Chapter 766: Chapter 49: Discerning Talent (Subscribe)_3

However, the Pu Qu Demon Marshal had just been so engrossed in the massive amount of information provided by Qing Ge that he montarily neglected his surroundings.

Furthermore, since Qing Ge had already been staying in Feather Demon City for three days without incident, he could never have imagined that an assassination plot lay hidden within.

The last point is also the most important.

Had the City Lord of Feather Demon City been inviting him to the discussion hall, he would certainly have been extrely cautious.

But it seed that Qing Ge Lord had entrusted the City Lord with so matters, and after receiving news on their side, they called Qing Ge over, preparing to report back to him.

And it just so happened that he arrived in Feather Demon City at this ti and happened upon this affair.

It was rely a coincidence.

Who would have thought that there was a hidden murderous intent?

So, what exactly was happening?

The City Lord of Feather Demon City, however, was not about to give the Pu Qu Demon Marshal much ti to react.

All the black water surged tumultuously, rushing towards Pu Qu.

In the black waters, suddenly blue thunder proliferated, lightning turning into serpents that shot out.

Pu Qu’s face turned pale, “Gui Thunder!”

Through the black waters, he saw another figure.

It was Yu Kui, the Deputy City Lord.

“This is bad!” Pu Qu’s complexion changed drastically; he couldn’t care less about looking into the root of the issue and burst forth with all his might with a loud bang.

Huge waves of Blood Qi rolled out from his body, seemingly every bit as imposing as the black waters.

Hiss hiss hiss.

The Blood Qi collided with the black water, battling against the thunderous electric snakes, hissing as they were continuously annihilated.

But it was clear that in the clash of the three, the black water and the thunderous electric snakes were at an advantage.

A sinking feeling ca over Pu Qu’s heart.

He could feel the presence of invisible shackles within the space, causing the might of his Divine Demon Body to drop by thirty percent out of thin air.

With such a debilitation, how could he possibly be a match for the two individuals opposite him?

After all, both Yu Sha and Yu Kui were beings of the sa tier as him.

“No good, I must escape this Illusory Realm!” Pu Qu made a swift decision, as at that mont terrifying energy fluctuations accumulated in the vertical eye on his forehead.

He was preparing to burst through the barrier.

“Hmph, trying to break through the barrier?” A cold snort sounded, followed by two figures flashing and closing in on Pu Qu.

One figure was surrounded by swirling black water, while the other was enveloped by thunder.

It was indeed Yu Sha and Yu Kui, the two City Lords.

A cruel light appeared in Yu Sha’s eyes, and with a slight thought, the oppressive force in this world surged even higher.

Whoosh whoosh whoosh!

The thunder serpents that were hovering around Yu Kui’s form suddenly left his body, splitting into nine large Thunder Dragons that spanned dozens of miles in length, roaring as they charged at Pu Qu.

Boom!

At that mont, the attack that Pu Qu had been charging for a long ti also surged out.

A thick beam of black light burst forth from his shimring Blood God Pupils.

The nine Thunder Dragons positioned themselves in front of the black light.

Thunder and lightning rolled and scattered throughout the sky.

Black Blood Qi flas appeared on the bodies of the Thunder Dragons, continuously dissolving the dragons’ forms.

In the face of this spectacle, Yu Kui, who had released the Thunder Dragons, seed indifferent.

“Go,” the City Lord beside him uttered at the right mont.

The surging black water then wrapped around the Thunder Dragons, effortlessly extinguishing all the Blood Qi flas.

After quenching the Blood Qi flas, the black water continued to nourish the nine Thunder Dragons.

Under the nurturing of the black water, the Thunder Dragons seed to have taken a fierce tonic, expanding in size continuously.

“Today you, Pu Qu, are undoubtedly dood to die!” Yu Sha said coldly.

The two of them, as brothers, cultivated Divine Demon Bodies that complented each other and could cooperate with each other.

Having successfully lured Pu Qu into the Illusory Realm and greatly weakening his Combat Power, it had beco much simpler for them to join forces against him.

The nine Thunder Dragons, now nurtured by the black water, had stretched out to dozens of miles at this point.

And in the vast black water, nine more black water-ford Black Dragons erged.

A total of eighteen Demon Dragons, with fangs bared and claws flashing, pounced on Pu Qu, their enormous bodies completely covering him.

Crackle crackle crackle!

Pu Qu, emitting Blood Qi all over his body, was like a candle flickering in a flood, in grave danger.

The towering Blood Qi was continuously nullified by the onslaught of the Demon Dragons, leaving no trace behind.

……

An hour later.

The black water Barrier suddenly shattered, revealing the scene inside.

Yu Sha and Yu Kui appeared.

Both of them were pale, with their clothes in disarray, and there were signs of scorched marks on the wings on their backs.

They looked quite a ss.

But the situation of Pu Qu was many tis more wretched.

He lay on the ground, with a dozen or so Demon Dragons that had shrunk hundreds of tis, like chains, like pythons, binding him tightly.

These Demon Dragons were so tight that Pu Qu couldn’t move at all, his face filled with bulging veins looking like wriggling earthworms, hideously ugly.

He writhed like a maggot on the ground, bitterly shouting, “How dare you lay hands on us? What have you done to Qing Ge Lord?

Think carefully, if you dare to touch a single hair of his, the Demon Lord will definitely not spare you!”

Slap slap slap!

Crisp clapping sounds rose.

“Good servant, good servant. Even at the brink of death, you still care for your own master. If I didn’t know the truth, I would almost be moved by you,” a voice laced with mockery sounded.

Pu Qu Demon Marshal lifted his eyelids, seeing Yu Sha looking at him with a sneer.

“What do you an by this?” Pu Qu Demon Marshal faintly sniffed sothing wrong in the air.

Without directly answering Pu Qu Demon Marshal’s question, Yu Sha stepped aside slightly.

Behind him, a figure all too familiar to the Pu Qu Demon Marshal suddenly appeared in his line of sight.
