Now reading: Chapter 288: Fire Domain from This Summoner Is Too Powerful, a Game novel by Fried Egg With Orange.

In half a day, Li Pu and his group of four explored about half of the Water Domain’s area.

On the way, they encountered three other teams, none of which belonged to Xidu University.

The second round had just begun, so everyone was restrained, briefly passing by without staying.

It was also during this half-day that their team finally completed the collection of four Water Elent Crystals.

Through relentless exploration, everyone now had a relatively clear understanding of this Small Five Elent Realm, or rather, the Water Domain.

From the map, the circular Small Five Elent Realm was divided into roughly equal pie-shaped sections by the five regions of Gold, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth.

And within the Water Domain, according to the strength and distribution density of magical beasts, it could roughly be divided into ten levels.

Level 1 was the closest to the center, while Level 10 was the furthest edge.

The smaller the ordinal number, the smaller the area.

The range they could operate in was approximately from Level 10 to Level 4.

When they reached the Level 3 area, they already felt sowhat overwheld.

But during the process, everyone verified a pattern: the closer to the center, the easier it was to encounter Elental Beasts and collect crystal fragnts.

The previous two nests of Mud Crabs were located around Level 6.

Later, when they settled at Level 4 to hunt, the efficiency of collecting crystal fragnts notably increased.

After so discussion, the group decided to split up.

Li Pu ventured alone to the neighboring Fire Zone, while the remaining three headed toward the Wood Zone.

Because on a solo mission, Li Pu felt he could potentially enter Level 1, or at least Level 2.

Now, there was always concern for the safety of Wu Guinan and the other two summoners, so their actions were sowhat restrained.

As for Wu Guinan and the others, they decided to lower their goals and head towards the Level 7 area for their mission.

The later regions had larger areas, making it less likely to encounter competing teams.

Admittedly, splitting up was inherently riskier, especially for Wu Guinan and the two others.

But this was a consensus reached by everyone.

Just considering the mode of the second round, their team didn’t have much of an advantage.

Especially with Jiang Guiju’s absence, their team combat ability had significantly dropped.

Without Stabby Mouse and only relying on Bubu, their efficiency in clearing beasts was heavily impacted.

Therefore, splitting up was to improve efficiency and also to share the risks.

If one side got ejected from the instance, the other side could continue.

As for remote communication, it wasn’t a concern.

The little light group accompanying them had internal voice communication capabilities.

Now that night had fallen, setting out rashly when not fully adapted on the first night could actually increase danger.

Thus, Wu Guinan and the three decided to camp at a relatively safe spot and plan to set off at dawn.

As for Li Pu, relying on his Night Vision, he bid farewell to the three and set off first.

With his current physique, even going five days without sleep wouldn’t be a problem, so resting at night would only hinder efficiency.

So, relying on Bubu’s endless refills of Quick Steps, the duo quickly crossed the Water Domain and reached the Fire Domain.

Between the two domains, a light curtain blocked the view.

It was only when Li Pu truly stepped in that he discovered it was different from his imagination.

The flowing magma everywhere provided a lighting effect like night lamps.

In other words, in the Fire Domain, there was no need to worry about nightfall.

He let the grass figure approach the magma to test it, finding it surprisingly unhard by the magma.

Because of the Water Film, the magma almost had no effect on it.

This indicated that the intensity of this magma, by comparison, was below B level.

But for Bubu, just being near it caused its fur to emit a burnt sll.

Coupled with the high heat around, it was extrely uncomfortable.

So for once, it requested to hide in the storage space to cool off.

After storing Bubu, Li Pu continued with the grass figure.

The current location was in the Level 4 Fire Zone, and he wanted to try entering Level 2 to start collecting crystals.

In the anti, he took the process as a way to get familiar with the environnt.

But as he walked, he realized that getting familiar with the environnt seed not to an much.

Having walked for over an hour since entering, he saw no living creatures despite the flowing magma.

Not a blade of grass grew—this was that kind of place.

The survival environnt was even harsher than the East Wilderness Ridge, where the majority of normal species would struggle to survive.

"Can’t see a thing, where do I collect crystals?"

Stopping in his tracks, Li Pu felt a bit troubled.

Let alone a Fire Elental Beast, he hadn’t seen a single magical beast so far.

Then, about 50 ters in front of them, was a bubbling Magma Lake.

Beside the lake was a stark upright large rock, perfect for climbing to get a good view.

"You wait here while I climb up to take a look."

So, leaving the grass figure by the lake, he decided to climb up and check things out.

The psychic link of the little bluebird wasn’t as clear as seeing with one’s own eyes, and he needed to see for himself to make things clear.

[Grass!]

The grass figure agreed with a call and imdiately sat by the Magma Lake to soak its feet.

It even took a bottle of cola from its grass belly to drink.

In the high-temperature environnt, the cola had been ward, giving it a unique flavor.

For soone like Li Pu, with outdoor survival experience, climbing trees or rocks was a piece of cake.

He climbed to the top of the rock using his hands and feet like a monkey.

This upright large rock was nearly ten ters high, giving him a full view of the surrounding terrain.

He still didn’t find any creatures but did confirm his current position.

Standing atop the rock, he opened the storage space.

[Eat?]

Bubu poked its head out, thinking the summoner was looking for it.

"Give the map."

Li Pu pushed its head back inside.

[Eat eat!]

Soon, Bubu handed the map out with its little hands.

"According to the map... we should be in the Level 3 area now."

He slowly observed the map and noticed a fresh tooth mark on one corner, frowning: "If you keep biting things randomly, next ti I’ll spank your kangaroo butt."

[Munch munch~]

A muffled response ca from the open storage space.

"Sigh..."

Li Pu, both exasperated and helpless, tossed the map back inside and closed it.

[Grass!!!]

Plop!

Just after he completed this action, a cry from the grass figure reached him from below.

Looking down, he saw only two empty cola bottles by the Magma Lake.

The grass figure had disappeared without a trace.

"What’s going on..."

Li Pu’s expression imdiately changed, becoming alert.

It seed there was sothing in this lake...
