"Hello, Xishu, or should I call you Wenxun?"
Wen Xishu listened to the lodious, magnetic voice. It was the kind of voice he usually associated with gentle male characters in gas or movies aid at a female audience.
And typically, the owners of such voices were not good-looking. But Wenren Mirror’s voice was an exception; it didn’t draw much attention because his appearance was so pleasing to the eye that it was unforgettable at first glance.
Wen Xishu suddenly felt that if he had to describe Wenren Mirror on paper, the only certain description was that he was a male.
As for his looks, Wen Xishu really didn’t know how to put this feeling into words.
But indeed, once you saw this person, you’d think all those stories of love at first sight were not an exaggeration.
Wenren Mirror rely raised his hand to invite Wen Xishu to sit down.
Wen Xishu felt as if the flowers in this forbidden place had suddenly blood.
Wow, this was soone so outstanding that any small gesture seed to trigger special effects, like a super Enchanting Demon...
Wen Xishu thought to himself that this must be what the books described as a person who seed to carry a holy light.
But in reality, everything was so plain and ordinary.
The chessboard ga had not been restarted. Wen Xishu didn’t intend to play, he just sat quietly.
Wenren Mirror said:
"I’m Wenren Mirror. Actually, we’ve t before."
Wen Xishu indeed had no mory of that. He smiled and said:
"Sorry, according to the old principal, I was an idiot in the past. The one you t before must have been that... uh, not-so-normal version of ."
Wenren Mirror chuckled lightly:
"The teacher is a very, very free-spirited person. Sotis his words might offend others, don’t mind it. In his eyes, I’m just a foolish student."
So-called free-spirited, on the premise that nothing in this world could suppress one’s true nature. In the entire Bunker, who could make Albert Napolitano hold back his nature?
Wen Xishu also wanted to be free-spirited, but in reality, he could only wear a mask.
"I heard so things from the teacher. I thought about it, I should not owe you any favors, and recently you brought back a level-six building."
"I guess you went to the Desire Tower."
Wen Xishu thought for a mont and said:
"No, I went to the Deceit Tower and t soone nad Tang Rui."
Although Wenren Mirror had vaguely guessed, he was still a bit surprised to hear Wen Xishu ntion this na directly.
His expression beca even more gentle:
"It seems you got an invitation."
This offhand remark surprised Wen Xishu.
But Wenren Mirror just glanced at Wen Xishu, causing the surprise in Wen Xishu’s heart to vanish, making him feel peaceful and calm.
Wen Xishu should have been astonished by this ability, but because of the peace and calm, he couldn’t feel amazed.
"Is this Wenren Mirror’s ability? Everyone says he’s extraordinary, but he also has this ability to alter inner emotions..."
"What a terrifying person. Speaking of which, this ability combined with my psychic barrage... would be a killer combo."
Wen Xishu thought to himself; he already felt a sense of crisis, but the crisis couldn’t take root under Wenren Mirror’s gaze. At most, it made him a bit restrained.
Of course, Wen Xishu’s other focus was on Wenren Mirror knowing about the invitation. Wenren Mirror had never been to the Deceit Tower, so how could he know about the invitation?
He thought of Wen Chaohua.
Wenren Mirror said:
"This is the headquarters area; my ability is still effective here. The teacher and I often play chess here."
"The teacher also tests here. It’s quite interesting; once I enter the Slaughter Tower, my Desire Tower abilities disappear."
"But the teacher always tests . He impersonates the monsters of the Slaughter Tower, trying to make quell his killing desire."
"It’s as if he has decided that one day, I will face the monsters of the Slaughter Tower."
Wen Xishu did not respond.
Wenren Mirror continued as if he had heard a reply:
"You don’t need to be nervous, nor feel a sense of crisis. Chaohua... your brother shared so of his exploration experiences of the Deceit Tower with in the past."
Wen Xishu thought to himself that indeed, Wen Chaohua, the top Deceit Tower explorer, couldn’t be unaware of the invitation’s existence.
"Xishu, how is Tang Rui now?" Wenren Mirror asked.
Wen Xishu answered cautiously:
"She is fine, she is no longer a parrot. To be precise, she is a vulture. She’s quite formidable now."
"All those who hurt her are dead. She is no longer incomplete."
Wenren Mirror slowly stood up. As the top figure of the Desire Tower, he slightly bowed to Wen Xishu:
"Thank you. Although I had already guessed, hearing it from you makes very happy. This was a regret I couldn’t resolve, but you did it. You are remarkable, Xishu."
This gesture did surprise Wen Xishu. This person in front of him could lower himself so much.
Although it wasn’t quite a ninety-degree bow, being the top of the Desire Tower and the renowned pride of the Wenren Family...
Wen Xishu could still feel the weight of this bow.
At the sa ti, Wen Xishu felt that Wenren Mirror’s gaze was sowhat unusual. It seed to carry a kind of... care.
"Don’t be so polite. I t soone in the Deceit Tower’s resting area who used to mix in the Desire Tower; her na was Park Mi-hye. Unfortunately, she died in the Deceit Tower. That place is too dangerous. I tried my best to save them but only managed to save one."
Wenren Mirror eased back into his seat and said softly:
