The Magma Dragon Magnalos talked way too much!
After Lin Ke ca out of the toilet, he was ruthlessly bombarded for several hours until nightfall, when he managed to escape under the pretext of ditation.
"Can’t you put back... I’m fed up with the feeling of being asleep," Magnalos pleaded, his voice tinged with desperation.
Lin Ke pondered for a mont before nodding in agreent: "You cannot fly beyond the confines of the castle, or toy with others."
This little female dragon would later be one of his sources of knowledge, ancient and well-inford (gossipy), and there was no real need to treat her like a slave.
"Mm! Mm! Mm!!" Initially planning to fly around the room, Magnalos swiftly flew through the door and headed down the corridor.
Lin Ke chuckled and lay down on his bed.
Holding the fragnt of the divine artifact, a piece of rotten wood, he entered a state of ditation.
Within the Soul Space, three small seedlings were gently swaying; the "Knowledge" on the left and the "Leadership" on the right had both grown taller, while the "Luck" in the middle remained in the germinating phase.
"Luck... inventor, or scientist..."
Lin Ke contemplated the profession he had arranged for the Luck bloodline, and fell into a bit of thought.
His talent was above the Andrew level, so now he was lacking feedback, but what he really lacked was the ability to capture and digest magic power.
Currently, he only needed to spend two hours a day to feed two bloodlines, each requiring several hours of digestion to truly beco the energy for their profession.
However, due to his exceptional talent, he could actually capture more elents to nourish the bloodlines.
This ant he could take on additional professions.
No, to be precise, he could now take on four or five more professions, ensuring that it wouldn’t hinder his level advancent and developnt.
Andrew’s level of talent is not just talk.
What others might not achieve in several years, decades, or even a lifeti, Lin Ke managed to reach in just a few months.
"Take one step at a ti; a scientist is actually quite similar to a scholar or a Truth Researcher, while inventor might be an auxiliary or a research-oriented profession..."
Lin Ke captured scattered elents and nourished them onto the bloodlines while pondering these questions.
The skills of a scholar could be obtained from Ove, and those of a knight from Magnalos.
However, for the inventor or scientist profession that he wanted to keep hidden, he would need to create, combine, and construct the skills himself.
"Oh? Such a large fire elent..." Lin Ke sensed a rather sizable fire elent, captured it, and then nourished the "Leadership" bloodline with it, filling it halfway.
The wood elent also nourished the "Knowledge" bloodline to fullness.
Not to ntion two hours of ditation, Lin Ke finished today’s work in rely twenty seconds.
The fire elent was likely from the Amber Dragon Crystal; although not as effective as the divine artifact fragnt, it was still quite good.
After ditation, Lin Ke fell into a dream.
anwhile, the Magma Dragon Magnalos sneakily made her way to Fulon’s bedroom...
...
For several consecutive days, the temperature plumted, and the farm’s crops were ready to be harvested.
Unlike the rural production thods from Lin Ke’s past life.
In ancient eastern ways, it revolved around farming land, fruit trees, and silkworm cultivation, supplented by silkworm rearing and silk spinning, livestock rearing, and won’s handicrafts.
The fields were planted with crops ant for human consumption, occasionally with one or two fruit trees, and possibly a chicken coop.
Naseng’s production mainly revolved around individual farms.
A farm might have half of its fields for cultivating rye, oats, and wheat, while the other half might grow grass to feed the livestock.
In Azanen, the main crops provided to livestock were a type of dry chewed bean that prevented Gula cows from going into heat, rich milk-producing grass called ’Little Sword Grass’, and regular peas.
The grains included rye, wheat, and oats.
The maturity of these crops brought joy and elation to the farrs across the fields.
"Azanen is wonderful! I heard from my husband that the buckwheat in the field had a bountiful harvest!"
As they walked from the paper mill to the cafeteria, several older ladies chatted happily; they had once been pale and thin but were now all well-fed and robust.
"Indeed! The milk yield from my Gula cows is abundant, all because of the plentiful Little Sword Grass!"
Another older lady excitedly exclaid, "Lord Lin Ke says that the milk is good for our health, and I must let my little Will drink more."
"Yes, yes, Lord Lin Ke is too good, too kind, too wise!"
"Who wouldn’t say so? If you ask , Lord Lin Ke will beco a deity soday, a deity!"
"No, we need him to beco a legend; they say legends are even more formidable!"
"Yes, yes! No, no, we need him to beco His Majesty Insomnia, who is mightier than legends!"
"Sure, sure!"
These won chatted away while walking toward the cafeteria, but suddenly chaos erupted behind them.
"Run, run!"
"Such terrifying monsters! Run!"
"Magical Beast! Magical Beast!"
The shouts reached them from afar, startling the crowd into panic.
Magical Beast!
Magical beasts attacked!
Magical Beast!
The people who realized this were all shocked, scattering in a panic.
In the distance, a giant bear with sharp claws and teeth charged rapidly.
The giant bear, with fur as pale as snow, stood as tall as two stories, and three sinister bone spikes protruded from its head, extrely sharp.
With just a light slap of its paw, a person scread and turned into a pile of flesh, and its two fangs extended to the nose.
"Roar!!"
The pale giant bear swung its paws, conjuring a dozen bone spikes in mid-air, which then shot out, piercing walls with ease; so people were brushed by it and were reduced to a mist of blood.
The villagers fled in panic, but this panic didn’t last long before it cald down.
"Boom!!"
A bolt of lightning descended from the sky, striking the pale giant bear and leaving it bloodied and mangled.
Beside the giant bear appeared Ove’s figure.
"A level 14 Bone Spike Bear?!"
Ove looked at the fallen giant bear, his expression grave and filled with uncertainty.
How could a level 14 magical beast be let loose by the Eldest Prince and his army?
Ove thought for a mont and then transford into lightning again, speeding towards the Great Wall Fortress.
But the more he sped, the more alard he beca.
Not just a single Bone Spike Bear, but many magical beasts were scattered in the fields, rampaging through the land and crops, and so were even feasting on villagers’ corpses.
Ove slayed many magical beasts with lightning along the way until he finally halted near the fortress.
That is... an army!
The coalition forces of the fortress were retreating!
Amidst the distant sky, the Star Glory ranks were engaged in fierce combat.
"Master Ove!"
At that mont, soone in armor rushed over, calling out to Ove.
"Count Giant Sword." Ove spoke plainly, without further comnt.
"Master Ove, we’ve lost! We’ve lost!"
Count Giant Sword’s face was gray, filled with bitterness.
