Although everyone was fighting their own battles, those whose situations weren't imdiately life-threatening all spared a bit of attention to eavesdrop on the argunt between the Ritas.
From BS Rita's earlier exchange with Undead Wildfire to the current clash between Extra Chapter Rita and QM Rita, it was unexpectedly entertaining.
The battlefield of Graveyard of Bones was vast, yet everyone seed to be arranged like the markings of a clock, evenly surrounding the central point: Rita.
To both Starsea and Quiet Mountain players, BS Rita and QM Rita's divine talents had always felt different from the mont they appeared, overwhelmingly strong, almost on another level.
Their abilities touched on order and ti, with absurd ceilings.
But now it was clear.
The mont those abilities involved summoning another self, things started going out of control.
Strong, yes.
But also ridiculously risky.
BS Mistblade, still bound in chains after activating Warden, didn't miss a single detail. She comnted bluntly,
"I don't think it's the ability. I think it's the person being summoned."
QM Smoke Tune agreed.
"It's just helping out. If another version of summoned , I'd gladly help. Even sothing like Extra Chapter… helping myself fight myself sounds fun."
Not far away, BS Cicada joined in.
"With that personality? Full of thorns and a temper like that, and she still dares ask another version of herself for help?"
QM Mistblade said, "The Rita on your side seems pretty mild-tempered though."
Lania Kaia Maple Syrup laughed.
"Oh really? The Rita on your side looks pretty quiet too."
Every Quiet Mountain player's expression twisted at once.
Up in the sky, the gods watching over both sides had their own reactions.
On Starsea's side, Foolishness said to Deceitful Bloom,
"Feeling better about things now?"
"Better about what?"
"If anyone tries to control her, forget you. Even she'll fight herself."
Deceitful Bloom paused.
"…The way you comfort people sotis sounds like mockery."
Foolishness blinked, confused.
"Huh?"
Deceitful Bloom gave a fake smile.
"…And the way you mock people sotis sounds like comfort."
Foolishness nodded gently. "Mm."
anwhile, Boiling Orange whispered to Ashveil,
"What does that burning Sir Callia from Undead Wildfire do?"
Ashveil was about to answer, but suddenly froze, staring at the battlefield below.
Boiling Orange followed her gaze.
The white-gold lightning and blue fla finally dispersed, revealing a figure within.
Still black-haired.
But when her eyes opened, they shone like blue gemstones.
A wind rose from nowhere, carrying countless blue petals drifting through the air. More and more gathered until the entire battlefield was filled with them.
Starsea Deceitful Bloom waved her hand, catching one between her fingers, studying it with interest.
The petal looked identical to Flower Crown Murder, but it was only two centiters long, covered in golden patterns.
With a slight press of her fingers, it turned into a strand of blue fla, laced with golden threads.
Foolishness also picked one up, turning it over.
"Because of Sir Callia?"
"Hard to say. Maybe the gemstone eyes too? Strange that another tiline version of her would have your gemstone eyes."
Deceitful Bloom conjured a small cloud and stored the petal inside, clearly intending to take it back for research.
One wasn't enough.
What if the experint failed?
Thinking that, she casually plucked more petals out of the air, stuffing them into her cloud like picking dishes at a al.
After grabbing dozens, a furious voice rang out from below.
"Deceitful Bloom! That's enough! Stop taking them, I'm fighting down here!!"
Deceitful Bloom clicked her tongue. "So stingy."
QM Deceitful Bloom pointed her staff downward, displeased.
"She dares call our nas directly?"
Starsea Deceitful Bloom stayed silent, holding her cloud.
…Well, she hits too.
With that thought, she grabbed another handful of petals.
"Deceitful Bloom!!!" the voice below shouted again.
Rita had every reason to be furious.
These petals were extrely valuable.
She didn't know what Undead Wildfire had gone through to condense part of her core abilities into that fla and lend it to her.
Cunning Callia:
We linger briefly for love and attention, and through ti we ta the gardener. When an enemy's gaze stays on you for over one minute, any energy you spend on skills against them will be recovered at double the amount from them.
Gem Brilliance:
Attacking the most valuable gem cos at a cost. Whenever a being deals damage to you, the system transfers part of their wealth to you as compensation based on the damage.
These were the effects she saw when entering phase two within the blue fla. One ca from Sir Callia, the other from the gemstone eyes.
After rging with Flower Crown Murder, every petal now carried these effects.
At that mont, QM Rita was sharing scanned information with her team, while all Starsea players secretly listened in.
BS Rita Wildfire Reignite Phase Two:
Uncontrollable, untargetable, immune to ntal debuffs, 100 percent damage reflection, battle frenzy, fatal weak points temporarily reduced by two, soul fire recovery plus 20 percent, dangerous gaze, pay on contact.
QM Rita hesitated slightly when reading the last line.
Extra Chapter Rita asked, "What does pay on contact an?"
The answer ca imdiately.
Her flower sword cut through the blue petals and struck BS Rita, leaving a wound.
Then, with a crisp clinking sound, over a dozen gold coins dropped from the air and disappeared into BS Rita.
So that's what pay on contact ant.
Rita's eyes widened, her mouth forming a small O.
Her gemstone eyes sparkled.
The coins went straight into her account. Divine Ga would hold them for her until withdrawal.
Extra Chapter Rita stared.
"…Did you co to the battlefield to start a business?"
That was just a normal attack. Over a dozen coins.
If she killed soone… would they have to drop equipnt?
QM Rita pinched the bridge of her nose, sounding tired.
"That mind control skill you used before… why not use it now? Didn't it work well?"
That ability had annoyed her for half a month.
She hadn't expected Rita to co up with sothing even more disgusting.
