Historical figures in their fated death states were the easiest to be corrupted by the Abyssal Will and turned into depraved beings.
Ma Yuanyi was turned into a core pollution source after death; Zhang Bao too was transford into a core pollution source after death.
Since this map was nad “River-Sacrifice Pavilion,” it was highly likely that the map’s tiline was after the Battle of Yiling, and the ultimate boss—the core pollution source—was most likely the Hawk Consort, Sun Shangxiang.
