The legendary weapon [Why Wouldn't It Be a Boorang] ca with both clear strengths and weaknesses.
On one hand, it was an extrely rare and specialized weapon. On the other, if you didn't use its legendary skill, it felt like a classic one-way trip — gone, not coming back.
Even when the skill was used, the weapon's original owner probably hadn't expected soone to take it apart mid-flight, effectively severing its bond. No matter how loudly they yelled "It's !" the weapon simply wouldn't return.
But sothing didn't sit right with Rita.
Wasn't it possible to forcibly intercept and dismantle the boorang even without a theft skill?
If so, shouldn't it have been stolen long ago?
Yet, judging from how devastated the player was while shouting "It's !", they clearly had a strong emotional bond with it and never imagined it could be disconnected like this.
So… maybe you can't dismantle soone else's boorang until its ownership officially transfers?
And maybe shouting "It's !" only works while you still hold ownership — once that breaks, the bond is gone?
Rita wasn't entirely sure. But she had no intention of testing it mid-ga.
Her thod of earning Blocks through raw combat was more efficient — and safer. No need to gamble.
Still, she liked the cooldown reduction and stat boosts the weapon offered. She'd reassemble and equip it after this ga ended.
After the [Family Bucket] effect ended, Rita stopped going wild with her attacks.
Instead, she focused her shots on whatever vehicle Nivalis was chasing — that way, if she landed a kill, she could easily grab the dropped Blocks.
It didn't interfere with the bumper car's main objective, and she still got her reward.
Midway through the ga, [Yes, I'm Fish Belly, what about it?] and [Spring Scenery & Flowers] both expired.
A lee player leapt onto the back of their bumper car.
Rita pulled out a thunder dagger conjured by [Seven-Star Thunder Blade] and went face-to-face with the intruder in close combat.
At the sa ti, B8017913 clambered onto the player's shoulder and stabbed away with its own little knife.
This wasn't the first ti sothing like this had happened.
Turns out Rita was right: as long as a player didn't leave any bumper car for more than 3 seconds, the ga allowed them to leap onto others.
[Midnight Exile] was still running on Rita. After about 7–8 seconds, the attacker vanished — eliminated.
Rita's Stamina was down to 51, and that was after actively conserving it to prepare for the next round of [Family Bucket].
Nivalis had died four tis by this point, but Rita had always managed to pick her up in ti.
She saved all her uses of [Repay] for players who managed to retrieve teammates under heavy interference.
By borrowing their skills, she always managed to recover Nivalis in ti.
By now, she'd collected 108 Blocks — most of them earned during the [Family Bucket] phase.
Nivalis had successfully lit up 7 magic notes.
Suddenly, a broken gong sound rang out. Their car jolted.
B8017913 calmly reported:
"That car behind us has hit us twice now."
Nivalis imdiately turned the wheel and gave up the car she'd been chasing.
According to Rita, it would've been fine to just ignore the threat and keep working on their own notes.
That target had already been chased for over a minute, and they only needed one more hit to light up their eighth note.
But Nivalis didn't hesitate. She backed off.
Rita didn't say anything.
She could sense the pressure Nivalis was under — the desire to do her best and help Rita secure top performance.
There were 100 bumper cars in the ga.
Each car had 10 notes to light.
Which ant — every car represented one note on 10 different players' dashboards.
The fewer tis your car was hit successfully, the more Blocks you'd receive after the ga.
Nivalis had clearly set her expectations high.
Rita saw it all… but said nothing.

Rita glanced at them — sa faction as the one chasing from behind.
Nivalis' hands blurred across the controls.
Their car drifted, spun 180 degrees, and flew past the trailing enemy in a perfect hairpin swerve.
Rita clapped so fast her hands blurred.
"That was sick!"
Nivalis smirked, turned slightly, and muttered toward the open window:
"Rember this — a child of the gods is driving."
Was she filming an ad or sothing?
Nearby players who understood Draconic turned to look.
Rita lowered her head and facepald.
B8017913 tried copying her movent — and was shocked to find it worked.
The mont it covered its face, its jittery feet stopped twitching.
3 minutes left until [Family Bucket] ca off cooldown.
Ti to prep for Round 2 of mass slaughter.
Rita activated:
Arcane: [Magical Echo] — For the next 2 minutes, 30% of damage dealt restores Mana, and the recovered mana can be stored beyond the cap.
Thanks to all the grilled at skewers and dragonfruit she'd eaten earlier, the 18-minute cooldown on [Family Bucket] ended by minute 17 of the ga.
Her Mana fully restored to 100%, with an extra 73% in storage.
[Midnight Exile] had reset and was already stacking again.
For this new round, Rita opened with the SSS-rank single-target skill she earned last ga:

Throws a high-damage piece of bacon that automatically targets and hits the opponent's weakest defense point.
On hit, 20% of damage is converted into a whole wheat stead bun that heals for the sa value.

Arcane version: Converts 35% of damage into healing.
First strike — base [Balanced Nutrition].
A bun the size of a mini milk-puff fell into their bumper car.
Second strike — 5x [Balanced Nutrition].

All three targets were Tier 12 players.
Tough custors. Even 25x damage couldn't finish them.
Both opponents just sat there in a daze, staring at the bacon that had smacked them in the face.
Rita calmly stroked her ring and nocked her bow again.

Instantly, over a hundred slices of bacon began flying across the battlefield.
anwhile, Rita's bumper car was filling up with pale brown whole wheat stead buns — enough to almost bury B8017913 alive.
