Riley’s POV

I didn’t move.

I didn’t blink either.

I just stood there looking at her, waiting for her to finally say it properly because I was done with half answers and pauses that didn’t explain anything.

"Carian," I said, my voice firm and steady, "whatever you did, just say it clearly."

I was impatient already.

She held my gaze, and I could tell she already knew there was no point hiding anything anymore.

"I bound you to soone else," she finally dropped.

I frowned imdiately. "What does that even an?"

Her jaw tightened slightly before she continued. "I made you a bloodhost to another person."

Everything in went still.

I stared at her, trying to process that properly, but it didn’t make sense at first because I already knew what I was to Gunnar, I already understood that connection, and now she was telling there was another one, there was another fucking person?!

I let her talk.
