But the Dragon Thought Body enjoys a 50% damage reduction and can also defend.
When in defense, it’s 50% x 50% = 25%, enjoying a total of 75% damage reduction.
Moreover, activating Dragon Thought Body doesn’t consu energy; only maintaining it does.
According to the Wind Chaser class’s rule of recovering 1 energy per turn, it’s akin to the Dragon Thought Body being able to maintain the Dragon Thought Body throughout the whole ga, which is also very crucial.
Unstoppable in offense, rock-solid in defense, it excels in both attack and defense, and it’s also cost-effective.
The word "excellent" might not suffice; it should be called perfect.

Yet that’s not all; the strongest skill of the Dragon Thought Body is a trendously formidable skill combining control and percent-damage.
Let’s talk about its control effect. In this aspect, it is very similar to Bai Tuan Tuan’s way of consuming.
The Restrain control can be broken through offensive actions, be it internal or external attacks.
During Restrain, the targeted card won’t take any external damage; all attacks are borne by the restraining body.
But if you don’t attack to break the restrain, its control duration is relatively long.
Previously, Li Pu encountered Restrain with only 10~20 health points; if not broken, it would control the target card for 2~3 turns.
Now, the Dragon Thought Body’s Restrain is slightly different from the ordinary; it uses itself as the restraining vehicle, so the restraining body has a particularly large amount of health, reaching a full 100 points.
Also, from a skill perspective, Li Pu has actually tested it on a simulated ga table; if not broken/terminated, it will continuously Restrain until the target exits, after which it returns to its original position.
Aside from Restrain, the skill is remarkable for providing fixed percent damage each turn.
Whether facing a 200-health ace or a regular card with extra health, all suffer proportional deductions.
35% reduction per turn, without healing, in 3 turns, it’s enough to remove any card from play.
In an ideal scenario with a fully charged Dragon Thought Body at 5 energy, maintaining Dragon Thought Body and Desire for Gluttony simultaneously can only last (4/5→2/5→3/5)→(1/5→2/5)→0/5, for a total of 3 turns, just enough to take down a card.
The only downside is during Restrain, it exposes itself to all enemy cards, making it susceptible to their focused fire and unable to defend.
That’s why Li Pu always keeps this card hidden until the last mont, revealing it when the opponent has the fewest cards.
Why didn’t he surrender, why is he still full of confidence?
Because he believes that in this situation, just one Dragon Thought Body is enough to defeat the opponent’s three regular cards.
