Looking through the battlefield rankings, Rita thought the general style was similar. No one really stood out as far superior, but at least everyone was better than the bottom two.
While Lightchaser kept coldly smirking at the Foolishness Ga call, Rita took the chance to open her Starsea chest.
She first pulled out so coins and tossed them into the air—Endless Coin—attempting to upgrade today’s rewards. The coins flipped in the air and landed back in her hand. The chest didn’t show much difference in information, but the glow was noticeably brighter.
Next, she used Let It Die to summon today’s lucky bento. Satisfied that it wouldn’t start talking nonsense again, she finally opened the chest fully.
Rita hoped for sothing stronger, but also sothing useful. She didn’t want to replace her current gear if she could help it.
Truth be told, compared to the Starsea chest, what she really wanted was the previous Overlord chest. That was the only way she could evolve her divine talent skills.
Even though battles had reached a whole new level after unlocking divine talents, using them still required soul fire. After Divine Instruction ended, she hadn’t had ti to test the recovery rate. But during their al and chat earlier, Lightchaser had already given her the answer.
Twenty minutes had passed since she had spent all her soul fire searching for the most Brilliance tiline. Lightchaser had only recovered two points.
The chest finally opened, and after a brilliant light show, the reward appeared—a cluster of golden, thread-like leaves.
It looked familiar. Could this be the final form of the golden tree?
Technical Adjustnt: Using this item grants all skills under your current divine talent one adjustnt. Values will be significantly reduced, but the skill will continue to function against targets that have already detached from divine blessing.
A good reward—on par with the ability to redraw her Player Relic.
Combat power updates signaled that player strength had reached a new dinsion.
In Quiet Mountain, 80% of her skills required ultimate abilities. Not because she craved more effects, but because against Quiet Mountain players, most skills wouldn’t work without them.
She bit into the chives with anticipation.
