At the entrance of room 4-30, not only were Wen Xishu and Zheng Zai present, but so was Aspasia.

Aspasia, without the ability to appraise or use items, could only roam around the various rooms.

Wen Xishu, Zheng Zai, and Wang Ying had a total of nine items. Excluding these nine items, there were also a radio, shoes, a pipe, a rice cooker, and a glass that had not been appraised.

The remaining items totaled around ten, and it didn’t take Aspasia much ti to examine them.

She didn’t have any items, so naturally she couldn’t do much, but this didn’t stop Aspasia from scheming.

She had two plans in mind. First, to coast to victory. With the help of Wen Xishu, Zheng Zai, and Wang Ying, she hoped to pass this Deceit Tower challenge successfully.

Now that One-Eyed Eagle Wang Ying was already engaged, relying on her relationship with Wang Ying, she believed that he would take extra care of her.

Additionally, Wen Xishu and Zheng Zai had agreed to her condition: to be compensated once they returned to the Bunker.

The second plan was to find an absolutely powerful weapon. She had already noticed that the door to room 4-30 was locked.

It seed that a key or so kind of tool was necessary to unlock it. At this mont, Wen Xishu was holding the key.

In that instant, several thoughts flashed through Aspasia’s mind.

She even considered the idea of snatching it, but the dangerous aura emanating from Zheng Zai ultimately dissuaded her.

She thought instead about whether she could ask for the items in room 4-30 in a weakened tone, "borrowing" them from Wen Xishu and the others.

But just then, Wen Xishu spoke first:

"The things in this room are the most valuable treasures in this museum, Aspasia. If I were you, I would suggest you don’t say anything or have any ideas right now."

Wen Xishu’s gaze was cold.

It was completely different from the earlier smile and polite deanor. He was slightly taller than Aspasia, tilting his head up a bit, his gaze slightly downward, as if he was looking down on her.

In that instant, all the words Aspasia had organized in her mind vanished.

She felt an inexplicable fear from that gaze.

"You might as well go back and stay in any of the previous rooms for now. After the twelfth level, we might need to leave this hospital. At that ti, we will have to face quite a number of monsters."

"But I can assure you, the monsters aren’t the scariest. If you have any improper thoughts, you won’t even have the chance to see the monsters before you die."

Without Wang Ying, Wen Xishu didn’t need to disguise himself in front of Aspasia. If Wang Ying returned, Aspasia wouldn’t dare to tell Wang Ying about Wen Xishu’s current deanor at this point.

She didn’t dare to gamble on whether Wang Ying would choose to believe her or Wen Xishu at this point.

So at this mont, she truly felt a blade was pressed against her neck.

Shaking, Aspasia said:

"I... I understand."

A warm expression returned to Wen Xishu’s face:

"So now you can go hide in another room, what do you think?"

Wen Xishu’s rapid change in deanor only intensified Aspasia’s fear.

Without hesitation, she ran and hid in another room.

Zheng Zai silently noted Wen Xishu’s actions, thinking... if I were to act fierce, I’m uglier than Wen Xishu, plus with my sharp-toothed look, hmm, I’d probably be scarier. Maybe I could even make Aspasia cry. I win!

Wen Xishu glanced at Zheng Zai:

"Old Zheng, why are you laughing secretly?"

This reaction surprised Wen Xishu; he had been wondering if Old Zheng would be shocked by this side of him.

Not only was Old Zheng not shocked, but he was smiling:

"Oh, nothing. I just suddenly thought about clearing the level, and I felt happy."

Wen Xishu said nothing more and resolutely used the key to unlock the door.

The 4-30 room had no hospital bed; atop a display stand were two items.

A fire-red feather, emitting a certain glow, and a fire-red gem.

Zheng Zai quickly noticed sothing unusual about the items:

"Younger Brother Wen, I can only see the nas of these two items but no notes. Can you see anything on your side?"

Wen Xishu shook his head; this ti, even he couldn’t discern the items’ functions. The nas of the items were visible, but the remarks were completely absent. There wasn’t even any scrambled text to look at.

[Phoenix Heart].

[Phoenix Feather].

Both the gem and the feather emitted a crimson glow, as if they were in a burning state.

"Do these items not need any appraising?" Zheng Zai asked.

Wen Xishu didn’t answer Zheng Zai’s question. He looked at the Phoenix Feather, and when he touched it, the feather suddenly disappeared.

Zheng Zai’s reaction was significant:

"Wait, where did our big feather go? How did it just disappear?"

Wen Xishu’s lips curved into a smile: "It appears this feather is consumable."

Zheng Zai looked at Wen Xishu:

"What do you an? Did you figure out the feather’s function?"

Wen Xishu shook his head:

"No, but it seems to be a good item that will prove useful at a critical mont."

As he spoke, Wen Xishu began to touch the gem.

This ti, Zheng Zai clearly saw the change; the gem began to integrate with Wen Xishu’s glove, and in the blink of an eye, a fire-red object resembling a ring appeared on the finger of Wen Xishu’s glove.

Wen Xishu looked at his own finger, and soon, a full annotation appeared.
