Chapter 721: Chapter 34 Is His Na Li Feiyu? _4

The towering Demonic Cultivator was none other than Qing Ge, the Demon General who lost both arms to the Marquis of An Hai.

Shadows filled Qing Ge’s eyes—the Demon Marshal seed concerned, but the sarcasm in his words was unmistakable.

Yet, he could do nothing about the Demon Marshal.

Since the Demon Marshal was under the big brother Chi Pu, naturally, he wouldn’t treat him well, and he couldn’t do anything to his brother’s subordinate.

“I ca to Black Demon City this ti to use your Blood Pool for healing,” Qing Ge snorted coldly, resentfully speaking.

The Blood Pool, constructed by the Demon Race as a sanctuary for evolving Bloodlines and for cultivation, contained extrely pure Strength that could also be used for healing.

His arms were amputated by the Marquis of An Hai using a special thod, making them exceedingly difficult to heal.

If he didn’t use the Blood Pool to nd them and instead let the limbs regenerate on their own, it would drain his own essence—sothing he was reluctant to lose.

Thus, he had co to Black Demon City, planning to use its Blood Pool to heal.

“Lord Qing Ge’s request, how could I refuse? Feel free to use the Blood Pool,” the Demon Marshal said with a chuckle.

Qing Ge snorted coldly again, saying no more.

Just then, a streak of black light flew into the hall from outside, landing in the hands of the Demon Marshal.

Qing Ge, the Demon General, glanced at it and thought little of it.

This black light was rely a unique thod of communication used by the Demon Race.

The Demon Marshal, being the City Lord of Black Demon City, receiving news from his subordinates was an ordinary affair, nothing worth making a big fuss over.

The Demon Marshal quietly gathered the black light, receiving the ssage within.

After reading it, the Demon Marshal’s expression turned solemn.

Seeing this, Qing Ge, the Demon General, who had initially thought little of it, suddenly flashed a sharp look.

His dissatisfaction and concern about his brother prompted him to subtly probe, “What ssage is so important that it changes your color, Lord? Mayhap you could share it with ?”

The Demon Marshal quickly composed himself and replied, “It’s just a trivial matter under a subordinate, not worth disturbing your ears, Lord.”

“Funny enough, I have a soft spot for trivial matters and can’t handle big ones. I much prefer hearing the minor details,” Qing Ge, seeing this, grew even more convinced there was sothing afoot and pressed on.

The Demon Marshal’s expression changed, his eyes flickered, as if struck by a thought. Finally, he smiled, “Since Your Lordship wishes to hear, then I shall share it.”

After a mont’s pause, the Demon Marshal slowly said, “It’s rely that so cultivator has approached the Netherworld ruled by Lord Chi Pu, claiming to have important news for His Lordship.”

The Demon Marshal was very slippery, vague in his wording. It seed like he had said everything, yet he had said nothing.

Unexpectedly to him, upon hearing this, Qing Ge fiercely stood up, staring intently at him, breathing quickening, “The important ssage you ntioned, it wouldn’t happen to involve a Sword Cultivator nad Lu Qingshan, would it?”

“How did Your Lordship know?” the Demon Marshal was dumbfounded, instinctively responding.

This was a ssage just delivered from an Underworld Cultivator. Even Lord Chi Pu had not yet received it. How could Qing Ge have known?

Following this, his heart leaped as a terrifying thought flashed through his mind—Qing Ge’s behavior until now had always appeared foolish, idiotic in his eyes; why then would he suddenly exhibit such insight?

Could it be that Lord Qing Ge had all the while been concealing his true capabilities?

Could Lord Qing Ge really be so calculative, so scheming?

Had Lord Chi Pu and I underestimated him all these years?

The Demon Marshal, his mind racing with myriad thoughts, then saw the armless Demon General Qing Ge, now bearing a ferocious expression, venomously uttered, “The Underworld Cultivator who delivered the ssage, is his na… Li! Fei! Yu!”

Lu Qingshan. Each syllable was enunciated deliberately, his teeth grinding as he forced the words through clenched teeth.
