she went too far, chaos would ensue. Leaving her current position and returning might an the ship would no longer be there.

What about setting a teleport anchor using the Portal skill she had obtained many years ago?

Rita returned to her room and drew a formation as fast as she could.

It activated, then refreshed instantly.

That was the room’s setting. Whenever any stain appeared, it was imdiately reset.

The ink of the formation had been classified as a stain. Incredibly considerate.

She thought of the spotless cruise ship dining hall and the arena, of how the coffee she spilled during her fight with Dawn Cicada earlier had been instantly cleaned. Clearly, this rule applied to the entire ship.

Rita returned to the balcony again. Leaning against the doorfra, she frowned in thought as plan after plan flashed through her mind, along with their respective pros and cons.
