Buzz. The sharper Fat Ducks bolted at the exact sa mont as BS-Rita, scattering in all directions.

Sweet Polo snapped out of it and quickly followed.

With the massive gacha machine gone, all the players turned their eyes toward the fleeing ducks.

Maple Syrup’s laughter broke the heavy silence.

Wings made of colossal Blocks unfurled from her back as she rose slowly into the air. Chalices ford from lightning began to gather around her, filled with flickering arcs and thunder-infused ice cubes, swirling with a low hum of static as they orbited her.

And she wasn’t the only one.

Every player began to go all-in.

Half the players in the Month The Park went berserk.

Sweet Polo: ...This is exactly what I was warning about! You can’t just scam the entire server!

The Fat Ducks that had been happily grifting players minutes ago were now scrambling in every direction, waddling wildly with their duck butts swaying chaotically.

Desperate to grab BS-Rita’s buffs and attributes, every last duck smacked her on their way past, counting it as initiating combat to sync up their stats with hers.

Sweet Polo sprinted after her, shouting, "Wait for ! I need to leech your buffs!"

Rita was stressed. Her stats were solid, sure—but in her Fat Duck form, without her signature flaming wings, she couldn’t fly.

She couldn’t risk exposing herself by pulling out Wrathful Moon or Cat’s Ideal.

So she was stuck flapping along the ground with webbed feet, which seriously slowed her down.

She wanted to blink away, but her 10,000-gold movent skill, Phantom Shift, had been—yet again—disabled.

To make it worse, the players behind her were laying down all kinds of slow debuffs across the field.

Though she was among the first to run, Rita soon found herself catching up with the last few Fat Ducks who couldn’t fly either.

One of them was the very sa Fat Duck who had sold her the gacha machine—Fat Duck No. 1.

Rita sighed. "Sorry about this."

Ti for Plan B—sell out her teammate.

Sweet Polo blinked. "Huh? Sorry about what?"

Rita slowed her pace and sidled up alongside Fat Duck No. 1. She raised a wing. "Here, co grab my buff."

Sweet Polo was touched. "Thank you! You’re so nice!"

Foolishness was such a jerk. Too much!

She opened the demon group chat.

Sweet Polo: Foolishness, you are absolutely heartless. BS-Rita is such a good player!

Just after sending the ssage, Sweet Polo saw BS-Rita suddenly lift a wing and point at her.

Then she shouted loudly in Scorpion Tongue, "Hey! Where’d this event box co from? Where’s your gacha machine?! What—was that big gacha stolen by you? I knew a Divine Ga event would never be rigged!"

Sweet Polo: ...

Nearby Fat Ducks: ...

There was only a second of hesitation. Then they all turned on her without a shred of guilt.

"That’s right!"

"Makes sense now!"

"Yeah, definitely you!"

"So ssed up!"

"I swear I don’t even know this event box!"

"She’s a player! Of course—it all adds up now!"

They made sure to yell it in languages the chasing players could understand.

Sweet Polo nearly exploded on the spot.

Aaaaaaaargh—

Within seconds, her duck butt took several direct hits. Clutching her rear, she sprinted while venting furiously in the demon group chat.

Sweet Polo: Foolishness, from this mont forward, your word is my law. I kneel before you, my king!

Foolishness: Thanks. You’re so nice.

Sweet Polo held her duck head. Her face stung like soone had slapped her across it.

At least 30% of the firepower had shifted to Fat Duck No. 1.

Rita slapped her feet against the pavent, racing to reach an area where movent skills weren’t disabled. Once there, she could teleport to safety and activate her disguise skill.

But a few players still chased after her. She was slow, couldn’t fly, and had all the wrong gear out. What was she if not an easy target?

As she rounded a corner, her eyes caught a flicker—wisps of light wings she recognized instantly, drifting behind a vending machine.

Under bombardnt from skills, she looped around the block and ducked into a tight alley.

There, pressed up behind the vending machine, was a Block-patterned owl—Maple Mu.

She pulled out a pocket watch to confirm. Yep. Zoey.

Rita turned around dramatically, faced the pursuers, raised a wing, and shouted in multiple languages, "Look! There she is! That’s BS-Rita right there!!!"

Maple Mu: ...What the hell is wrong with you?!

Zoey’s brain short-circuited. Who even was this duck?

With the trap set, Rita bolted again.

After a few dozen ters, she glanced back—every last one of her pursuers had changed course, charging straight for "BS-Rita."

Rita’s feelings were... complicated.

It was like seeing a reflection of her own dood future.

...

Thanks to throwing her teammates under the bus and deflecting bla like a pro, Rita escaped safely.

Now disguised as another player and hiding in a maze corner, she tallied up her cut from the gacha sche.

She had helped the event boxes sell 9,552 capsules. Two extra were gifted directly to her.

The total reward was 573 duck feathers.

Combined with the 19 she already had, she could now buy 59 event loot boxes from the exchange.

All that with barely breaking a sweat.

Selling out players made way more money than grinding through battles as an unregistered fighter.

The The Park’s internal fighting was getting more intense by the hour.

Players who’d profited big were trying to hold onto what they had. Those who’d lost rare items or key stats were scrambling for revenge.

As usual, Rita found a quiet corner with few players and got to work sorting her inventory.

She converted all the duck feathers into loot boxes and stored them in her capsule machine.

While waiting for items to sell, she browsed for bargains—using Midnight Exile and Family Bucket to snag deals nearly every ti.

B8017913, who had rejoined her, was hiding behind a vending machine, quietly assembling parts for a chanical-race combat form.

The Three-Color Paint Bucket had been set to white, silver-gray, and transparent.

Each ti B8017913 finished a piece, it would paint it carefully, then hand it to Rita to stash away in the capsule machine.

It wasn’t ti to assemble the full form just yet.

Rita’s sniping success rate was absurdly high because the stronger players in the The Park now tended to be huge—easy targets.

Only those with disguise or shapeshifting skills had a real chance of evading her.

At 10:30 PM, Rita pinged Nivalis.

She asked her to prep key items and list them on the market, pricing them as "ten empty capsules crafted by BS-Rita herself."

Then she added, "Respawn in March The Park thirty minutes from now."

Rita: Let know before you die. We’ll be at the gate to pick you up.
