"It’s easy to see the pattern here, all multiples of seven, so the remaining two households should be on the 42nd and 49th floors."

He seed to be about to turn around. His face had already turned halfway, and Wen Xishu could see his profile, with his mouth wide open as if it had split apart.
Wen Xishu stared at him, and he remained completely still.
The elevator continued to rise. But it felt like an eternity had passed, yet it still hadn’t reached the 49th floor.
The Miracle Mansion at midnight was indeed a strange place.
Wen Xishu had a premonition that if he didn’t handle this situation carefully... he might die in the elevator.
He decided to take a bold step and quickly turned to look at the elevator door.
In that instant, the elevator rose from the 14th to the 15th floor.

The staff mber occupied one corner, and the elevator’s buttons and display occupied another corner. If Wen Xishu chose either corner on the left, he would either be too close to the "staff mber" or be unable to see the floor display.
If he chose a corner on the right, he would be unable to see the elevator’s buttons and display, or he would be seen by the "staff mber."
