Riley’s POV
I pushed open the boardroom doors and stepped inside, my heart already pounding from Anna’s warning. The three n stood by the windows, their backs to , silhouettes sharp against the city skyline. Broad shoulders. Tall fras. That unmistakable aura of power that made the air feel thicker.
One turned first, then the second, the third. My stomach twisted hard.
Of course it was them. The n from the club last night. Cleaned up now in tailored suits that hugged their bodies like they were made for sin. No trace of the wild hunger from the a day ago, but their eyes... those eyes still burned with it.
Cane smiled slowly, that sa cruel curve of his lips.
"Good morning, Riley Grayson, CEO," he said, voice smooth as glass.
"What—what are you doing here?" I swallowed hard and asked, my voice coming out steadier than I felt.
Cane’s smile widened just a fraction. "Aren’t you going to offer us a seat? You see, we didn’t sit until the famous Riley entered."
I blinked, trying to process his words. The boardroom table stretched between us, empty chairs all around, but they stood like they owned the place. Which, according to Anna, they basically did.
"What are you doing here?" I repeated, firr this ti. "I don’t offer any services to people like you. I didn’t ask you to co here either."
I tried to sound brave, chin up, but my pulse raced. mories from last night flashed—hands on my skin, mouths everywhere, the way they’d taken apart until I begged.
This ti, it was Caden who spoke up, leaning casually against the window fra, his amber eyes locking onto mine like a predator spotting his favourite lunch.
"Apparently, Ethan was the one who invited us here," he said, dropping the bomb casually.
"What? Ethan did what?" I asked, refusing to believe them. My mind reeled. Ethan? Inviting these n?
Caden shrugged, that smirk pulling at his mouth. "Rember, your husband is our best friend. We are the investors he’s been speaking to you about. You would have t us that day you lost your kid, but well... you didn’t."
He smirked while saying those and it hit like a slap. The casual ntion of my son twisted sothing deep in my chest, but I wouldn’t let them see it break . Not here. Not in my own boardroom.
"I will not accept you people as investors, Ethan doesn’t run this company, I do so I control who can invest here or not, not him, if you have any business with him, sort it out with him personally not here," I said, voice tight. "So in essence I’m not interested. Please leave."
Gunnar moved at once , stepping away from the window. He walked toward deliberately, each step echoing on the polished floor. I stepped back instinctively. He kept coming until my back hit the wall by the door, trapping there.
"You wouldn’t like us to leave, would you?" he said, voice low and cold. "Rember, we made a deal last night. We’re here to discuss it. Or do you want your husband finding out that we had a good ti with his..." He paused, his eyes raking over my body slowly "With his pretty boring wife, huh?"
His hand lifted, fingers trailing up my arm, light at first, then curling around my neck possessively. He leaned in, inhaling deep against my skin as his breath grew hot on my throat.
My body betrayed instantly, heat pooling low, nipples tightening under my shirt. I hated it. Hated how one touch brought back the ache from last night.
I pushed him off hard before I lost it, my hands on his chest. "If you don’t leave, I’ll call security right now," I threatened, reaching for the intercom button on the wall.
"Go ahead, honey," Cane said from behind Gunnar, his voice dripping with amusent. He stepped closer, flanking now. "It would be nice to see them watch how good you take us three at once."
Fuck. The words sent a shiver straight down my spine, my core clenching despite myself. I clenched my fists, nails digging into my palms to fight the heat building between my legs. Last night’s images flooded back—them surrounding , filling , making co until I couldn’t think.
"What do you want?" I asked now, calr, forcing my voice even. I wouldn’t let them see panic.
Caden smirked, pulling out a folded paper from his suit pocket. He walked over, handing it to Gunnar, who turned back to , holding it out.
"This is another legally bound agreent," Gunnar said, his voice flat and cold. "And we want you to sign it."
I glanced and took the paper, unfolding it just enough to read the bold header written on it: "DIVORCE ETHAN WITHIN 90 DAYS."
"What?" I almost shouted as I looked at them.
"You don’t tell what to do in my life!" I yelled, crumpling the edge in my fist.
Just then, Gunnar grabbed by the waist, lifting to his waist like I weighed nothing. He moved and dropped onto the conference table, the wood cool against my ass.
My skirt hiked up to my thighs as he stepped between my legs, pinning there with his body.
"I’ll finger fuck you on this table until soone walks in if you don’t sign it," he said, his hand sliding up my inner thigh, his fingers brushing the edge of my panties.
"What do you say?’ he growled as he moved closer and bit my ear...
"I think soone is coming" Caden said and my mind flew in panic...
"It’s Ethan, I can sll him Riley, unless you want him seeing us like this, I honestly will not have a problem with that, it’ll make things faster" Gunnar added he closed his palms on my breasts, squeezing it together with my my shirt..and I bit my lips to stifle a moan from escaping my lips...and just then, the door kicked open..
