Lin Ke returned to Great Wilderness City.
Or rather, to the Great Wilderness Plane.
The conversation with Andrew was indeed enlightening for Lin Ke.
He had a clearer understanding of his advancent in the profession of [Inventor].
He already had so ideas, but the exchange with Andrew, with wisdom accumulated over endless years, brought Lin Ke significant insights.
However, upon returning to Great Wilderness City, Lin Ke was still feeling quite overwheld.
There was so much to do!
Truly, so much to do!
The foremost issue was transportation.
Originally, Great Wilderness City had Azanen Avenue connecting Azaenn Castle to the city, and various other modes of transportation, both aerial and terrestrial, that could reach the Great Wilderness.
But now?
Only a few spatial overlap points remain.
There are both advantages and disadvantages!
The advantage is that people entering Great Wilderness City can be screened through customs to determine if they can enter.
The disadvantage is that the flow of people has dramatically decreased!
The trading center has just been established, and this is the ti to expand trading!
Besides that, there are many other issues.
For big shopping malls, at least the issue of custor flow can be resolved by relocating them.
Another key issue is live streaming.
Live streaming requires magic energy electromagnetic waves!
The electromagnetic waves in Great Wilderness City are obviously unable to reach Naseng.
The live streaming system is obsolete.
The ongoing developnt of the computer and internet systems also has to be discarded.
Of course, an advantage for the internet is that it’s easier to lay fiber optics.
Originally, Lin Ke planned to start popularizing computers in Great Wilderness City.
The purpose of a computer isn’t just for playing gas and watching movies.
It’s more like a combination of a radio and television, with functions to search and access knowledge, docunts, and books.
Knowledge is power!
Just look at what Andrew knows.
Transportation, pedestrian and traffic flow, electromagnetic wave issues, etc.
There’s so much to be done!
Fortunately, concerning food and such, there are Mark trees, enough to eat, and a lake with a river for water sources.
Of course, all these can be achieved through transportation.
Regardless, it’s ti to prepare!
...
Upon returning to Great Wilderness City, Lin Ke’s first priority was to inspect the water source.
Water is the source of life.
At least for carbon-based life forms like them.
Lin Ke rode Little Lucky, heading north through the Great Wilderness Plane.
This is a small river that originally flowed past Azaenn Castle and the village, converging to the south into the Ocean of Stars and Waves.
But now, Andrew had casually manipulated it, creating a simple circulation at its lowest point.
However, this small river alone can’t handle the wastewater treatnt of Great Wilderness City.
"Go down, Lucky." Lin Ke gently patted Lucky’s neck.
He could use clever techniques to move forward supported by an air pressure shield, looking like Magneto from X-n.
But that would be a bit slow.
He could also form "stepping stones" in the air, jumping and even running midair.
This could also train his mobility and agility.
But now wasn’t the ti for training.
"Whoosh——"
Little Lucky descended to the end of the small river, radiating its own aura, frightening away other magical beasts.
Lin Ke landed and went to examine the source of the river.
Here, the water flowed like a waterfall!
But it was an upward-flowing waterfall!
Andrew had added gravitational laws here, attracting the water that originally flowed north to pass through the bottom of the plane, then rge with so groundwater and re-enter the source.
It looked like a reversed waterfall.
The small river was about ten ters wide, but the water flow was already weak because it had flowed through many places, thinning it out.
"Microscopic Detection!"
Lin Ke uttered softly.
Skill—Microscopic Detection!
Every year, many skills are developed in the Great Wilderness research institute.
This Microscopic Detection is the latest skill developed based on biological research.
Energy within Lin Ke gently surged, transforming into a beam that shot out from his eyes.
"Buzz..."
The beam entered the water, instantly painting a picture in Lin Ke’s mind.
A snapshot of the microscopic world!
A ten-square-ter image of the microscopic world unfolded.
"Bacteria and microorganisms are similar to those from the past life, but there are so differences; perhaps bacterial wars might occur in the future? Hmm, for now, it’s tolerable, though the pollution is sowhat severe..."
Lin Ke observed the state of the river.
Is there pollution?
Yes!
Pollution isn’t just chemical; dostic water pollution is also pollution, even more so.
We won’t even talk about those cities.
Naseng boasts dozens of tis the "vastness," yet under such conditions, only those territories without particularly noticeable pollution exist because of the governors.
In reality, in so huge cities, pollution is still terrifying.
Like Great Wilderness City, it’s a tropolis of millions.
Everyone’s daily waste is discharged into the sea through sewers.
Now without the sea, it can only go into the river.
Fortunately, though Lin Ke sees it as a small river, for now, it can handle this amount of biological sewage.
As for the issue of garbage treatnt plants, Lin Ke must resolve it too.
"It’s a headache, and then there’s the oxygen issue..." Lin Ke rubbed his temples, retracting the skill for observing the microscopic world.
Oxygen is also a big problem.
Luckily, the Lava Swamp is a huge wetland, with countless plants and moss growing on it.
They are significant contributors to oxygen production!
Otherwise, Great Wilderness City would have succumbed to suffocation issues long ago.
Only a few strong professionals can survive without oxygen, and the stronger they are, the longer they live.
But it also ans Great Wilderness City cannot expand outwards, as with the growing city population, the oxygen may beco insufficient.
Expanding outward under such circumstances will surely impact the ecological environnt.
"Water source, pollution, oxygen..."
Lin Ke sat back on Little Lucky, narrowing his eyes: "Forest Hut...Forest Hut seems to have sothing called...Tree of Nature?"
Then, Lin Ke retrieved his divine artifact fragnt, "the rotten wood piece."
Andrew had told him that this rotten wood piece was a broken divine artifact casually destroyed by Andrew when he defeated the King of Gods.
It was originally a weapon made from the Life Tree.
The Life Tree, Tree of Nature, and the like were products cultivated by the the Elf Race, one of the five great holy lives in the Holy Life Alliance.
Back then, the Soul Fairy King, due to severe injuries, transford into the Jade Demoness, Earth Demoness, and Mad Elf.
The first two beca races, the Banshee Race and Demoness Race, while the Mad Elf beca a legend.
One of the bloodlines of the Jade Demoness is precisely the Forest Hut that branched off from the Holy Life Alliance!
"The past grudges can be settled together."
Lin Ke, seated on Little Lucky, was lost in deep thought.
The Forest Hut had targeted him multiple tis before, and conveniently, the Tree of Nature is said to have the effect of purifying and cleansing impurities.
