Rita received VIP treatnt in Dawn purely through her own strength.
Not only did she et Dawn Cicada and Dawn Smoke Tune, she also t Dawn Mistblade, Dawn Maple Syrup, Dawn Fat Goose, Dawn Raccoon Cub, and many other forr Lania Kaia employees.
No one knew exactly how long Lania Kaia had been destroyed.
Yet none of these leaders showed any discomfort about it. Their relationship with Dawn Cicada and Dawn Smoke Tune appeared extrely harmonious.
Gradually, Rita sensed a subtle reason why Lania Kaia had always needed to invade other worlds.
Only when the undead beca the invading side against weaker worlds would the Moon Fox, Owlfolk, Sea Sirens, and other races that had once lost to them stand united with the undead.
But if a stronger world invaded them instead, those alliances might collapse instantly.
Partly to protect their own people.
Partly to take the chance to exact revenge against the undead.
Just like Wind Scythe had once done.
Everyone sat together, asking questions back and forth like a trade.
One question from one side, then another in return.
Even though everyone held back certain things, the answers Rita cared about most were revealed.
For example, the gas here were very different.
Between Card Swap and Player Relic, several additional gas had taken place.
After finishing a ga called My World, these players had gone through seven more gas of various kinds.
And yet they had never heard anything about the pendulum.
Another example.
Lania Kaia Wildfire had two pets.
One was an ice dragon.
The other was a chanoid nad B80234615.
Many of its early designations had never been changed.
Another topic was Wildfire’s strength.
Just as Rita suspected, she was no weaker than Dawn Cicada.
And then there was the vine.
Rita had wondered why Dawn Cicada and Smoke Tune had not reacted at all when they saw that she possessed a vine unique to the Vineborne.
Now she understood.
Lania Kaia Wildfire also had a Vineborne vine.
Not only that.
She also possessed Fireglint’s gemstone eye.
Every player knew Deceitful Bloom and Foolishness were her protectors.
Rita thought silently.
...Then why do my umbrellas leak?
"She also has several other teachers," Dawn Smoke Tune explained.
"I’m not sure I know them all, but besides the undead Apache, another well known one is Isolated Isle Lightchaser."
"Isolated Isle Lightchaser?"
This was the first ti Rita openly questioned sothing she heard.
"Did Isolated Isle enter the invasion sequence too?"
She was not surprised that Wildfire had joined Card Swap and beco Lightchaser’s student.
She had already experienced that shock earlier when learning Deceitful Bloom and Foolishness were also her teachers.
Even in another tiline, it seed certain people were destined to et.
Only their relationships shifted.
In this tiline... no.
Lania Kaia Wildfire trusted Deceitful Bloom and Foolishness deeply.
Because Deceitful Bloom wanted her to join Dawn, Wildfire had willingly stepped away from the frontline when Dawn descended.
She stayed only to protect her alchemy teacher and Dragon Island.
Was it because BS had already been destroyed?
Because the entire human race had died at Wildfire’s hands?
So when Deceitful Bloom guided Wildfire toward joining Dawn, his motives still existed.
But those motives caused no harm.
BS was gone.
The humans were gone.
To achieve his goal, Deceitful Bloom did not have to sacrifice anything belonging to Wildfire.
Wildfire could join Dawn without any burden.
In fact, that clear purpose might even feel reassuring.
At least she had a way to repay the kindness she had received.
Even if Deceitful Bloom had never said anything, Wildfire might have tried to repay him anyway.
Just like Rita herself had repaid Apache a hundred tis over.
But if Deceitful Bloom openly asked for it, Wildfire probably would only feel touched by his sincerity.
The reason was simple.
Wildfire had no ho.
No people.
The expectations and attention of these individuals acted like an anchor for her drifting ship.
They kept her from wandering endlessly through the long river of ti.
Did she pursue power?
Probably.
But just like money eventually needs to be spent, power inevitably leads soone to ask what aning or purpose life truly holds.
Otherwise everything becos pointless.
The story had begun the sa.
But because Wildfire had nothing tying her down, everything eventually beca different.
As for Foolishness, Rita still had not heard much about him.
The others likely did not know many details either.
What surprised Rita most was why Isolated Isle had entered the invasion sequence.
In her own tiline, Isolated Isle opened because Rita returned to BS midway through the ga.
Lightchaser and Cinders left Isolated Isle to search for her and bring her back.
That action broke the island’s barrier.
But here?
Why would Wildfire suddenly abandon a ga halfway through and return to Lania Kaia?
"The answer is simple," soone explained.
"Not long after Card Swap ended, that elf discovered the truth about the world."
"So she left Isolated Isle to find Wildfire."
I see.
Rita suddenly rembered the scene from Ask My Heart.
The figure climbing onto the ice dragon’s back.
And the unmistakable ga interface.
The people destined to et still t.
The story still began.
She truly was a player.
Every event and quest in her life seed almost predetermined.
One teacher after another waiting for her to encounter them.
One storyline after another waiting for her to trigger.
But every outco changed because of her choices.
Nothing else had changed much.
The ladder rankings were almost identical to her tiline.
Deceitful Bloom was still Deceitful Bloom.
Lightchaser remained sharp and perceptive.
Nivalis and B80234615 still found their way to her side.
The greatest difference between this tiline and her own was one thing.
Her rebirth.
She had been reborn.
And because of that, the bell arrived earlier.
Everyone still gravitated toward her.
Even though each of them had their own ideals and convictions, they still entered her story.
And her existence.
Her choices.
They could change the course of the ga.
They could alter the direction of the chaotic Star Sea itself.
She was not rely a player.
She should be the sovereign.
What word could describe her better than that?
Sovereign.
She ruled everything.
She decided everything.
She influenced everything.
Rita’s eyes grew brighter and brighter.
The light between her brows flared with the sa brilliance.
At last, she found her divine talent word.
Incomplete Divine Talent: Sovereign
Current Progress 30 percent
Soul Fla 30
Ability One
Save and Load
Save a tiline as your own.
Sovereign may designate a target and retrieve that target’s data from the saved tiline.
The target in the Sovereign tiline can then be temporarily swapped with the corresponding target from the saved tiline.
If Sovereign designates herself as the target, she may summon the alternate version of herself from that saved tiline.
