Gu Shengyin raised an eyebrow and didn’t waste any words: "Lead the way then."
The Buzz Cut guy saw her being so straightforward, without a hint of hesitation, and asked curiously, "Aren’t you a bit surprised?"
Gu Shengyin replied, "Your young lady specifically ca to today and said her brother wants to et ."
She looked at the Buzz Cut guy, her tone lazy: "Besides, if I say I don’t want to go, would you let go ho?"
The Buzz Cut guy didn’t hesitate at all, and shook his head bluntly: "No. The Eldest Son wants to see you, so you must go."
"Then that’s settled, why waste the effort on pointless talk?" Gu Shengyin said indifferently, "Let’s go. I’m quite curious about what this Eldest Son you’re talking about is like."
The Buzz Cut guy didn’t say anything more, just opened the car door for Gu Shengyin, and approximately a few minutes later, the car stopped at a tea house.
Gu Shengyin looked up at the antique sign at the tea house entrance, secretly pondering the tastes of this Yu Family Eldest Son, but didn’t show anything on her face, and followed the Buzz Cut guy inside.
This tea house wasn’t limited to one floor. As soon as Gu Shengyin entered, she could see the first-floor lobby containing several small, separate private rooms where many guests were tasting tea.
However, the reception didn’t greet them.
The Buzz Cut guy didn’t glance to the side and just led Gu Shengyin straight upstairs.
They didn’t stop on the second floor, continuing up to the third floor.
The Buzz Cut guy stopped at the top of the last wooden staircase and said to Gu Shengyin, "The Eldest Son is up there, you can go in yourself."
Apparently, he didn’t plan to accompany Gu Shengyin up.
Gu Shengyin nodded to him and turned to walk forward.
She had been wondering why the Buzz Cut guy hadn’t been clear about the location, what if she couldn’t find the room?
But as she walked closer, she understood why he didn’t specify.
The entire third floor had only one room.
The door was closed.
The solid wood door had no doorbell, so Gu Shengyin gently knocked twice.
"Co in," a clear and gentle male voice sounded.
Gu Shengyin pushed open the door and stepped inside.
It was a large tea room.
A man was sitting in a chair by the balcony, next to a wooden railing with two pots of green plants.
In front of him was a small round wooden table with a complete set of tea ware, and a bit further was a small stove with a kettle of boiling water.
In this day and age, does soone actually brew tea themselves?
Backlit, Gu Shengyin couldn’t see the man’s face clearly.
Yet, just his casual posture sitting there, combined with the antique decor around him, made it feel as though one had suddenly stepped into a famous painting from the last century.
Seeing Gu Shengyin enter, the man looked up, speaking in a rather gentle tone: "The guest is here? Please sit."
He didn’t stand up but casually invited Gu Shengyin as if hosting an old friend.
Gu Shengyin didn’t hold back, directly walking over and sitting opposite him.
Only then did she clearly see the man’s appearance across from her.
Such a noble gentleman, polished like jade.
Gu Shengyin truly felt that this man, sitting quietly with his head down, was like a rare and precious gem.
Who would have thought that the Eldest Son of the infamous Yu family in the C Province underworld would be such an elegant man?
